View Full Version : Illuminated "winged beings".

About 20 years ago, during a difficult time in my life, I experienced a series of sitings that I am still unsure about.
It was early spring, and I was sitting on my deck. I saw a triangular formation of lights move across a portion of the sky and then disappear. Seconds later, I saw the same thing.
Over the next several hours I saw various anomalous lights zipping about in the sky. Lights that brightened and then disappeared. Lights that streaked brightly and then faded.
I thought at that time I might be observing ET ufos, so I decided to stay up on Saturday way past bedtime.
For several hours I observed similar light phenomena, just enough to keep me sitting on my deck until about 3 in the morning.
And then I saw something quite different. It appeared as an illuminated bird-like creature, clearly flying using wings. It didn't look like a solid body. It looked like what I imagine a ghost would look like. Illuminated but not physical.
Over the next several months I saw this being, and sometimes more than one of them a number of times.
I also saw light orbs zipping across the sky in impossible ballets. And much more.
Once, I had to go to the big city for a conference, and hoping to avoid a traffic jam, I drove very early. Getting out of the car at maybe 5:30, I looked up and saw 2 of the illuminated birds.
I'm hoping the illuminated non-physical being that I saw was a benevolent guide reassuring me during a difficult time in my life. I'm hoping that the flyer wasn't an archontic agent.

Well, my friend.
I can say with clear certainty that we are not alone in this universe. I too have seen spooks and phantoms of many a kind.
The disparity between individuals insofar as being able to or having seen these entities is probably due to the phenomenon of vibrational overlap - the idea that different people are capable of perceiving (or being within) differing levels of vibration and that some of these occurrences or entities exist beyond the scope of what many people CAN perceive. But not all of us :-). This is why some individuals are very difficult for others to perceive in terms of the visibility of their identity and manner of being. I suspect that this too will change in time.
There is nothing to be afraid of (but fear itself). We are incredibly powerful beings and need only extend our trust and esteem to make contact with the emissaries of other and altered vibration.

Rantaak, thank you for such clear language to explain what's in my brain.
Midnight, not that I wish to pry, but have you had any recent sightings or any other changes in perceptions of what's around you?

GoingOn, I spent a lot of time sitting outside peering at the night sky for about 6 months after my initial siting. I saw them many nights. I felt sure they had access to my thoughts, and that they were putting on a show for me.
But after 6 months, I decided it was time to stop looking for them. I knew they were there, still there.
Ten or so years later, it occurred to me that I would go outside at night one more time to see if they would appear for me. They made a brief appearance.
Recently, I had a lengthy private internet conversation with a woman who described a similar experience to mine, only she had a much closer siting than I ever had.
GoingOn, have you had an experience that might cast some light on what the beings I saw might be? Were they angels or spirit guides or non-physical ets, or ??? I think they were benevolent in nature because they appeared during a very unpleasant time in my life. I think they were showing me that a higher spiritual realm exists. But I'm not sure this is true. Can you say more about "what's in my (your) brain"?
midnight, you *must* read 'the mothman prophecies' by john keel.
he proposes a unified paranormal theory, which basically connects things like ufo's and aliens to other anomalous stuff like winged creatures and men in black. your sighting was almost textbook.
have you had any men in black experiences since the sighting? strange phone calls?

Before I give my answer, please accept that the older I get, the more difficulty I have with definitions. Definitions seem to be very personal things. Plus I am not particularly well educated (in anything!) :)
With that in mind, it does seem as though these beings brought you some much needed comfort. Further, I think you showed significant awareness by not making a ritual out of looking for them. My (limited) experiences lead me to view malevolent forces as beings that crave and demand attention, preferably rituals. Especially rituals.
I think there are visual/auditory/vibration levels beyond the standard range of human vision (ultra violet and infrared come to mind). And is it possible that some of us see beyond the standard range of human vision, perhaps into other dimensions or timelines? I think that's possible, in part because I think other dimensions and timelines may exist.
And it sounds like a generally cool experience for you. That's what's in my brain, at this point in time/space. Hope this helps, even a little bit :)

GoingOn, good reply! Yes, I also believe other dimensions exist, and that the beings that I saw were appearing in our current dimension, by manifesting an illuminated shape. I believe they could have appeared as an illuminated car or an illuminated house if they had chosen to.
My twin sister, an angel in human form, during the night saw a diffuse, illuminated vision of her daughter's mother-in-law moments after she died. She saw her daughter's mother-in-law appearing before her bed, radiating a loving smile. It was clearly not a sharp-edged human entity but a spiritual being appearing as a diffuse image for my sister, stuck here in the physical dimension. The illuminated "bird" creatures i saw were similarly diffuse and "ghost-like".
Chinaski, the mothman suggestion is interesting, but the accounts of mothman describe a physical being, not to say that mothman was physical. It just looked physical, and it seems to have behaved in a manner that scared the humans that saw it. My "illuminated birds" never behaved in a scary way. And they had that non-physical ghostly appearance.
I still lean towards believing it was guides that I will once again say, "So that was you!"

Hi Midnight
On page 107 of his book 'The Matrix Revealed' (book 2), Truman Cash has his wife J. explaining her recalls from abductions with winged (not flying) beings (Chapter : 'Angels among us').

Any point of comparison with your experience ?
