Hey just thought I'd put this up, I know alot of this kind of thing has been happening all over the world, well I knew theoretically but have never witnessed the phenomena myself...Lastnight my 20yr old brother (who, trust me, has/had no interest in UFO phenomena or anything of the sort, infact believes/believed we all need locked up,lol!
) text me to say he thinks he'd just witnessed two UFO's: he took the dog out for a pee lastnight when he saw 2 lights in the sky over Northfield, Aberdeen (UK) which suddenly just shot vertically up higher into the sky at breakneck speed (he said he'd never seen anything move so fast) and then just disappear. Today he has contacted me to tell me that the police now have the large field at the back of my mother's house cordoned off (the field is below where he saw the lights), no one is allowed in. Apparently the reason is because 'someone was assaulted' (rumour going around though as yet have seen nothing on the local news etc)...the police are apparently still there and have been all day. They called at my mum's door this afterno9on and asked her if she'd 'heard anything strange.', she said no and asked them were they there for any serious reason and the policewoman just replied 'well it's serious enough for us to be here anyway.' ... oh aye, before I forget, my brother and mum both report that there have been between 5 and 7 'forensics type people' who have been trailing back and forth in the field all day (exactly like when forensics do when they search a crime scene) BUT they were not wearing the regulation white suits etc, but were dressed in black clothing (note: NOT suits, like MIB or anything like that...) Ummm...I don't really know what I hoped to gain by posting this here...has anyone any advice, or info or anything to add? (Unfortunately my brother didn't get a video of the lights as he hadn't a phone with him, but he's taken some footage and pics of the police and 'forensics team' in the field, which I'm just waiting for him to send me...
Any thoughts?? Thankyou all :smokin:

Maybe there is a crop circle in that field?

I would say your brother should report what he saw last night, And just see how much interest the police have in his story. He could just walk up to one of the police and say. Hey i saw a strange light or something, there may be no connection between what your brother saw and the police in the field.

keep us informed

No I don't think so, the field is a playing field and if there was you would be able to see it from the upstairs bedroom windows :)
Maybe there is a crop circle in that field?

Hi Willow, I lived in Northfield as a wee boy and seen a UFO hover and land in a field just behind Davidson Place. I was five at the time and can remember it clear as day as if it were only yesterday.
The Press & Journal (local newspaper at the time) had managed to get a black and white picture of this object and It made front page news. I suspect a local must have had a camera at hand as it had been and gone within minutes.
It said it could not have been an aircraft from Dyce airport as it landed in the middle of a ploughed field.
It was bright orange in colour and drifted noiselessly through the sky and eventually just landed in the middle of the field.
After it landed the orange light seemed to alternate or flash for a while and then up and off it disappeared into the sky.
Please keep us all updated on your story if any new news develops.
Blessings
Russ

P.S...forgot to say: he said he 'heard a noise kind of like an aeroplane overhead'...which isn't strange in itself as it's close to Aberdeen airport...that's what caused him to look in the first place. But he said the 'aeroplane sound' disappeared when the lights did.
