How the smurf did I get so far behind ... seems like only yesterday ... change timelines have we???
Yarp!
Picked up a few more Patrons at the Pub have we???
Yarp!
Posts jumping are they??? :bolt:
Yarp!
Well, now that we've got the catchup out of the way... :D
Smurfland only has one official female ... Smurfette of course.
But ... being PapaSmurf with assistance from Brainy Smurf who has detailed knowledge of genetics has it's ... ummm ... advantages it does.

Uh, hmm, so unless you are Papasmurf, you're still not getting any action? Unless it's from Brainy Smurf? Ok, got it.

Usually It's TEQUILA!!! BUM BUNNA NANNA NA NA, BUM BUNNA NANNA BUM
Hey, I know that song! It's an *awesome* song- why the hell it doesn't have a video on youtube I have no idea.
Although the idea of a banana bum is kind of boggling and leads me down all kinds of rabbit holes- how on earth would one sit down with a bum shaped like a banana? Other than in banana shaped chairs of course...
http://www.winning-billiards.com/uploadfile/product/others/Banana-sofa-chair-1266891717-0.jpg
now, I don't know what it says about me as a Being, but that banana chair looks like a gigantic rocking sex toy. I don't *think* that's what the manufacturers were going for, but in this day and age, can any of us *really* be sure?

Wow, considering there's about 500 Smurfs at least, that means you're getting it like once every 18 months? Harsh. I don't like going without more than once every 18 hours but hey, to each their own.
Clearly, in Smurfland, it's great to be the girl. :D

In fact, my female sources inform me, its location and disposition are two matters that fall well within the arena of what might be termed 'Borden's special knowledge'. Woo-hoo! Look at my male ego go! But I'm sure there's nothing unexpected in that, haha. So there. I think all this squirming business is mere projection! The Caps lock gives you away! Aha! Aaah, Calz, I loved dinosaurs as a child. Wasn't that the one that was known for its irrational behaviour and violent mood swings? Not as big as some of the other carnivores, but savage and lethal if approached from the wrong angle or at the wrong time of the day? I'm in the shadows in my new pic, but I'll see if I can blend into them totally before Songsy and Cerridwen come back. That's the extent of my manliness!

There's nothing like having a little blue Jedi master to draw fire away from a shadowy but foolish Sith. When they get back I will relax at the bar with a Borden special and watch your sabre whir about deflecting lady-laser fire until the moon has moved a little and they feel less tetchy. Oh damn! Now I've done it! Right, back to back then, Master Smurf. It's okay, I can hold my Borden special in my left hand.
(You know, seeing Viral Spiral's post makes me more and more convinced I definitely missed that pic Ninja week in Jedi school. I was probably off being seduced by the dark side or something, dammit.)

Love to a Lovely Soul, songsforanotherkind
black winged and pointy eared love back at you, although I do find it internally odd to be called 'lovely'- spiritual dysmorphia as well as physical, apparently.
I did pull out my dictionary because at times I am challenged in the written message. So I looked up your word: "dysmorphia" - deformity or abnormality in the shape or size of a specified part of the body. Me thinkith I need a larger dictionary.
So rather than to misinterpret. I'll say that these eyes only see soul and light from others, not physical. So for "songsfortheotherkind" I see only Great Soul Light.

#736 by songsfortheotherkind: "That 'taking care of others' programming was jammed at me from the age of three, when I took on the business of protecting my younger sister from our mother. Another sister and by the time I was 7. I was caring for them, often left to figure out how to feed them with no food in the house, all the same story and how it is. It just expanded from there, until it felt like I was responsible for the entire gorram world- that's what sparked the obviously unsuccessful suicide attempt at 14."
Hello songsfortheotherkind,
Second oldest of eight, I share in part with your experiences; shoulder with responsibility of a mother rather than a daughter at such a young age. I’m still not quite sure how to reference your description of “dysmorphia”, but below is what I consider those of us that signed on to experience great growth in a short time. The purpose? So we can on with the real business of why we are here. This is my perception of why we’re souls of “twoofakind”:
“Protectors of Another Kind” have eyes to see those of the same ilk. Dysmorphia is but one tool in our medicine bag. We are great medicine people; blessed with inner knowing. Medicine People have the ability to cast wide healing nets. “Protectors of Another Kind” are the beauty, the alchemy of transfiguration in the many. Scars now lifted, we journey back to the Absolute, The One.
Love and Blessings,

I did pull out my dictionary because at times I am challenged in the written message. So I looked up your word: "dysmorphia" - deformity or abnormality in the shape or size of a specified part of the body. Me thinkith I need a larger dictionary.
In explanation: I have dysmorphia, which means I can't actually accurately tell what I look like- for me it appears like I'm looking at my physical Self via the distortion of an unfun house mirror or twenty. It's one of the ways the virus tries to get at me because of my naturally slidey nature- I'm told I rarely look the same in any two photos so apparently the slidey shows in the physical as well. I've never been truly comfortable in a human avatar, I feel 'wrong' no matter what I do, so I've just gotten 'mwahahahahaha' about it and learned to have fun with it. I really do feel Ogra-ish. :P Ogra in a wicked corset and thigh high boots. *cracks self up*

Done with work and time to play at the Pub. * Looks around* So... did Calz finally get all dried off after his gentle shove in the shark infested pond for insulting Viral? And where is Borden? He can’t still be hiding in the men’s room. Or can he?
Oh ok, there’s Calz talking to WhiteCrow. Such a wonderful woman. Wow, his cheeks are really glowing purple. *Starts laughing nervously* Is he ok? Oooh so thats what happens when smurfs blush. Awww he’s fine.
*Orders a drink, drops some change in the jukebox and sits on the comfy blue sofas* Hmm... that guy’s been laying here for an awfully long time... *Shrugs and sings along*
QjWn-ueeeLw
Violent mood swings. Pft! I wonder if Borden *doesn't* sing this song while bathing as well.

Nope. I'm a Libran with tons of Sagg and something else, I can't remember: essentially it means I like beautiful surroundings in which to have my brains smashed out by a slice of lemon wrapped around a large gold brick. Fortunately, here at the Pub, I've arranged matters to provide the perfect conditions for both. What a clever little creator I am... :P

phew. thanks Noraml Guy. it did the trick.
in fact, in my air band fantasy my talents are so great, my gifts so profound, that i'm able to play lead guitar, drums, and do lead vocals all at once. i had fun playing sax *and* guitar here at the same time. thanks again.

A funny thing happened this morning on my way downstairs from my opulent digs here in the Pub... I've been processing it all day.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBOazh5Iss4
I ran into a solid wall of miscommunication this morning. It was sudden, confusing and abruptly terminated, three things that happen to be triggers of mine, so my commitment to my Sui Generis really got a solid workout. Here's a few things I've discovered about the experience of being misunderstood, no matter how I'm trying to express my perspective; it is one of those things that causes me to massively constrict in the chest- I pull all my energy in towards my body and out of my auric field, go into shield and defense mode, and disconnect from the situation and the other Being. I haven't observed this as distinctly in my body as I did this morning; I was really able to watch the physical constricting within the confusion and reaction and could stand outside it, map what it was doing and what the intention behind that impulse to constrict is.
On the outside, the discussion is always about 'defense mechanisms', the desire to shield Self from 'harm' and all those other metaphors for certain experiences that we are fed as 'being so', which I'm discovering is a front for something far more deliberate. I was able to observe in great detail the story of the constriction and the struggle to maintain the expansion in the face of all the yammering in my head.
Expansion is a physical, energetic and consciousness focus for me: I am mapping the effects of the entire paradigm has on my body and energetic system and what I've discovered is that there is a massive virus feeding that goes on with both the constriction and the abandoning of the energy field in order to go 'out there' in someone else's space. I watched the programs in my head go off- it wanted me to pick up and run with stories of 'all f*cking men are the same', stories of the curses my mother placed on me at 16 such as 'no one will ever want you just the way you are, you're too much of a freak' and other crap that likes to pop it's annoying little head up when something is biting me on the outside; it was trying so hard to get me to bite that I wouldn't do it, preferring instead to go against the massive tide within me and stay focused on the expansion, on the turning towards wide open spaces within me, widening the energetic and physical space of my whole upper body, intentionally scanning and releasing every point of restriction I could find.
I found my Self pouring energy out into the sphere from an infinite source within me; the virus just fled from before me, the more I widened out. Every time it tried to trigger another old story of hurt, raised the images of pain and physical trauma that created the fractures in the first place, I would simply turn to face the story and deliberately widen out my field to embrace it, intentionally taking on the story with every energy centre I have as wide open as I could make it. The experiences I have regarding my fears around men are not small- the virus likes to try retriggering such things as the 12 hour rape ordeal I went through at the hands of my first partner, which left me in and out of a coma for three days- and I'm saying this not because I'm interested in words of sympathy (which I never know what to do with anyway, I don't understand them), I'm saying it because I know what it's like to do this while being really, really scared. I can put the trigger feelings in front of me and widen out from *choice*, because I know the old stories backwards and they're all nothing but traps, places to get stuck in and vibrate on the low and chaotic level that the virus loves to feed on.
I can't adequately describe what happens in this space- just like I can't adequately describe what the word 'shenanigans' tastes like in my mouth, or what the colour purple tastes like- all I can say is try it your Self and watch what happens to the virus and what happens to the connection to Self. I become immersed in my own sui generis signal, so wide, so deep, so embracing that nothing else can get in that isn't of equal vibration and frequency and I become connected to power and energy that is only now really getting solidly connected to my own. I can send that anywhere I want, so the first place I sent it to was to the story of pain and disconnection that I was experiencing, dissolving it so that I could stand in my own presence again without all the stories.

So. F*cking . Awesome.
I have spent most of my life with my hands held defensively in front of my head energetically, my chest constricted around my heart and my energy pulled inwards- my hands are down away from my face these days and I'm simply refusing to buy into the fear p0rn, the continuous exhortation to buy into the drama and the many anxieties that we cannot adequately identify or respond to, the gathered armies, the cabals, the poison, the constant bombardment, the seemingly overwhelming and superior forces: what I know is that I am experiencing an immediate cessation of the physical poisoning I experience as soon as I release into the space, really release, consciously and intentionally. I'm not looking to replace the story with anything, just let it be what it is without my feeding anything in any way- I'm simply holding my own unique signal, my own sui generis, regardless of what anyone else thinks about that, or thinks I 'should' be doing a different way, or how I'm 'supposed' to be, or say it, or understand it- it's just me, in all my constantly evolving imperfection, out here on the bridge between chaos and order, playing with the energies and dancing to my own music. I have no answers for anyone else, just my example, my way of seeing things, my own strange universe - I can't produce scientific proof that all this dancing is doing anything at all to dissolve the virus, I just have my own empirical knowing.
I'm willing to go anywhere this energy wants to take me, I'm willing to dance in the masculine energy without a shred of the old fears and constrictions- I might clunk at it *and* I'll keep coming back to expansion within my Self because that's where my power is- I don't need to trust anyone else, it's *me* I trust and believe in. I'm not holding back anything in my Self and the virus has no place to grab hold of in me- I'm sure it will come up with something and I'm equally sure that if I expand into the new space, I'll find my Self dancing on this Bridge again and again, getting more and more powerful every time.
This works for me... *laughing*
So, so grateful to the men who trigger me, my teachers in what I can best let go of- I'm open to learning through other pathways than resistance and I'm getting better at that with every second I stay in the expanded space. I can stay in my sui generis and leave them to theirs, knowing that the energies and information I get from them and from the universe may have no relevance to them whatsoever, that perhaps very little of this journey that I'm on, this dance I'm out here doing, will have much relevance at all to any other Being- and it's enough for me, this feeling of reconnection to the me before the toxic stories of lack and limitation and f*cked upness kicked in and I forgot how to let go.

Seems I'm getting the hang of it again, thanks to the virus and its best efforts...
ohhhhhh- I"m sitting here with the headphones on while I'm writing this, listening to the song I posted at the beginning- I've been breaking to jump up and dance, or just chair dance, and a moment ago I was chair dancing, eyes closed and head tipped back- and my eldest daughter, the one I lost in 2011, my wild horse of a girl, just jumped in the space with me and we're dancing together again, when she was 12 and so shiny at her first doof, so gorgeous and free and I have to go and dance with her, I haven't seen her this clearly since she died- I'll finish this later...

