Another very important aspect is taxes: governments make a lot of money taxing alcohol and legal drugs. Marijuana is not that easy to tax and control. So yes follow the money is spot on.

it's interesting to me that the term 'draconian' is often used w/ 'drug laws' -- i think this was first used re the Rockefeller drug laws in NY State USA , which are racist & aimed at African-Americans

The "war on drugs" is a multi-trillion dollar per year criminal conspiracy.

The conspirators and beneficiaries include the petroleum, chemical (from petroleum), paper (from trees), cotton, and pharmaceutical industries, electricity (from nuclear power and "fossil fuels"), law enforcement, judiciary and corporate prisons, military industrial complex, even governments around the world who are "yes men" to the US Federal government and UN in return for foreign aid and corrupt payments for maintaining the status quo - and of course, the bankers who finance all of the above.

According to the FDA's own statistics, far more people die from legal pharmaceutical drugs every year than have died from illegal drugs in all of recorded history. The grand total number of people who have died from marijuana overdose since prohibition began in 1937 is ZERO!!!

My son, who is 28 now, had some serious issues with drug-induced psychosis. Both alcohol and marijuana, separately or in combination, are (or were) potent triggers for my son's psychosis. I have wrestled with this constantly for about 13 years. It has caused my son and my extended family enormous angst.

The medical/psychiatric/psychology community only re-inforced all of the brainwashing that has continued since the mid-1930s. Nothing they did helped my son and they took a lot of money for doing nothing useful. The few of them who know the truth are still bound by the law - and they hate that but none of them are willing to risk their licence to practice.

Fortunately, this year has seen a dramatic change in my son's life. He still drinks alcohol and smokes marijuana (both less than before) but they no longer trigger his psychosis. How could this be?

Recently, I was reading about the side-effects of asthma medication - in particular, the three main medications that my son has used most of his life: Flixotide (preventer), Ventolin (broncho-dilator) and Prednisolone (a steroid/anti-inflammatory). ALL THREE of these medications have manufacturer-documented side effects that include psychosis, sleep disturbance (including somnolence or insomnia), muscle spasms and more - my son suffered all of these since his early teens.

Shortly before learning about the nasty side-effects of asthma medication, I learned that hemp seed oil is a potent anti-inflammatory (not to mention the many other nutritional and health benefits), superior to fish oil and far safer than steroids and other pharmaceutical anti-inflammatory medication. Afterall, asthma is an inflammatory disease.

My son, a chronic asthmatic, was very inconsistent with his use of preventer medication. Consequently, he suffered far more asthma than he may otherwise have suffered. He routinely massively over-used his Ventolin (far more than 10 times the recommended/prescribed dosage). That in itself was always a major concern but he would not listen to any advice. In fact, he would often do the opposite of what he was advised.

I alerted my son to the information I found about the side-effects of all of his asthma medication. A few days earlier, a doctor told him "that Ventolin is going to kill you if you continue using it the way you do".

My son has now conquered his psychosis. His use of pharmaceutical poisons has decreased by at least 90%, his asthma is under control and his overall health has improved dramatically.

Virtually all pharmaceuticals (chemical drugs made in laboratories) have long lists of nasty and potentially deadly side-effects, yet we are rarely, if ever, warned about the side-effects.

In summary, beware of your lifetime of brainwashing. Beware of your opinions and long-held beliefs. Be willing to un-learn everything you have been told. The war on drugs is a massive mind-control exercise. They tell us what to think and believe. Most of what they tell us is lies to protect their profits.

If the rank and file in these unions knew where their funds went they can stop this insanity by voting their corrupt leadership out also. These lobbies can be put out of business also. Ask union members if they know where their money goes and if they want to stay healthy. Show valor and speak out on this issue. IMHO

Exactly, follow the money! Where do people think the money comes from to fund covert CIA/NSA operations, to build, operate and maintain D.U.M.B.s and other clandestine facilities, etc. For decades Area 51 wasn't even acknowledged to exist by the government. Why aren't any of those MSM hard-hitting "investigative journalists" (alleged to be our "watchdogs") asking questions like; where did the money come from to build Area 51? I mean, the GAO couldn't very well show the expenditures for these types of things if they deny their very existence now can they? Oh, that's right our "watchdogs" are all too busy covering the really big stories; like what's the latest lowdown on Lindsay Lohan, Charlie Sheen, Deion Sanders, etc.

We're talking many billions, probably trillions, of dollars to fund these things that aren't coming from the taxpayers. Do people think they get these things done by charitable donations or that the government is doing it all out of the goodness of its heart? Man, what does it take to wake people up? Question everything! You may not get an answer, or at least a truthful answer, but it becomes pretty evident after one hears enough lame explanations who is lying.
