New French President Wants To End The Dollar Era, Will Clash With US

The just elected president of france is destined to clash with the US and wants to end the era of the US dollar rule of global markets.
Francois Hollande has defeated Nicolas Sarkozy in the French presidential runoff, making him the latest EU leader to be swept aside by the crippling debt crisis. Among the first steps the President-elect is planning, is to push back against German-led austerity measures. Chancellor Angela Merkel has already invited Hollande to Berlin for talks.

Asia Times roving correspondent, Pepe Escobar, says clashes over Hollande’s foreign policy are expected both in Europe and overseas.

Hey mate,

I donīt think France would be allowed to join us.

The BRICS are an attempt, made by the most powerful but not yet considered developed countries, to escape the political and economical tyranny of the so called developed countries.

Sincerely, France has nothing to give us besides a status which is rapidly decreasing.

Have you noticed that actual physical size of the BRICS countries? This didnīt happen by chance.

Weīre a group of HUGE countries which have the potential to supply each other with all natural resources needed to overcome any financial/economical disaster.

The BRICS is a strategic masterpiece, if it works like it is supposed to.

Cheers,

Raf.

Yes, so it would be rather absurd to have France join BRICS since it is one of the so-called developed countries and one of the previous countries that colonised and helped itself to the resources of many countries!!

YUP, saying they are really really sorry might not do the trick for them to join BRICS.

YUP, saying they are really really sorry might not do the trick for them to join BRICS.

Practically, it is about having different problems, priorities and different world views. (I heard a saying once that those who cannot forgive the past will be destined to re-live it, and another I heard was don't say you are sorry, just don't do it again!)

All over the world we seem to have the same problems of those in government wasting and stealing money (bribery, corruption and outright incompetence) and we are all sick of it, but I think that we should not apply a global solution but a local one. We vote for government officials, or for the government that appoints them, (at every level) so we should hold them accountable.