Thoughts on the Feminist Movement - Why I Don't Clap along

Why do you think TPTB wanted women to go to work in the first place? It generated even greater tax revenues... but hey, nobody minds that the rich patriarchs so many claim to despise were behind the women's movement, right?
With MOM out of the house, the influence over her children slowly began to erode, and with it, the nuclear family - by design, of course. It's worked magnificently over the years for the diabolical powermongers at the root of it all. It has worked too well in their favor. Our families lose. We lose. Big Pharma wins. The banker wins. Psychopaths win.
Women think they're FREE now. What a joke. You're not free if you're feeding into an illusion. Big damn deal. We got the right to vote. So what? The vote is bogus. Rigged. It means Zip, nada, zero. but we've got the 'right' to pretend it means something and we're engaging in something 'important'. Yup, We're now equal with men. We're equally screwed. We're equally ripped off. Equally deceived, equally oppressed. We're slaves with richer slave-masters. We've traded the health and well-being and sanity of our selves and our families for the worthless promissory note that isn't even valued as high as the paper it's printed on. We've traded our own thoughts for THEIR thoughts, our minds for illusion.
We've fought long and hard for all these so-called 'rights' for women all these years, and the powerful 'women' at the forefront of this so-called 'movement' in the beginning were working right along with those rich patriarchs they so claimed to despise, and wanted you to despise too. But it wasn't just rich, powerful men they wanted you to hate. It was ALL men. And everybody calling themselves 'woman' burned their bras, marched off to work and left their kids alone with the TV... OH BOY. What great strides we've taken. Backwards.
The TV has been a TREMENDOUS teacher. We blame everything wrong with our children upon everyone and everything else but ourselves. Where were we? Chasing the almighty worthless dollar. 'Finding ourselves' at the expense of all that used to matter. The 1% didn't even give us a kiss. Gloria Steinem didn't give us a kiss. Men don't dare give us a kiss. Men don't know WHAT to do anymore. If you want to thank Steinem for something, thank her for the enormous amount of bull**** she exhaled right up our collective ass. Hooray for us. Now we stink too.
Have we found ourselves yet?
But HEY. No worries. All that damage to our dysfunctional families and our mentally disordered french-fry chomping kids is so easily fixed with a growing assortment of expensive little pills. All kinds of colorful little pills to fix us and plenty of 'experts' to tell us how wonderful we'll feel and how much we need them. How much our children need them. And the new and improved version of 'woman', the 'enlightened modern-day' mothers everywhere are scooping them up and making their kids eat this brain poison. We're pimping our kids out as guinea pigs to Big Pharma. Eat your pill and fade into that quiet, compliant Stepford zombie, my little one. Mommy is too distracted by her panic attack to deal with you right now. Mommy needs a pill and a drink and a nap. Meanwhile, Big Pharma is laughing. Cha-ching, cha-ching, cha-ching. And the so-called leaders of the feminist Movement aren't exactly screaming for us to STOP this. I don't hear them making any noise at all. Are they eating these pills too?
The bean counters are smiling. Cha-ching, cha-ching, cha-ching. and we must keep our kids on these pills for life, they say. Cha-ching, cha-ching. and WE need to get ourselves MORE pills too. Cha-ching, cha-ching. If you don't like it, well then, enlightened modern-day woman, go out and... USE THAT VOTE and change it. Only problem is, that vote of yours never really changes anything for the better, does it? You're not going to get the change you 'vote' for. You will get more ILLUSION. And your discontent will continue to grow, that uneasy, unsettled feeling in the pit of your gut that something is very OFF here, something is way wrong.
And HEY, while we're at it, let's just keep on sucking down the backwash that ALL MEN are the enemy, because that feeds into this Hegelian divide and conquer strategy, this socially engineered school of thought we've allowed ourselves to be herded into, that most of you don't even know exists, because you only think about entertaining yourselves, about gathering more dollars, about your appearance, about sex, about whatever Lady Gaga wore last night, and whatever your TV tells you to think. Most of you are too distracted: by your iphones, by stupid cell phone games, by the whole concept of the empowered whore, an 'ideal' promoted and encouraged by the fake Feminist movement and by watching these ****s on the idiot box who struggle with their image of 'self' while juggling casual affairs like they're in a circus. Women seriously relate to these bitches? And we have the nerve to get pissed off when men don't respect us? Try wearing some panties. It's a start.
But HEY. We have CHOICES now, they say. You bet. We've 'enjoyed' the choice of abortion-on-demand, and we've supported the institutions that want to kill our babies for us, for a charge. We support Planned parenthood, another one of our 'enlightened non-decisions'. See, now we can have sex all the time, not use protection, and 'take care of the problem' if the 'accident' happens. We have convenience. Planned parenthood has our backs, sista. After all, eugenicist Margaret Sanger had no love for the idea of women breeding more children. Oh, enlightened feminist woman, have you ever pondered the origins of Planned Parenthood? Have you ever heard the word 'eugenics'? Indulge me. Look it up.
The feminist movement is an illusion. More smoke & mirrors. Fronted by individuals with agendas once again telling you what you wanted to hear. Telling you what to THINK - about yourself, about your loved ones, about your role in this world. Redefining your purpose and your very essence.
The Feminist Movement only represents women who THINK LIKE THE Movement. It does NOT represent ALL women. Let's see how many feminists support my right to express ideas that run counter to their group think. Because they sure as hell don't represent women who think like me. I am no bible-thumping christian, and I am no deluded false political paradigm swigging 'Democrat or Republican'. The Feminist Movement does NOT support or represent women who CHALLENGE its group think or its agenda.
I am just a woman. I do not hate men, in spite of and despite any of the bad experiences I've had with men or because of the bad men I've been involved with, or because of my bad choices and poor decisions overall. And I am a mother, who has seen the negative effects of joining the workforce in my own life - and the irreparable toll it took upon my family over the years. I see what a lot of these feminist ideas have wrought upon the world, and how they've flipped this country inside out and upside down.
I don't think the trade-off was worth it. What have we really gained? More self-respect? More worthless money? A 'right' to a bogus vote? More meaningful relationships with the opposite sex? A surefire way to get rid of unwanted pregnancy even as we continue having more irresponsible sex? Wow. So many 'choices'. How impressive.
Men are so leery of women now, it's a wonder anyone tries to date us at all. But that's okay, right? We don't NEED to date men anymore. We can date each other. Terrific. And while that appeals to a lot of women these days, it does NOT appeal to me. So I'm left to navigate the screwed-up dating world, full of messed up, broken people who present themselves as shiny, happy, successful, shallow, perfect and plastic.
I really think women have been pimped out by the 'feminist movement'. Pimped out and suckered en masse and the whole family has paid the price. Our whole society has paid the price. Man, woman and child. The psychopaths win. What a fun game this must be for them. They never seem to lose ground. But we, the people, have lost something immeasurable. We forfeited because we refused to think for ourselves. We picked a fine time to do it... I am not and have never been a feminist.
The feminist movement does not influence my life or my thinking. This is another socially engineered pen I refuse to be herded into. Much has been broken, too many people have been systematically deceived, betrayed, ripped off and misled. Too many families ripped apart, children destroyed, minds shattered.
We are a country full of fragile, broken, apathetic, dumbed-down, zombied-out, unthinking people who don't see beyond ourselves, who do not understand ourselves, who do not know ourselves, who do not think our own thoughts, can't remember who we were and refuse to admit who or what we've become. If we can't recognize ourselves, how can we identify the problems outside of ourselves? How can we understand any of these things that matter and who is behind them and WHY and what to do about them, if anything can be done? We have become slaves with wealthier Masters. The Feminist Movement helped to destroy the family from within. Is this an achievement?
It's about that time, right? Time for someone to remind me, in no uncertain terms, of how far we've come.Yeah, we've come such a long way, baby. Cha-ching, cha-ching, cha-ching...

Tornadoes thrash Dallas area
[Update 3:13 p.m.] At 2:05 pm CT (3:05 ET) Tuesday afternoon, trained weather spotters reported a tornado on the ground five miles east of downtown Dallas, Texas. The tornado is moving northeast at 20 mph.
[Update 3:09 p.m. ET] After the tornado passed through, CNN affiliate CBSDFW showed dozens of orange Schneider trucks in various states of damage and disarray.
CNN affiliate WFAA showed severe damage to some homes in Lancaster, Texas.
[Update 2:59 p.m. ET] Separate tornadoes in Texas barreled toward the Dallas-Forth Worth area Tuesday, prompting the National Weather Service to issue tornado emergencies.
Video from CNN affiliate WFAA broadcast dramatic footage of the scene, showing truck trailers being lifted and tossed like toys. Ominous clouds filled the skies.
There were no immediate reports of major injuries or damage, but CNN's Chad Myers said the worst may be yet to come.
"Both storms right now are getting bigger. They both have been rotating, and they both have significant possibilities of damage on the ground heading into DFW," he said.
The weather service urged people in the area to move to a bathroom, closet or hallway on the lowest floor of their buildings and take cover.
[Original post 2:51 p.m. ET] An apparent tornado ripped through Dallas County, Texas, Tuesday afternoon.
A news helicopter from Dallas CNN affiliate WFAA followed a funnel cloud churning through a truck terminal, tossing 80-foot metal cargo trailers hundreds of feet in the air.
CNN meteorologist Jacqui Jeras tweeted, "Watching homes being damaged now in Dallas. Large pieces of debris in the air. Lots of power flashes."
Check back frequently for updates as this story continues to develop.

