Ok, firstly. What does this symbol mean?

And lastly, this one. It looks like an "L," however, the horizontal line is slightly curved. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know ...
But I feel it is related to death.
Perhaps they are a cross on a grave and
a scythe to reap the harvest.

Where did you find these symbols? Perhaps they are not actually symbols. Just a thought from my wee itty bitty brain. No offense offered at anyone. :)

Jordan Maxwell, Mark Passio and Michael Tsarion have all done extensive research on symbols. Are you thinking a cross on a baseline has a different meaning from the cross in general?
The cross itself is said to pre-date the Christ story and symbolize the etheric/spiritual descending into/intersecting physical matter.

Not the same but similar -

An alchemical or early chemical sign for sal ammoniacus or ammonium salt.

You might find them else where on that site.

The cross symbol is an interesting symbol because it is used so much. But what does it represent?
The most beautiful explanation I have heard yet goes as follows: Imagine an obelisk where the the two lines intersect. Next imagine a light source like our sun. The short vertical line above the horizontal line is the shadow the obelisk casts at the longest day of the year. The line below the horizontal line is the shadow the obelisk casts at the shortest day of the year.
This idea fits well into the thought that Christianity is likely to be a sun religion. Look for instance at the St. Peter Square at the Vatican and how its obelisk corresponds with the equinoxes.
I hope this helps and I'd like to possibly hear other theories on the cross symbol.

Hey. Thanks for the replies guys. No, I'm not doing a thesis or anything like that. I had dreams about these symbols earlier this month and I was just wondering what they meant. Thanks again.
The first symbol I saw on a McDonalds-like bag in one of my dreams where I was on another Earth-type planet that looked completely white from space...
The "L" symbol I saw in an earlier dream when I looked up at the sky.

Thanks for the info. I checked the link and found the symbol. The likeness is spot on, although it is upside down. I'm amazed that you were able to find it!
