What do you know about Blackwater (aka XE/Paravant)

Here's an opportunity to post any material or info you have about the notorious Blackwater/XE/Paravant mercenaries.

For those who haven't heard about them, they were parodied in the series "Jericho" and called "Ravenwood", perhaps as a wink to either Raiders of the Lost Ark, or to one of the original members of the mysterious Majestic 12....or was that Forrestal?

My two cents, Blackwater is directly involved in the harrassment of Targeted individuals.

Just like for thousands of years, there have been highly trained soldiers that after doing their time in the Military (Usually singled out because they are especially brutal) discover that former soldiers with no moral's AT ALL can make big big big $ as Merc's... They just have to be willing to do all of the atrocities that the normal U.S. Soldier WILL NOT do.

You do not want to know much more than that about them unless you have a strong stomach. Merc's do all the extremely dirty work and are well paid for it. Sociopaths can become very wealthy in that business.

The scary thing is this is the group that WE DO know about. Some of these corporate armies have had no press at all and are complete spooks.

I cannot verify the truth of this, but will state that I met someone who claimed they were with blackwater and was sent to New Orleans to keep the "peace". That they shot individuals looting and put marks on their rifles for each kill. He claimed no remorse and that her personally shot over a hundred people. I have heard other similar stories, but this is the only one I heard from someone actually claiming to be with the group. He did not speak of it publicly, but told me about it in skype one day when we were discussing the breakdown of order and protecting ourselves or fellow citizens.

You are right, they WERE there. What also stinks is when "THEY" decide to put these guys in U.S. Army (Usually) Military Uniforms and do these kinds of things... If a regular soldier cannot tell the difference how can a citizen? They use these dirty tricks all the time.

People try to call this a R wing controlled group, but the board members are big players from both parites... Rep/Dem's are two heads of the SAME monster and they play us off of eachother. These private armies are one of the bigest threats to us as Civilians... They are beholding to no one and are very scary people to run into at your local VFW Bar or local hangout when they are off duty.

Thanks for this video, it is a great answer to the OP's question in starting this thread. I wish there was one that was a little less political... people get so caught up in this political sham that we call OUT government. They do not represent any of our interests. The part of the video on how much we spend of our tax money on them makes me sick... that is money coming out of MY paycheck.