*sideways and suddenly wolfish eyes* See, mmmm, in my personal opinion and experience, things like this, they're just as toxic as the thing they're bitching about. Here's the thing about this piece- it does nothing at all to move things into what the writer might think is a positive response to the situation, it just bitches and bitches without any real consideration of the background behind some of the things that happened. Is it seriously being suggested that the women's movement happened in a vacuum? That it arose for no good reason whatsoever, that women were simply given an idea and were stupid enough to run with it?
(This comment is now going to get really serious because I'm speaking from a deep place within me. I hope we know each other enough now for you to appreciate that I'm responding passionately and honestly to the topic, *not* that I'm pointing it at you. This is actually a sign of respect for me, it means I feel I'm in company that can actually deal intelligently with me. )
This post is now in direct response to that idiotically whining and bitching woman who wrote the piece.
Here is something worth at least a thousand words as to why the women's movement gained so much ground in the early years.
http://ssofdv.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/battered-woman.jpg
Instead of sitting there impressing yourself (and I'm deliberately not using Self here, because you really aren't as clever and awake as you think you are) and beating women up yet a-f*cking-gain about how men are too scared to date women because the liberation movement has made women so horrendously screwed up, so far from our priorities of staying at home and taking care of babies, keeping the fires burning for the men, keeping society stable by being nothing but a house cleaner and a carer because that's our natural place in the world, w*nk w*ank w*ank, why don't you actually create something intelligent, that actually talks about things from both sides of the coin and then creates some kind of vision that will move things forward in an evolutionary and creative way?
Oh, that's right, you can't. My bad. Because it's much easier to write a bitching, whining piece than it is to actually tap in to the evolution that is happening and create from there. Which, in essence, makes you simply just another tool for the virus while you're sitting there thinking that you are being so revolutionary. As I have pointed out before, who needs a revolution- why on Gaia would I want to spin around in circles around the hub of the PTB, moving diligently from one polarised position to the next?
Don't you get it yet? TPTB can only make something fly if it's crap wrapped around a core of resonance. Every one of their lies has to contain enough resonance in order for the lie to be bought, that's how it works, so there was enough resonance from the beginning for this concept and movement to have energy and volition. If you bothered to have any grasp of history you would know why the women's movement took off- there's only fledgling, struggling women's equality in the Arab an Indian states and just have a look at how things are going for women in those worlds- stoned to death for being unwilling to marry one's rapist? Set on fire because of a dowry issue? And things are any better for women and children in the west when it comes to domestic violence? Do you have your head in the sand regarding the statistics on these things, or are you seriously suggesting to me that these things are only happening because of the women's liberation movement? I have lived in women's shelters before and sat with a 55 year old who was literally covered in scars from her so called husband- she came in with fresh burns from where he had sat on her and burned her with his cigarettes, while he repeatedly punched her in the face. He happened to be 6'5", she was 4'11- she told us how he would pick her up and literally throw her across the room so that she'd hit the opposite wall. Every major bone in this woman's body had been broken by her husband, she was scarred from the neck to her ankles over every centimeter of her body, they didn't have sex, he would simply rape her when he was in the mood- and do you know what? It's only because of the women's liberation movement that any of these things are even considered a crime now, because back in the 'good ol' days' you appear to be yearning for, women and children were considered the property of men and if a man killed his wife from a beating oh well, she obviously wasn't a very good wife in the first place, was she, or else he'd have had no reason to be hitting her, and who cares if she doesn't want sex, it's her job to be an available hole for whenever he wants it, so there's no such thing as rape in marriage.
*momentary white out spasm at the sheer ridiculousness of it all* so much stupidity!!
Even now it's incredibly difficult to the point of 'why bother?' getting a rape assault pushed through the courts when one is in relationship with one's rapist. Domestic violence is on the rise all over the globe and you are suggesting that going back to submission is going to fix this? You know what would fix it? Zero tolerance in the local community of any abuser, regardless of gender- s/he's refused service where ever they go, they are deliberately and pointedly shunned, their victims are clearly taken care of and the abuser is marked out from the society. It's incredibly effective in other cultures, it's simple, and the individual knows what's going to happen to them if they ARE abusive. Zero tolerance to harm is a sui generis thing.
There are so many stupidities in your piece that I, as a ferociously intelligent woman, cannot begin to adequately express my response- it's not a failure of concept factor for me, it's a 'do I really have the time and inclination to?' thing. Rather than go your approach, which is to bitch and pick at the issue, I'm just going to demonstrate my talk by jumping right past the glaring inanity of your writing and move to the sui generis perspective that I have been cultivating, because clearly pointing out the eye sporking obvious doesn't work for one such as you- you obviously haven't learned anything intelligent from history so far, why would pointing it out to you now make a difference?
*********************************************
Ok, I'm back now, momentary rise of extreme irritation has passed.
I'm going to go make my tea and write my sui generis response to this in a new post. *shaking my head* Some things can get my blood boiling within seconds...

So. F*cking . Awesome.
I'm in the wrong bar. Thought this was a pick up joint. But the lights were on, the music sounded good and it's raining outside.
But you are f*cking awesome.
cheers
No, you're in the right Pub, just the wrong room- the pick up room is over there *points* Actually, everywhere here is a pick up room, it just depends on what you're trying to pick up. :D
Thank you for the compliments and you might like to know that in this Pub your money is useless- I'm obscenely wealthy and simply don't need it, so this entire place has been created out of the sheer pleasure of having a space that suits me, which apparently suits many other Beings as well. :D
Enjoy your wandering around and thanks for the Gargleblaster, it was just the ticket.

There is a thread that has been running outside the pub the last few days Songs, the one that points the blame at women, again, for being ultimately responsible for a f**d up world. All I can say, is I stayed away from that one and I am so disappointed that it is given any energy at all. It is still going on.
Calz did right to ask for you thoughts on this piece. It is another perfect example of toxic suggestion. For some reason, pieces like this - targeting women - are starting to pop up a lot - on my radar anyway. Here in Sweden, a gang of rapists set on a woman with two young children for 12 hours straight. The sickening thing is, the leader of the pack had already spent two years in jail for the same offense. He is moslem - extremist obviously - but the state chooses to protect him, because he came to Sweden before the age of 15, and because it is a preferred strategy to downplay these kinds of crimes - towards women - and especially to european women. So, when I see insane articles like this and the OP of this other thread, I go into the gap.
My question is, how do we deal with a species of human that buys into this sh*t and illicit a response that causes them to seriously question themselves?

Hey, I'm just talking about this in the here and now thread- I think I'll do a rare double post thing and put up my reply here too. This is something that I'm really interested in exploring too, especially with the males that frequent the Pub, they tend to be more open and intelligent. They're also here, which means strong and articulate women don't scare them- or not enough to make them run away, at least. I'm not interested in those that can't handle my brand of strong anyway, they're not the droids I seek. *laughing, reaching up to the double swords on my back* Because, as they say, the keyboard is mightier than the sword, until you've got some d*ckhead physically in front of you and intent on real and immediate harm- then I'll take the swords, the martial arts and the psychic ability to spook the beejums out of an attacker over a keyboard, unless it's all I've got to hit them with. :P
There are naturally more complex energetic issues at play here and those are definitely worth discussing- suffice to say that, in the end, violence is only useful as a last resort in the face of a physical attacker. Have you ever read The Gate to Women's Country, by Sheri S. Tepper? I can't recommend it highly enough for some of its themes, even though the eugenics in it does spark some people's ire.

Calaz, I had to wait to comment on your article until I had a little more time to think and type out an appropriate response. Songs got back to you first.
I agree 100% with Songs. Yes there may be some shreds of truth in the author’s piece, TPTB probably did fuel the movement for their own reasons, but I’ll say there’s no way in hell I’ll ever go back to being a man’s possession. F**k that!!! (Yes, I did use the maximum allowance of exclamation points without going over.)
I’ve been fortunate to have never been in any physically abusive relationships in my life. I heard my dad beat the crap out of my mom once when I was very young. He left us soon after that happened and I swore to my little Self I would never let that ever happen to me. Thank goodness that was one promise I kept to myself.
I’ve done my best to raise my daughter the same way. Men and women are equal partners in a relationship. A man might be better doing some tasks and a woman might be better at others. Fine, let the best person for the task do it or even do it together if neither one likes too. Who cares about traditional gender roles. If one is in a relationship and cares about the other, then they should think of themselves as a team anyway.
My blood also starts to boil when I hear about the treatment of women in other countries where such violence is tolerated and considered part of the culture. Stoning, acid throwing, honor killings, genital mutilation? White hot rage is the correct term.
Zebra, I’ve read through parts of that thread also, but just didn’t want to add my own energy there either. Like Songs, I feel safer here in the pub surrounded by people I *know* a little better.

I can't post a link to the post I just made in another thread (my computer is currently utterly borked and being a ratbag, with limited functionality atm) so I'm going to paste the convo here and continue it.
Post made by Carmody
This is a bit odd, but it tends to cover both sides of the developed spectrum.
what I mean is that a friend of mine tended to frequent many bars in his youth, mostly ones that were eateries, though ( half restaurant type bars). As a social historian/anthropologist (this is the guy who had his ideas taken from him and turned into this other person helping humanity understand itself better), he noted that over millennia, men had learned to be polite with one another due to the wars and death that would erupt when confrontation was direct, between men. That men had developed social grease and similar methodologies in order to prevent confrontation from developing, if at all possible. And that women had not developed that aspect to such a high degree, due to the different emphasis in fundamental capacities and associated directions.
This also plays out in the bit about how when women run a society, people stop dying and when men run a society, people die. (a cheap shot, as generalizations go, but bear with me for a moment)
So the development of social tools is a bizarre kind of opposite tied to what the expression is. This, due to the fact that people have to integrate. This observance of course, came about from seeing how when women were involved in male/female confrontations in bars, that men avoided confrontation at all costs ...and that it was noted that many times, that women would move forward to the full confrontation.
The capacities and directions of 'final intent' of either sex could not be more different, which is for men that when confrontation happens ....people die. And for women that the confrontation might get very verbal and emotionally nasty, but people don't die.
Thus, when the women (or just one woman in one party) of the two groups in confrontation would try and escalate to direct physical confrontation, the men would have to work hard to make sure that it never went there..for if they become involved..it might move to a very final state. Serious injury, hospitalization, death.
This sort of thing is actually very obvious in the retrospective view or social sense, but saying it out loud and deliberately... does make a difference. Thus, it can be looked at in the abstract sense, which can be critical when it comes to figuring out what it means and what to do with it.
Regarding chasing a shoplifter. The woman running forward and the men being a bit slow. I have dealt with chasing shoplifters before. In a group of mixed sexes, exactly like this situation.
The woman is likely, at the deeper level, seeking correction of emotional mindset or social function correction in the individual male being chased.
The men chasing, they know better. If they catch the man, a full scale confrontation is the result. It will not decrease, for the male being chased is not going to bend, to acquiesce, to change or shift.......he will escalate. And any men that arrive at that point of finality, will find themselves confronted with a person who is willing to, and is in the body and mindset of an escalation. An escalation to a minimum of a fully blown physical confrontation where injury is not only likely, but virtually assured. This, due to the 'cost' of the act, as presented to the shoplifter-as a potential future for them.
Over what? A few stolen items?
It's not over a few stolen items; as I see it, there is a much, much deeper exploration going on and one that has been really relevant in my own personal journey: how can one truly reach resolution, what are the pathways and skills necessary, what are the words, the patterns, so that a physically less strong Being can truly resolve deep level conflict with a Being that is prone to start cro-magnon style 'hit it, it's annoying me!' reactions when its triggered. Using the generalist patterns that you have framed in your post, what women are looking for is a solid platform resolution- all the male 'social greasing' platforms are, essentially, pacifying mechanisms so that the Head Banana won't either kill you personally or have someone else do it. It's a ritual stroking and soothing program of hierarchy, the pack keeping their heads low so that the alpha can be assured of their recognition and not randomly lash out.
As someone who incarnated partly to hack the virus, in my younger years I spent a long time observing and exploring this pattern in males (and the females who had been thrown off kilter by it). I became fascinated with violence, having experienced so much of it, that I began seeking out places where I had a fair idea interesting violence would happen. I particularly loved the combination of skilled fighting and a willingness to use it, rather than the zen approach of having the skills and using other methods to avoid confrontation, so I'd go to places where I knew this was likely to happen. I was constantly mapping what was going on in the micro and then arching it out into the macro, seeing how the arms race and war with better weapons was the big picture of this more intimate picture of males defending themselves against others more alpha. It was all alpha competition, or defense against alphas. Cro-magnon level stuff.
I learned to be a really cunning and vicious fighter, for awhile. I have no boundaries in spaces like that- I realised that I wasn't prepared to be anyone's bitch and I learned to combine physical willingness to hurt another to keep the boundary with my psychic and energetic ability to creep the beejums out of others if I want to. It apparently drives most individuals crazy and was interesting for me to go through, considering that on a psychic level I lived my life with my hands in front of my head, fighter style, as both a reflex to the violence I'd lived through as a child and to the insanity I observed around me. I was investigating the male realm without really knowing what it was I was looking for, exploring that violence while all the while being shielded against it.
I learned I could trigger that space in a group just by running high level alpha waves in the space, quietly sitting in the corner, making my Self insignificant yet watching the twitching and reacting going on as soon as they came close. I'd extend that wider and watch the reaction spread, watch the absolute program kick in, observe the kind of individuals that would be most susceptible to the energy. It's an interesting thing to be tapped into- get into it on the right level and it's a drug, particularly if you link in a pain override program like I had back then due to my own trauma. Alphas have that naturally, it's part of the pattern- it was interesting to run into a few energetic alphas that sussed what I was doing, I got to discover how strong the force was in me during those encounters, but also discovered that the alphas who were strong enough to be interesting on one level were running such toxic masculine mess on another that there was never really any platform for further exploration.
Males who can carry that strong an energy *and* who aren't driven bonkers by it are very very very thin on the ground. Given the current environment of the evolution, it seems those men are very necessary: I know I'm personally looking for that complex signal, because I know the creative force that it contains. It's the signal of the masculine having evolved beyond the alpha posturing and social conditioning, of being able to stay solid in Self while being confronted with the feminine and it's ability to discern the subtle dissonances that need to be raised to the surface to be cleared. The woman chasing the thief is the woman chasing that clarity and platform, the platform beyond the limited masculine- it's a platform I'm interested in as well, I'm just more aware about the futility of looking for it in direct confrontation with an ungrounded, defensive, out of centre and unaware male.

Thoughts on the Feminist Movement - Why I Don't Clap along

Why do you think TPTB wanted women to go to work in the first place? It generated even greater tax revenues... but hey, nobody minds that the rich patriarchs so many claim to despise were behind the women's movement, right?
Cha-ching, cha-ching, cha-ching...
http://www.sott.net/articles/show/243635-Thoughts-on-the-Feminist-Movement-Why-I-Don-t-Clap-along
Now, tell me which bits you thought were interesting and don't worry, I promise I have put my swords away and can talk about it without getting fangy, lol

My question is, how do we deal with a species of human that buys into this sh*t and illicit a response that causes them to seriously question themselves?
Hiya Z!
From what I've observed over time, the only way to effectively change anyone's point of view is to present an alternative that they find inherently more attractive, and then the old view will naturally become obsolete. Threats don't work, nor does anger, etc.. However, as much as you may attempt to appeal to someone's higher nature, to reach them on the soul level where one can make a difference, that appeal will usually fall on deaf ears unless the listener is open to really listening, to sincerely questioning their prior conditioning, and is able to recognize how the beliefs that they have developed based on that previous programming are not serving their best interests, but are in fact leading them into more and more suffering.
These days, despite all the talk about some mass transformation of consciousness underway, what I have noticed instead is an increasing inability within the collective to thoroughly understand that thoughts and actions have consequences, and that whatever appears within the collective consciousness does so dependent on everything else. There seems to be a growing disconnect in that regard, particularly among the younger generation, and it is troubling. I hope I am wrong, but the evidence seems to point to an uncomfortable truth.
Moreover, having come to understand how things work out after death, particularly in terms of the life review process, I have come to have great pity for the abusers, and when I hear about their crimes, I say a little prayer for them, as well as for their victims, because I know how they will suffer, and in fact they will be their own hardest accusers once they get direct knowledge of the consequences of their past thoughts and deeds. I mean, even the little inadvertant slights we may have tossed off to a co-worker, for example, sting like the dickens when we see their ripples. Try telling folks about that, however, and you will likely get blank stares, if not smirks, so I tend to keep that issue to myself, unless a legitimate opportunity presents itself, and even then, it will usually only elicit lip service.
Consequently, I try to stick to the basics. I understand that, first and foremost, everyone at heart wants to love and be loved, and so I direct my efforts in that regard, attempting to point out in various ways how negative strategies such as greed, envy, hatred, blame, divisiveness, and fear-mongering do not result in what the person wants most -- to be loved. If this can be seen directly, then the person may be motivated to change. Unfortunately, many are so gone in their self-absorbed delusions that they will have to learn the hard way, which is why this realm is both a prison and a school.

There are aspects of Calz's article that merit further analysis, that being how a movement, any movement that seeks to improve the conditions within a portion of humanity, is immediately co-opted by the BiP, and whatever good is sought is effectively neutralized and further harm done in the name of doing some good. I see where the writer is coming from, and I agree to an extent, and I didn't really see where the writer suggested that women resume the previous status as chattel to men.
That being said, I agree vehemently with songs response for it's own merit, and I also largely ascribe to the dictum to do know harm, but also I understand where my granny was coming from when she said "some folks just need killin'". I understand that sometimes it might be the best for everyone involved in a situation of extreme abuse if the abuser were to proceed immediately and henceforth with processing their particular karmic lessons from a vantage on the other side of the veil. Not from lack of compassion do I say this, but from an abundance of it. Nonsense to some to be sure.

