So I've been playing with the sephirot planetary associations and for years I have used sephirot progression of trinity, chesed, geburah, tiphareth, Netzach, Hod, Yesod and Malkuth. yet when I lay out the planetary associations it seems to me that -- the cosmic energy following the path of least possible resistance -- hod should actually come before netzach.

The implications of which are that initially, with netzach emanating first, the impulse of emotion is actually formed and the understanding around it. If it is reversed it means that everything is formed with the articulated clarity of chesed when forming the initial zodiacal patterns (flower of life) and that the emotional energetic associations form after.
Now of course there's an interplay - but this is in terms of a systems initial formation.
I found a gnostic study that also uses this solar progression and am basically trying to figure out if the old progression was a blind.
Any help is appreciated!
