View Full Version : "The Relief Without The Grief of Returning"

Recent shifts of human consciousness, and therefore, the cosmos, is opening the floodgates of indescribable new energy.

The intensity of this new energy isn't always physically or emotionally comfortable as we absorb, meditate and radiate energy for our individual and collective purpose. One thing is certain: These energies cannot be stopped, the pressure for change is building; She is getting ready to blow!

That pressure for "change," along with the fatigue of relentless opposition, made departure from PA a relief by providing rest from the battles, but also, providing the relief by "simply doing something."

We must appreciate that as we gain confidence, knowledge and calm during this very historical period we are discovering that we have no use for many of our previous habits, including a search for so many answers.

Though we miss the posts with the departure of many Avalon members, the symbolism of their departure is in many ways a good sign. Are we not growing in the right ways?

I know many of us will continue to use this forum to further the cause, including communication and relaying information—to PA members and visitors.

Therefore, the purpose of this thread is to inform our friends that we understand why they required the relief of leaving, but also, because we miss them—if and when they are comfortable—we offer them: "The Relief Without The Grief of Returning."

Hi, EG --

I am mostly gone, but do read. Don't offer up any information here anymore. And I am not sure I understand what you are saying.
Can you clarify?

etm567,

Sure, I'll try. For the reasons stated, I believe announcing a departure from PA provided some immediate relief at that moment.

I believe it is important for the remaining PA members not to take that personal, to understand why that happened. By understanding why that happened, perhaps some of us might decide to avoid that same decision. Because, (for some, not all) while it might have provided immediate relief upon hitting the ""Post Reply" button for the resignation, the long term loneliness of departing might now outweigh the old reason for leaving. Hence, perhaps they now require new relief from the old decision—by returning to active membership.

So, in the end (I know my writing above is a bit confusing), I am offering the understanding to departed PA members that we appreciate why they quit; but, because we want them to return, we assure them that we will not give them a difficult time (Grief) if they return. Hence, I am proposing to them we are offering "Relief without Grief" if they choose to return.

This idea came to me as I started to post on another thread this morning. I am hoping, like in your response, other PA members will weigh in on this to provide further insight.