*wolfish laughing over the rim of her glass*
Hey, considering how much I edited *out*... *grins*
Seriously, I'm only interested in creating a platform that really works for this evolution cycle- I like the masculine and I'm really, really tired of it being too afraid to get itself by the balls and meet me eye to eye, to make the jump, be willing to make the expansion into the energetic Self despite how f*cking scary that feels in the moment. I'm in energetic warrior mode at the moment, have been since last night (and lightbulbs just went on about that a few moments ago due to something someone wrote in the Here and Now thread regarding the tornadoes) so my Otherness and wildish natures are running pretty strong, my fangs and pointy ears are really obvious and I'll do my best to keep that in mind, heh. :P
I'm really bored with the low level vibration stuff. That ridiculous women hating thread is just one element of a backlash that's trying to shut down the amping feminine energy- and the males that support it- because of the creative and evolutionary power behind it. *laughs* Perhaps the men on this forum can start putting 'I dig women with attitude, power and strong opinions' type messages in their sigs, to differentiate from that t*wattery. This evolution is definitely one the masculine, the feminine and everything in between can dance to, because that's the only way it's going to get *really* interesting- and discovering a masculine that can *really* play well in this realm is one of the reasons I'm here. :D

gorgeous, gorgeous post, so much pure signal. For me, this realm is not a prison at all, I have no interest in non-corporeal existence, and I fully get how for many that is the experience they have. My own is sui generis different and I love the points of connection. I agree with so much of this, particularly about the growing inability to discern things.
Thank you so much for this- I've got to go out for awhile and when I get back I really want to explore this topic deeply, get my perspective and experience of it clear.
Awesome discussion.

I am looking forward to further exploration of these important themes also -- I feel we have the crew here to dig down into the core!
One point of clarification: non-corporeal existence, formlessness, is not the only option to this realm, by far. There are so many amazing worlds in this physical universe alone that would stagger the imagination, worlds where the population has moved far beyond the need for basic lessons of how to behave that make up the curriculum for most incarnated here. From what I've seen and learned, a majority of them would be considered utopian worlds by our current standards, without the endemic plagues of violence and abuse that constitute the menu here, although there are some places that are worse, and would be considered true hell realms. We can observe such diversity even on this planet itself -- with a huge percentage of the population still living in rather primitive conditions, under the thumb of sociopathic rulers, and for them it is indeed a prison, since they are essentially trapped, with little opportunity to experience the kinds of freedoms that we in the so-called "developed world" might take for granted. And of course, in these aforementioned locales, it is the women who bear the brunt of the restrictions, as well as the abuse.
May all beings be free!

For me, this realm is not a prison at all, I have no interest in non-corporeal existence, and I fully get how for many that is the experience they have.
*looks over at you with sudden interest and slightly raised eyebrows*
You are the first Being outside my realms that I have ever heard reference the other physical universes within this one. I have learned to discuss things in a non-corporeal/corporeal sense because that generally proved more than most could even begin to take on, let alone talk about the various veils and how to shift between them. I know about these worlds because they're where I come from- what's interesting me is, how do you? It's why I have never bothered with those (to me, anyway) ridiculous 'what planet do you come from, then?' questions and the like, and a massive fail in language- I can't describe what colors taste like, how am I going to be able to describe what all the stuff that has no equal here is?- has caused me to simply never speak about it.
I'm a gateway. Bridge between realms. It's one of the things I do. I have never, ever spoken about it to anyone outside my intensely and very small private circle. Apparently, that too is about to change. 0-o
Interesting.

I'm getting leveled up all over the place, this last 24 hours, it seems- the beginnings of my astral travelling ability have kicked in again, I've been privy to some serious level responses to the virus and its manipulators, I've taken my own virus self hacking to new and interesting places, I've randomly done psychic healing after 10 years of not, just to mention a few. Apparently, Interesting Things are indeed Afoot. :P

I recognized you instantly.
The Zen Master Amban said, "When two thieves meet, they recognize each other right away."
The same could be said for Sui Generii, for how could they not?
I don't come from anywhere, everywhere arises within me.
I came here seeking lovers and friends with whom to share this Mystery, this Wonder.
Instead, what I’ve mostly found is the wry and overly familiar moans and groans of the sleepily self-possessed.
And yet, I cannot help but love them – in truth they are none other than who I am.
All are the Beloved, at heart we are the same — this is what the heart knows, all the rest is the play of change.
Having said this, I find that there is nothing more to say.
Having said that, let me say this:
Our beauty makes me weep. Our efforts to love make me weep.
Our failure to love makes me weep. Love makes me weep.
I weep for love, and so what else is there to say?
Having said this, let me say that I find all of us irresistible.
Even the endearing little names we wear – I love them, and so I weep.
Do you see what I mean? Please explain it to me.
It is dark now, late, and I am traveling over big water.
There are many toll booths behind me, but this one-way freeway never seems to end.
Still, there is Mercy in these wheels, and in the sky I drive through, this brilliant full moon shows no sign of backing off.
Some say: “Keep your chin up.”
Others say: “Keep your head down.”
I nod and shake my head, simultaneously.
My Professore once told me: “It’s all Truth. Everything is True!”
He lives with a rabbit that licks his head, and so I tend to take his babbling seriously.
As a child I was entranced by the story of the Water Babies, and the secret question the water asked the sea.
Sometimes I remember the answer, and sometimes I forget.
When I forget, I remember — isn’t this how it goes?
What appears in the dark can be a door to the light.
When I walk through that door it seems that it was never really there.
There it is now — take my hand?
What stands between us is only us. Take that away and see what remains.
When I die, perhaps some will lean over my lovely sarcophagus.
They may say: “He looks so peaceful now.”
I will hear them, because I am so peaceful now, and I'm holding every hand.
Sometimes I try, compelled as I am by those in "another place" for whom my words are translated into musical notes and broadcast for the pleasure of the Beautiful One, the One who lives all of this in unspeakable joy. See the link in my signature below, for babbles and bellows.

Sui Generis means unique, own authority, own jurisdiction, one of a kind. When I say sui generis, I'm talking about a way of Being that recognises what works for *me*, the unique and irrepeatable frequency that I Am, is never, ever, ever going to work *exactly* for any other Being. There's no such thing as 'one size fits all' in anything in a sui generis multiverse- how can it, it's entirely filled with utterly unique Singularities exploring co-creation with each other! This in part means the constant engagement in 'consensus' of any kind is futile- so why bother doing it? - and the quest to nail the universe down to a solid state becomes useless- because my universe has things in it like being part of a massive energetic response with a decisive 'not any more' to some energies playing with tornadoes, but that's not *everyone's* cup of tea- and the struggle with relationship bullsh!t- because I'm here being me, and you're there being you, and we can just get to experience each other without any rules whatsoever: how can there be rules? There's what you like, and what I like, and what you're up for, what I'm for, what can be co-created in that space, and that's what's there to be explored- if that lasts a day, awesome, if it lasts a million years, awesome, it's just what it is.
http://cdn-wac.emirates247.com/polopoly_fs/1.288071.1283745557!/image/2729092280.jpg
Sui generis is release from the virus, completely. Being entirely present to the power within Self and getting into that dance, either alone or in finding others that are into that dance, completely absent of the desire to buy into stories about should and shouldn't and this is what it all means and blah blah blah. It's to prevent individuals attaining this state that religion was created for, that whole story about how, left to our own devices, we'd be nothing but evil and inclined towards selfdestruction and horror to one another. I'm a hybrid Being that comes from a number of different races- using limited, homogenous language that does nothing to describe the actual process- and I can state this categorically- that 'born from sin' hypothesis is an absolute load of manipulated sh!t. The universe is waaaaaaaaaay more gorgeous and luscious than that, and so are the Beings in it.
http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/590/82c/59082cb1-6c57-4871-925a-cd7bad27ae81
Sui generis is the call to focus on the power of your true signal, and discover the kick arse abilities that it contains. The virus has, all along, been trying to create the conditions that would prevent enough numbers of sui generis Beings to be consciously present and pointing that consciousness at it that the virus could be undone. *dances, head tilted back* Seems its best efforts are rapidly coming undone.

