Avalonians,
Most of you would agree that the TV is a vast wasteland that's the prime means of the brainwashing of the masses, and I agree with that as well; however, there are some really amazing programs that are now on TV, so what I like to do is to record them, then to watch them, zipping through the blasted, bugger commercials, which not only saves me time, it saves me the aggravation of sitting there with the sound off, the TV screen minimized and with my eyes closed, opening them once in a while to check to see if the show has come back on.
I've not watched TV for years, so when I started to watch it again when I recently moved to live with my ex-GF, I automatically used the tricks of the TV-watching trade that I used years ago in my watching TV while skipping around the commercials -- and it was only the nature shows, the storm-chasing shows and other useful TV shows that I liked to watch. No sit-coms whatsoever, nor any other stupid programming.
So I was watching American Idol -- yea, I know, it's programming, but it's the music that I like (I hate the intense flashing of the stage lights, though!) -- and I happened to watch the pilot show, Touch, that immediately followed the Thursday elimination night of American Idol on Fox.
I was stunned with that show, Touch.

So now I've watched every single episode and it keeps on getting better and better. It's loaded with numbers, sequences, synchronicities, spirituality and other wonderful things. ON TV! Wow.
This show is highly recommended!
http://www.fox.com/touch/
And to have this Touch show not only on FOX, but to follow the #1 show in America, American Idol? Somebody up there in FOX is pulling some strings! For the good, for a change!
And if you have a subscription to Hulu, you'd be able to get all the shows from the get-go.
