FOX/CNN have been playing this in the last hour and apparently it's confirmed from an "unnamed source" in the Pentagon.

FOX's News Ticker was also stating North Korea have "Just Launched a Long Range Missile" and are frequently using the term "Missile" when describing the actual rocket. It's not clear if they are discussing separate events.

Dont know what to believe anymore, especially if its coming from the NY times and Fox propaganda news machine. But I can only hope the rocket finds its way up the many rectums seated inside our hijacked government. The Imbecile Hillary gets it first. Vaseline is not an option here either. She can utilize Preperation H after the anal rocket enima surgery, i will give her that. What a real pain in the ass this will be for our so called leaders. Cheers, Oh and Bottoms up!

How interesting :-)
This will no doubt be added to the "divine intervention" conversation - I wonder if there is good video of the event? Off to look :-)

I think the US had something to do with it. If the rocket contained a nuclear weapon then that had to cause some damage on the way back down, wherever it landed. I cannot wait for more info to come through.

The rocket was taken out by our benevolent star friends above. Hope this helps.

LOL!! Well apparently - according to FOX/CNN - the debris has come down over the ocean - no-one is any danger.

As for Divine Intervention, TPTW intervention, or just plain bad engineering,... who knows?

Whatever the reason, it's likely that North Korea will blame someone or something in any case. This is hugely embarrassing to the North Korean regime (and somewhat synchronistically symbolic considering it's meant to be a celebration/100 year anniversary of the earlier Kim dynasty)

This just made the UK main stream news on BBC radio two, the news report kept using the term "missile" while the north Koreans were saying it was a rocket carrying a satellite. The "missile" then "exploded"

Things are certainly hotting up and I find it amazing that this news was reported in such a matter of fact way in between a story of the rich avoiding tax and the sport.

*Post edit*
as the news is repeated every half hour, the "missile" is now being described as a "rocket"

U.S. Experts Confirm: North Korea is Launching a Satellite, Not a Missile

April 11, 2012 • 6:46AM

Reporting Tuesday from North Korea's launch site at Tongchang-ri, on the country's west coast, renowned space analyst and 20-year NASA veteran, Jim Oberg concluded that this is not a test of an ICBM, but the attempt to orbit a satellite, as the North Koreans have insisted. The Unha-3 launch vehicle that they are using for this launch, he said, has not "technically been weaponized." Oberg is part of a delegation sent to North Korea by MSNBC, which has film footage of the trip on its website.

In a remarkable demonstration of "transparency," the North Koreans took international journalists to the launch site, where they stood within feet of the Kwangmyonsong (Bright Shining Star) satellite, which weighs about 220 pounds, and will soon be mated to the rocket for launch. As Oberg observed, until now, no one even knew if there really were a satellite. The reporters were taken to the launch pad, and allowed to photograph the rocket, which is fully assembled, and is just waiting to be fueled. So the North Koreans, until now unable to convince the world of their intention, have let the international press do it for them.

In a briefing for reporters in Pyongyang, the deputy director of the space development department of the Committee on Space Technology, Ryu Kum-choi, insisted that the rocket posed no danger to countries in the region. "We've chosen a safe trajectory," he said. "The first stage will fall 100 miles from land [the Philippines] and the second stage, 120 miles from land." But if the rocket veers off course, ground control will initiate a "self destruct," he said.

The real "nightmare," Oberg stated, is that if the launch fails, it is not far-fetched that the North Koreans would blame it on "enemy action;" this, "considering all the anti-missile systems being deployed along the rocket's track..."

Oberg concludes that "the North Koreans are taking a chance, and so deserve credit if the project succeeds. If the satellite works as advertised, their neighbors will owe them a rethinking of attitudes."

The reaction from the world's most arrogant executive office came within hours. U.S. National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor told reporters today that "you don't have to be a rocket scientist [!] to know this is propaganda." He advised the North Koreans that they don't have to launch a weather satellite, they can just "go to weather.com."

After North Korea Rocket Launch has failed
India says long-range missile test was a success

"But the home-grown missile will undergo several tests
more before it becomes fully operational, he said."

Multiple Intelligence Agencies confirmed publicly it wasn't a Satellite but actually an Dummy Head Missile (the North Korean One). That report above is inaccurate.

Wouldn't surprise me D.I.D ... Nth Korea & MSM are being very quiet about it ... Wonder if Drake's Angels had something to do with it? ;)

Well certainly someone's angels/ets did. ;) but then literally everyone had their "weapons" pointed at that thing. Even a square thingy which is an indication of Russian Scalar tech, was seen in several of the videos put up on you tube of the missile. So that thing was destined to be shot down one way or another, it just was a matter of who got to it first. It could have been shot off the launcher by US Navy, like the last 2 or 3 were but they wanted to wait from what I heard to not risk NK figuring out the game. Plus it's good for NK's ego to let them at least manage to "launch" one and once it was over international waters, it was anyone's.