Seeing the language- the one I speak but use only in my poetry- being spoken back to me that I am unable to write anything at all to you in this moment. I am moved to stillness by being Seen. It seems I've gotten dulled to the signal through simply accepting being here alone- but this, this-

in the core of me it was this- and then the learning to accept that this wasn't going to be possible here, and so bringing the light back into my Self and learn to feel the joy even in the solitary nature of the dance, despite my natural inclination and signal.
Now, when I have finally made peace with the Is Not, the Is shows up all over the place, from all directions, unexpected and tossing me from my complacency. *laughing* Fortunately, that's one thing that floats my boat.
Spartacus
4th April 2012, 05:38
I like this music. Don’t know the words so I’ll make up my own and sing to myself...while I swim to another long island and roll a smoke on its golden beach.
I’m Spartacus. I’m a lover, not a fighter. Who wants to fight? An animal can learn to fight. But to say beautiful things, and to make people believe them...
I’m evolutionary, not revolutionary - one ‘r’ less than a mouse on a treadwheel. It fascinates me that very small changes here and there can create such a big difference to the whole. One or two tweaks to a chromosome and a mouse becomes a human being. Well... at least in theory. One or two tweaks to a human genome and what can you imagine next? Now here’s a trippy thought: DNA is a physical manifestation of a pattern of energy, is it not? I believe the answer to that must be ‘yes’. And all energy is vibration of a specific frequency. Now if the pattern of energy were to change, or to phase shift - just slightly - then wouldn’t the physical manifestation also have to change and come into alignment with the underlying pattern.
Violence, control, abuse, enslavement, TPTB (whoever the f*ck they are) - it’s all lower vibrational crap. I’ll say it to myself again because I love to roll this premise in my mind: We inhabit a frequency based vibrational universe where like vibration attracts like vibration. Not only is this a very useful thing for a free-loading pick-up artist to know, but anyone connected to their source - or their essence, or their higher self, or whatever physical word they would use to describe the indescribably magnificent and unlimited non-physical well from which they sprung forth - could not possibly be experiencing anything other than pleasurable and satisfying things. Nothing comes by chance, ever. Not even a freebie.
But I also know this: A powerful transmitter that drifts a little out of tune with itself can make a horrible noise. And a fast flowing curl, or pattern of energy, that slips out of balance - if only slightly - can sometimes get a bumpy ride. But only for as long as it takes to re-direct thought find re-alignment. Now isn’t that nice to know.
Reminds me of that poem by Henry Van Dyke. How did it go?
I hold it true that thoughts are things;
They're endowed with bodies and breath and wings;
And that we send them forth to fill
The world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought
Speeds forth to earth's remotest spot,
Leaving its blessings or its woes
Like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future thought by thought,
For good or ill, yet know it not.
Yet, so the universe was wrought.
Thought is another name for fate;
Choose, then, thy destiny and wait,
For love brings love and hate brings hate.
Time for another long island...cheers

Songsy ... good rant.
Another Bob ... good wordage.
And I'm glad about Dallas. No-one killed and no serious injuries ... how cool is that?
By the way, Bob, what you said in an earlier post was so beautiful ... apart from the other beautiful stuff you said. I also say a prayer (hate that word, suggests supplication, but you know what I mean) for people who do very naughty things. Someone needs to have their back. They don't after all. There is no such thing as irredeemable.
The world is full of people who would cheerfully take a picnic and the kids to a public hanging. But I do have sympathy and understanding for billions of the dull witted and savage. The thing is, they're in a big hate boat together and I'm more inclined to let them worry about themselves. The really distorted are in a lonely personal hell of their own making and they need assistance, even if it's only in my private thoughts and energetic messages. I would give Hitler a cuddle and tell him everything will be okay. I'd slap him, but I'd also give him a cuddle.
Now ... my browser won't let me post pictures ... so if anyone would be good enough to post a good picture of Dark Phoenix from Marvel comics, I would be most grateful. It's kind of a nod to Songsy.

In the spirit of honesty, forthrightness and the possibility of future orgies, I freely admit that there a number of individuals that I am circling, some far less obviously than others. :D Not all of them are male! Not all of them are either male or female! None of them are mineral or vegetable, because that requires no finesse whatsoever: cucumbers are renown for never saying no.
I'm poly, Pan, succubus and incorrigible- I admit that up front, without reservation. I don't bonk strangers, it's boring, and now my ulterior motive for the Pub is uncovered! As fair warning to all- not that I can forsee anyone here at our Club House creating that level of cold fire in me, lol- and just to be clear, that's me holding on a really tight rein, with no swords at all in my hands: that rant is like child's play compared when I get really dedicated to the cause.
I'm really up front about this: I'm passionate, caring, loving, intelligent, sui generis, expansive, honest, lascivious, accepting, highly amused most of the time *and* if some daftie is dumb enough to poke too stupid a virus soaked idea at me, after fair warning Things Will Most Likely Happen. :P
IN other news, I've discovered a new way to get around the Pub- these corridors are getting rather long. What do y'all think?

Yup. It seems that there's the hardcore group, and the soft core lurkers. *grinning* Soft core always needs a 'watch out for the Dark Side!' warning.
I may be a lurker, but soft core would hardly describe me. I was a rock n' roller in another life and never learned how to date. Never had to.:p Dealing with overflow was an occasional occupational hazard. No warnings necessary.
Woo Hoo ... the Wiz iz in dah House :whoo:
Please note we have a mighty nice non-alcoholic beverage section and Songs mixes one helluva Green Smoothie!!! :hungry:

I like the non-alcoholic stuff. Makes me have to be responsible for everything I say. Excuses are for wimps. Everybody is entitled to be an asshole once a day.
Saving up is not allowed and makes for very unwelcome company.
*grins at you over the rim of my glass*
It's always lovely to see individuals come out of the closet. I take it you don't need any warnings about the red chairs, then. :D
I am very much a fan of being responsible for things said- and done. Excuses are indeed for wimps. And perhaps we can deal out arsehole tokens, one a day, so that anyone can preface an arsehole post with a 'tosses arsehole token into the bucket'. *laughing* Like a swear jar! Except that would be utterly redundant in this place, someone would lose an eye with the constant barrage of coins flying through the air...

I hold it true that thoughts are things;
They're endowed with bodies and breath and wings;
And that we send them forth to fill
The world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought
Speeds forth to earth's remotest spot,
Leaving its blessings or its woes
Like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future thought by thought,
For good or ill, yet know it not.
Yet, so the universe was wrought.
Thought is another name for fate;
Choose, then, thy destiny and wait,
For love brings love and hate brings hate.
Time for another long island...cheers
Yummy- you arrive talking of vibration, frequency and pleasure, swirling about one another and calling for like frequency. Mmmm, that's my language- I'm out here dancing, carrying the signal for something way more interesting and it seems there are others who are carrying their own brand of interesting around too. :D

Ooooh, oooh, I know this corset- it has a siphon arrangement whereby the molecules from the torso are sucked up and fed into the boobs! It was popular there for awhile with the re-enactors, but the resultant chronic constipation caused it to slip into obscurity.
I'm too curvaceous for a waist like that, and I like pogosticking and bouncy castle fun way too much for those sort of boobs. :D The boobs do not count as bouncy castles in and of themselves, because I like boobs squishy and without the tendency to explode if handled with enthusiasm.

Well fortunately for us both, mine aren't fake at all- I have enough trouble organising them in an orderly fashion as it is, without adding 'ridiculous' to the mix. I kind of wish I hadn't asked the universe for a level up in boob size, the originals were far less hassle...

Fake? Such garbage. I do not understand men or women who are willing to go that far into make-believe. There might be some rare cases for reconstruction, but elective cosmetic surgery is just repugnant, IMO.
There are times it really seems there are two different species of human on this planet. One based in Nature and the other some plastic, clonish offshoot. Makes being sober painful sometimes. I'll deal with the discomfort.

