Certainly seems that the despondency rate in Greece is "snowballing" very rapidly. Article goes on to point out that "another" pharmacist, (female), has promised that "...she would be the next one." Everyone please say a prayer for the people of Greece,...please!

A suicide note found in his coat pocket blamed politicians and financial troubles for driving him to take his life, police said.
Shameless, greedy monsters. I spit on them, and weep for humanity

Things are starting to get quite touchy here in Italy as well.
Many are commititing suicide because they don't know how to make ends meet.
Just today they mentioned a 78 yo woman who threw herself off a 3rd floor terrace because the government withdrew 200 euros from her deceased husband's (he died just one year ago) monthly reversable retirement payment...from 800 euros to 600 euros....
It is just so sad...

This is disgusting. Papademon, the rest of the Greek marionette government and the entire EU should be strung up for liability for suicide.

Furthermore, reading a few of the distasteful comments (could be shills of course), proves that some are very far away from being part of a compassionate "consciousness" to help us all move forward.
Sad.

Seems that things are only getting more despondent in Greece. I'm really afraid this will wind up "spilling over" to many other neighboring countries,.....and we shouldn't be naive to think that the United States could be thrown into "this mix", also! Prayers needed,....."everyone"!!!!

From another thread it appears that Icelanders are rejecting their debt, changing their government and have a nationalised bank. Good example for Greece?
Seems that the EU is on the brink of collapse.

this is very very sad
but courageous, to make one's death a 'political statement' -- more like a cry for freedom

This is such a sad story and I am afraid that as the failure of the E.U. cascades through the rest of the empire this will be quite common. My prayers go out to all of these people that put their hopes, dreams and futures in the hands of criminals.
We have done the same thing with the SAME criminals here in the U.S. and I believe once the E.U. completely goes the way of Greece we are next. These are scary times for these poor people. They have no hope and go to sleep and wake up with despair. They need our prayers indeed.

I am so sorry to hear that, I hear Spain is in the lurch too.
Though horrible to hear I would like to hear more from your people over there. This is for the most part being left out of our media. This is such a big story we need to know what is happening in the U.S. and other countries so we know what is coming in our direction. I feel for you and your people. The last thing Europe needs is this... after all of the wars and crazy political waves that have caused so many deaths of innocent people. It is a shame.
