Hi all

Just wondering if anyone has experience of using this device which fits a standard plastic water canteen?. It claims to "Filter up to 1600 Litres of Water! - Equivalent to 12 glasses a day for a year".

Some reviews say that it is fantastic while some others say the system needs too much suck pressure to gain a drink, also that the rubber seal around the cap has to be tightened way too tight to actually gain a good seal.

Comments on other devices for out in the wilds would be greatfully accepted.

Ammit. check out RO system (reverse omosis lots of them used for aquariums) on ebay. if possible get the one with a bottle butt that holds water. and anything from 4 stage upwards is good.
plenty of pure water all day everyday.

I was sold on "Berkey Filters" when a mountain biker filtered water from streams rather than carrying extra weight for refill.

They have different products on the website. I like the "just fill and go" water bottle with a straw. It's leak proof and has a top loop to clip to bike/book bag...