They don't work as well as they used to. Left brained dominance of our species has made them little more than a well dressed bo. I use mine for weather work. Have had my current one for 22 years. Hand made by another of my kind and it is dear to me. Still, my accoutrements lend a continuity to the tradition and my wand and staff go with me wherever I call home. I'm with you on this one Modwiz,
I really cannot understand the plastic booby thing. To me, they look ridiculous. They're always obviously fake, and I actually find it disturbing that women pay a lot of money for these things. As far as I'm concerned, it is not an enhancement at all. Sure though, if a woman has a valid problem, then of course I'm not saying surgery is a bad thing to do.
Yes, two very different types here on good old planet human. One seems to like orange skinned, plastic boobied, platinum blonde creatures. I'm of the other kind. They look like plastic robots to me. Real women do not come off a production line.

They are fun to play with aren't they? ;)
I'm talking about the real ones. The fake boobs are pretty to look at, but not the right feel to them at all.
Well fortunately for us both, mine aren't fake at all- I have enough trouble organising them in an orderly fashion as it is, without adding 'ridiculous' to the mix. I kind of wish I hadn't asked the universe for a level up in boob size, the originals were far less hassle...
Isn't that the truth! The natural D's often have a mind of their own. I'm pretty petite everywhere else. I usually describe myself as a top heavy hourglass.
I think we might really be getting the boy's attention now Songs. Alas, I need to go earn some cash to pay the bills... I'll be back in a few hours.

If only you hadn't accidentally put 'your' instead of 'yours' you could have come off as a cool wizard. Dammit!
I like you too. A lot of the time. We could both head for the door and make everyone think we're going outside to have a punch up ... then just giggle and place bets on who they think won.
I'm pretty good with a wooden stick too. In Borden world it's called a Bo. Try as I might I can't make it do anything particularly magic though. You'll have to give me tips.
They don't work as well as they used to. Left brained dominance of our species has made them little more than a well dressed bo. I use mine for weather work. Had my current one for 22 years. Hand made by another of my kind and it is dear to me. Still, my accoutrements lend a continuity to the tradition and my wand and staff go with me wherever I call home. The tent for 6 months of a year. Spending half of every year in a tent for the past 3 years has been a very welcome development in my life.
Apologies for rambling. Further apologies for offending your inner pedant.
No apologies necessary. Mine is an outed pedant anyway. Nothing secretive there.
So you weren't kidding about the Bo? That sounds pretty groovy. Mine is only for burglars. The light sabre is too much for a burglar. I have my code. Look at my eyes ... I'm obviously a friendly, cuddly guy.
So, please tell me what you do with the weather. Are you more Gandalf or Radagast?

I am more Radagast, but with Gandalf now in the Undying Lands, there is a vacancy. I occupy a Green-Blue domain. It corresponds with the Thymus and immuno-responsive energy. Grey is a neutral fall back energetic stance of mine. The Brown of Radagast will always be with me and connect me with Nature and the animals. The Green-Blue is a huge part of my profession as a healing facilitator.
Oh yes, weather. Just local stuff, especially living in a tent. Mainly speaking with the various aspects of weather systems. Reminding them of my presence and alliance with them. Trees can fall all around me but my tent will remain unscathed. Such exactness is usually not the case and a general perimeter will exist wherever I am. Less than a handful of times, but there were a few that made me get up, grab my staff, exit my tent and calm things down.
Might be all in my head, (a disclaimer) but it keeps me very safe and those around me feel it. I do get requests that are very amusing.

This is what's so wonderful about the pub. Utterly different kinds can mingle ... we are the super-gods laughing back stage. The conflict is for the uninitiated. If we conflict here ... it is with total understanding that we can play those roles without judgment or hang-up. Those roles are droppable and not melded on like ugly faces. At least, that's how I see it.
This is almost the canteena on Tattooine ... but nowhere near as seedy. I like drinking here. And for the record, I was at the next table, and Greedo shot first.

Songs, Another Bob .. thank you for your words. Songs, there really are some good males at this pub and that signals hope. The energy, the honesty and the love that abounds here is a shining example that lights up galaxies all the way to infinity.
Some of those young uns out there are a worry. The disconnect is real, could not agree more and it is a pervasive, predatory and manipulative matrix that has really raised them, or rather allowed them to reverse prosper.
It saddens me. It smells of fear. But what a challenge! This is the big one.
Maybe a massive, collective, syncronous near death experience is the only way Bob. Everyone gets an epiphany together and comes back with a lovely new lightbulb so they can see how marvellous life can really be.

I have a copy of Gandalf's sword Glamdring. It is over 4 feet long and has a sharp enough point and sufficient blade length to skewer two porkers. Yes, it has the blood groove so that it will not get stuck. Plenty of alternate timeline memory goes with that. My concept of time makes 'past' lives become concurrent, parallel, alternative ones. I would be 'bummed' to have to use one in the 21st century with a whole new consciousness brightening up our DNA. Still, tradition has me keep one around.
If we get in trouble I'll let you use your light saber to remedy the situation. So, as you said, I will not worry.

I get very put off by my fellow three leggers very often as well. Fortunately, as a massage therapist I get some really good guys on my table from time to time. Actually they are almost all good guys, I just see more women than men. Much of my work is bodywork instead of massage. With men it is usually all bodywork. The equation shifts slightly for my gay brothers. The approach to them, because of their polarity can sometimes result in a more hybrid approach. I do have the ability to put people in a coma. If that is what they want.
Dealing with my brothers has been a long time issue for me. They can be so one dimensional. Even the worst of them can stop talking for while though. :p

Hit a squeamish spot for you? No matter the gender it is all legit and therapeutic. There is another profession to attend to people's other 'issues' and it is not mine. The confusion between the two is a point of contention for me as a topic. My sisters in the field often have to deal with it in a more personal way. Farking men, acting like dogs. No, not coward, I just had one of those moments where I realised that what I'd said could be one of those moments like when people ask me about how old my kids are, and I'm not sure what to say about Krystal- do I say how old she'd be now, or how old she was when she died? One of those kind of 'oh, did I just say the wrong thing?' moments.

Ok, I'll talk about it tomorrow when I can write about it coherently. I was writing about it all anyway, just not fast enough for you apparently. :P
*flicks water at you, grinning* pushy bastard.

Never tease a teaser, Songsy ... and pfffffft, I'm not the one going all English all over the place at the drop of a bowler hat. *laughing*

the message I was sending? *laughing* Oh, you are in a f*ucking in public places kind of mood, aren't you!
you're beautiful and shiny and frustrating and annoying and ridiculously cryptic and dramatic and I'm missing the sound of your voice.
you just told the Pub you love me via a musical montage and then tell me to get over my Self when I ask why you did that? *laughing* I'm wondering how horrified you're going to be when you cycle back through to sober.
get on skype or I'm going to sleep. I really can't type any more, but I can talk. I really don't think anyone in the Pub is going to care about you as a Nunak, I think it's going to make total sense to them. Also, just because I've publicly declared I love you in the Pub doesn't mean I'm backing off from being lascivious, just so you know. :P I love you, yes, and I'm poly, so I'm also what could be politely construed as an ethical s*lut. :D *bounce* Besides, my brain moves way too fast for monogamy, as I've discovered- and there's Triffid, so la.
I was fascinated by your conversation with modwiz- have you really studied earth magic? tell me on skype or tell me tomorrow, I'm hurting too much to type.
I've been sending you waves of energy at different times- did you notice or are you too drunk?

Well now you've done it. I can't take you anywhere.
Please tell them I'm a friendly hybrid one, or there'll be pitchforks at dawn. Oh, I can take them all, you know that, but I don't play nice. You also know that.
You're going to have to explain yourself, you do realize that? Anunnaki? Are you serious? Don't be ridiculous. At least we're spelling it right. I'm a nice one. Trust me.
Never trust anyone who says 'trust me'.
(Oh ... just bring it ... any of you. Seriously. If you have questions I have answers, fleshies. Try me.)
