This is another topic that Dutchsinse has been covering - fracking is causing earthquakes. Recently he pointed out that one was caused very near an ammunition storage facility.

'Remarkable' spate of man-made quakes linked to drilling, USGS team says

A rash of earthquakes in the middle of the country appears to be related to oil and gas drilling, according to a group of researchers at the U.S. Geological Survey...

The surge in temblors is "almost certainly man-made," they found, and all of the potential causes they explore in the paper relate to drilling, or more specifically, deep underground injection of drilling waste.

Casting the quakes as a trend could make it more difficult for oil and gas companies and state regulators to discount the earthquakes related to drilling as rare, isolated events. That, in turn, could provide new ammunition to critics who want stronger regulations, or even a ban on drilling.

Now would seem to be a good time to stop trying to squeeze the very last drop of oil from our planet and start looking for alternative fuels. A good place to start would be the abundant energy that shines on us from the sun everyday, freely.

There is just too much investment and self-interest caught up with the oil and coal industries of the past. Our future has to look elsewhere.

Their plan on solar is to own that infrastructure too. They've been holding solar power back from us to make sure the average person cannot harness it and use it for their personal needs. They want to set it up that any solar power generated even from rooftop installations goes to the power companies and we still have to buy it from them at exorbitant prices.

What we need is affordable individual solar capturing units designed for home use.

I wish I did not agree with you TWINCAMS. That is a very believable scenario.

The documentary at the bottom is very informative if you haven't heard of the term Fracking

Should be banned outright. Causing earthquakes is just one more really bad thing in a huge stack of really bad things.
