Very well written, entertaining and thought provoking....
The series "Awake" can be seen with some commercials on Hulu

"After a car accident takes the life of a family member, homicide detective Michael Britten (Jason Isaacs) lives two alternating parallel lives, one with his wife and one with his son. Is one of his "realities" merely a dream? Michael, and we with him, find ourselves bewildered in an alternate world where almost everything is familiar—except that his wife is alive and it's his son who has died in the accident. There's a psychiatrist counseling him about that loss, but it's a different doctor.
In both realms, Michael tells his shrink that he sleeps, or awakes, and finds himself in a parallel world where either his wife is dead or his son is. In each case, the therapist reassures him that their sessions are taking place in the waking world, while the other realm is the dream. But Michael has no way of knowing which of these doctors is real and which a fantasy. We can't tell either."
