View Full Version : Tin-foil-hat parties - Perhaps a fun way to wake people up?

I was thinking about the idea of spreading awareness to some of my friends who are still "plugged into the matrix". What we need is something fun that might diffuse the tension and fear that can come with subjects such as the ones we see on this website.
Then it hit me. I could host a tin-foil-hat party.
It would be pretty simple, lure people in with beverages and food, typical party fare. We could wear tin foil hats to add a fun lighthearted flair to it, hell we could even hold a contest for the coolest hat worn to the party, and offer a prize! Then, during the party you could show videos on some of these subjects, maybe something like Zeitgeist...Or perhaps something more lighthearted and easier to digest like SpiritScience. You could also use the event as a way to bring up the Drake topic as well, that way if something does happen, it's a few less people who are caught way off guard.
If nothing else, it would be a fun get-together. People might leave the party still plugged in, but the seeds of change will have been planted.
What do you guys think? Would this be a good idea?

I love it bekrah, minus The Drake plug that is. A tin foil hat making contest...Beautiful!!!What a way to lighten things up, while actually swimming in very serious waters. You could even have David Icke, Castaneda, etc. type books just conveniently laying around here and there. Or some Jordan Maxwell "Did you knows?".
I think one major misconception people have about us is that we're all doom and gloom, so why don't we just end it and get it over with if things are really so aweful. Your silly party idea would be the perfect atmosphere to dispell that notion. I would wait til just the right moment, then chime in with something like: "If you think THEY'RE all powerful, wait until you see what WE are capable of. They are actually doing us a favor by forcing our hand to remember this".
Then just drop it and see who's ready for another beer.

Re: Tin-foil-hat parties - Perhaps a fun way to wake people up?
Hi Fred Steeves!
Perhaps we could have some bottles of MMS & DMSO somewhere too (Maybe a display of SEVERAL bottles in the bathroom!) and have Humble recite
"Dangerous Dan McGrew" at some point. (That sticks in the mind for a while;-)!
Back to the party theme: Last night I was watching some of those hilariously funny cat movies...so I'm thinking a well-edited clip leading up to a finale of a bunch
of cats in tin-foil-hats (start the cameras rolling) might serve the memory well as far as newbies to our party would be concerned! I think the idea here is to meet
people where they are and take things to the next level.

I like it! I was thinking it might be cool to put together a DVD that has a bunch of this stuff on it already people could take it home and watch it too.

That Rocks! :thumb: Love the picture...I should make a hat for my cat Tesla LOL, he would be so pissed, much too undignified for him.
A quick update while I'm at it. Got a lot of people very interested in this idea, and learning some conspiracy stuff. I think it's going to be a lot of fun, super excited!

Here, here! I have been trying to conjure up different ways to get through to people for so long! It seems i come across the types that have programming fighting for it's life! I will most definitely try this method! Of course, they can't really argue with the logic that i bring anyways, & i usually have enormous amounts of evidence to prove all my points! This is very refreshing! Much gratitude! Wil let you know the outcome! Love foreverfan's pic! Hysterical!

Thank you, glad you liked the idea and glad to see you are going to try it out. Let me know how it goes! Foreverfan's pic cracked me up as well. That looks kind of like my cat actually... weird.

This is truly a clever idea! How creative! I should try to video record it! I have a relic camera though, but will try and find a way somehow! LOL! Love how you named your cat Tesla! It's perfect! My cat actually likes tinfoil balls to bat around and it's quite funny! We should all post our cats and/or any other animals in tinfoil hats! Btw, cool avatar pic!

Thanks...it just came to me out of the blue yesterday (this morning. I never sleep lol), and I thought, that would be so FUN! You should totally video tape it, I'll do the same, we could start a forum where we all share our results . Yeah, Tesla is a fitting name for my cat...he's kind of an evil genius, if he had thumbs, he'd be making a death ray. I like your idea for the pet pictures, I'm down!

Good thinking bekrah!
Party favors as REinforcemet! A double dose that would be even better than watching the energizer bunny on tv!
I thought I wrote you a post yesterday telling you how Waaaay Cool I thought your idea was, but I must not have pushed the button.
Anyway, count me in as your Cheerleader! I see I'm not the only one either. A GOOD PARTY is a form of LOVE you know!

Hey Conk!
Whatever works! ....Plan B + Confusion + a little Mystery equals a very good formula for success, I'd say;-) M6*

Hi Turcurulin!
Take still shots and turn them into a slide show if you have to.
A sort of progression...for example.... starting with cats, then adding other animals would build on the theme.

Hi bekrah
If you want to pm me I will give you my email address.
I have another idea, but need to run it by the party chairlady first!
Sometimes it takes more than one person to control exuberance you know! :-) M6*
