My grandma had a visitation from her son last night (my uncle) that passed away on thanksgiving day. She had a "dream" about him walking into her room and saying "I faked my own death because things weren't going well with my wife and I got picked up at the cemetary by a woman and were going to Hawaii." Basically all the things he was saying in this dream were true about this life and he acted just like he did when he was alive, he and my dad used to work in Hawaii and he always loved it there. He never really believed in God or in an afterlife so do you think that maybe he's an earthbound spirit and he still thinks hes alive for some reason? The reason I think that is because my family owns a stock and he told my grandma to "send the money to him when the stock goes up". Have any of you had similar experiences of a visitation from a loved one who still acts like he/she is alive?

This is maybe just the way I read it but, is he actually dead??. I mean you say visitation but if he was in Hawaii then how would any money be sent if he had passed???

Did i miss something??..

Yes he is dead, and visitation occured in a dream. That's the confusing part, he's dead but in the visitation he's acting like he's still alive!

wow- what a predicament.

One of my friends is what I would call a 'councellor for the dead'. She basically goes to haunted houses and talks with the ghost to let them know that they have passed over. She holds the light open for them to walk to.

Send out a message for a white witches assistance, and one should come to you to assist.

Much love for you and your family. It's hard letting people, that you love, go. Especially to a place where you can't look after them anymore. remember that he has his guides that love him infinitely and eternally, looking out for him.

Big hug for you :grouphug:

SloppyJoe, I wanted to recommend to you and for you and your grandma, to check out the book called "The Afterlife Connection: A Therapist Reveals How To Communicate With Departed Loved Ones." By Dr. Jane Greer.
The Book Link is here. It's Amazon. (http://www.amazon.com/Afterlife-Connection-Therapist-Communicate-Departed/dp/0312306520)

I really think this will help out, the Author has spent many years researching this and comes with some degrees etc.

I believe spirits hang around for unfinished business. I have worked with so many people who have had loved ones return. They are here, they do not do not die, they change forms. I would tell you to assist her by seeking help from a professional source in real life, or online to help deal with this. There is so much we do not understand. We are babes in the woods when it comes to spirits.

Have you ever watched the TV series Hamish Macbeth? There's a character in it called TV John, who is powerfully psychic, everyone knows, and just accepts it as How Things Are. In John's world, encountering the 'dead' isn't surprising or confusing, although the messages can be.

My brother killed himself in 1986. He turned up in my dreams until he went so Gollum on me I had to kick him out. My best friend as a young child was a young boy named Harold, who was murdered in the early 70's. Harold began turning up in my dreams a few years after his death- he knew he was dead although we didn't talk about it and he continued to be my gorgeous and gentle friend until we were 15, at which time he told me he'd decided to recycle back in, as in reincarnate. Recently some information came through that indicates one of my life partners may actually be this individual- he's 18 years younger than me and has so many similarities to Harold that it's possible, even if it doesn't make much difference accept in perhaps some explanation as to the powerful bond we have with each other. :)

My beloved nanna used to turn up in my dreams and do things that would wake me up due to my laughter- she doesn't visit now, I think she's off doing other things. I lost my eldest daughter in a car accident in 2010 but she hasn't shown up and my intuition is that she's getting assistance; the twins I lost in pregnancy showed up 17 years later to let me know how they were going. These things aren't strange if you're used to them.

With regards your uncle, my suggestion is to perhaps see what happens with him. He might just need to talk things through and get some peace, in which case that's easy peasy, but if he goes Gollum about it he can be banned from the space- I didn't find it hard, I just said 'no' and shut a door that was there, it could work by just imagining the door. That's my experience anyway. :)
