I was going to post this over on the Lighter Side forum, but for some this is a serious subject. For others, what some very creative people (below) have done with it, is hilarious.
On June 14 in Dayton, Ohio during a heavy storm, a huge statue/bust of Jesus outside of the Solid Rock Church, was hit by lightening and totally and completely destroyed. It will be replaced, to the tune of hundreds of thousands and will be made of fire-proof material.
There are those who are wondering what this says about the United States. :target:
