Hi all,

I opened my mail and suddenly I stumbled upon a message someone had send me.
It's about one way of the many ways of learning to reach ascension.
Eric Pepin is the founder and I wonder if someone hear this name before, know something of this knowledge or the website: http://www.higherbalance.com
Despite of personal reasons I do not totally agree with everything they write on their website, I must admit it is a well done formulated information in my opinion..
Further more, here are the quote's:

It's not meditation. It's not astral projection or telepathy or the
ability to see auras...

On your path to enlightenment and reaching god-consciousness,
there is one skill above all others that you MUST develop. In fact,
if you are able to Master this skill, you will reach enlightenment
with it alone...

So what is it?

Surrender.

No, I'm not talking about waving the white flag. Or letting
everyone walk all over you. Or accepting defeat.

The kind of surrender I'm talking about gives you Power and
Strength, not weakness.

The kind of surrender I'm talking about is surrendering and
giving yourself over to the Universe. To fully accept death.

This doesn't mean that by surrendering you will die. The opposite
is true. When you are able to surrender, you will live a richer life
and finally allow the Universe to flow and work through you...

http://nl.higherbalance.com/surrender-1

On this journey, you feel compelled to seek out the Universe and
to awaken. And yet, allowing the Universe to work through is is
a struggle and constantly elusive....

Surrender is the skill you have been missing.

As you practice surrender, start out with the small issues and hurts
in your life. And remember that surrender is a process, it won't
happen over night. With practice on the small issues, you will find
that the work you have done is actually the big work and you are
well on your way to mastery.

I look forward to hearing about your surrender experiences!

Or as Dr. David Hawkins says, just give it all over to god. Do not be attached. Do not resist. Release all fear, doubt, and struggle. Suffering will follow them out the door.

Chrononaut, I do think this is one element most people forget to consider . . . or perhaps they just don't realize the value of it.

Thank you very much for posting this important reminder. :)

Ah! surrender!! Possibly the most difficult one of all spiritual disciplines! And, the vital action of it all. The willingness to jump off the cliff into the unknown! Not caring if you live or die! Telling the ego self that's warning you endlessly against this step, to shut the **** up and doing it anyway!! It's often at the point of desperation when the thought of staying in the doubt and fear of how it has always been is just not an option!! It's the point where jumping into the unknown is better than the crap of the known!! And the surprise is you didn't die!! In fact you are quite buoyant, bobbing about in this new reality! It's safe and comfortable and there's lots of new energy.

About a month ago, I had an insight, that led immediately to another insight ... that led to another...
and before I knew it, the ego totally collapsed and I experienced something like enlightenment for a day. I don't know what happened exactly or how to name it, but there was a tremendous amount of freedom. Everything that keeps one in the ego was gone, all the little thinking and 'identifying with', was vanished. I felt as free as a bird or more.

It's true that I was pretty much indifferent about physical death then, or I 'understood' that there was no such thing as death (not as a intellectual concept, but as a 'knowing').
Later that day I began analysing what was going on and slowly in the following days, life returned to normal. The ego took control again.

Thanks for this reminder about surrender.
I will keep this at heart from now on.

In this "Flow", everything just 'works out'. This letting go is amazing. It's a matter of keeping doing it, of staying in that space, that frequency.

Dear Chrononaut, Thank you for this wonderful topic. I have not seen your links yet. However, for me, until we surrender to what is, we remain trapped in our judgment and this world of duality. Surrendering is something I am trying to remember on a daily basis. I have found over the years this is my only way to peace.

Two wonderful teachers that have help me to see the value of surrender and how to apply it are, Bryon Katie "Loving What IS" and Eckhart Tolle, "Power of Now" and "A New Earth".

What surrender means to me, is stopping the inner NO! For example, when we don't like what we are experiencing. We have an inner rejection to what is happening. I feel like I have lived much of my life in a place of constant tension because I was internally struggling against the things I saw in the world I didn't agree with. I feel this struggle is the source of all of my health conditions. On a much grander scale, I do believe this inner no is the source of our fall from grace. Fighting against what we see out there.... rather than surrendering to life, (the inner path). Just as the butterfly surrenders to the cocoon when we surrender to what is, we transcend it.

Being on a spiritual quest for many years I would read great books and grasp the teachings but I held onto my inner NO. In my mind there were many situations in my life and the world that were just wrong! When something would happen to me that I didn't want to experience I would stew on it. Reliving stuff over and over again in my mind and hone my skills of pointing my thought at what the problem is. This focus of mine only brought about years of pain. It seems even though I was growing in my spiritual journey I was experiencing some heavy negativity in my life. It was during a tough night of feeling very victimized that I stopped resisting and let my inner screaming fall away. All became peace... I could feel the oneness of all and for the first time I really understood the phrase "what you think about you bring about". My years of looking with my mind at what I believed were the problems in my life only seemed to perpetuate my experience of it. "Could my attention to the problem really be the cause of the pain I was seeing in my world?"

Surrendering to what is... is how I have had every transcendent experience in my life. By dropping all judgment good/bad, right/wrong, etc... and just being in the experience everything seems to expand and peace remains. Getting to this place has been a struggle and I continue on a daily basis to have to redirect, redirect, redirect my thoughts to allowing what is, without attaching myself to it. When I can do this it is like the bigger picture is realized, I am part of everything, we are all one... When I fight within I am like a cancer cell in a body causing pain in the being of humanity. From this perspective all the grand teachings seem to make sense. In a state of surrender, Loving all humanity is so easy! We are all one and we have not known it. We have spent lifetime after lifetime struggling against what we believe is out there.... But we can lay the struggle down. It has served us in so many ways. The lessons gained on this journey of duality are blessings I believe we won't truly grasp until we evolve. In my opinion surrendering is how we get there.

Had your text be but a little shorter, I would seriously consider to have it tattooed on the palm of my hand.

I came up with a phrase the other day that's been stuck in my head since, and I think it's quite apt for this discussion.

"The path of least resistance is the hardest one to follow"

thanks brother!

Wakytweaky: LOVE IT! Yes, it's so much easier said than done. But at least we can recognize when things are going rough where we can point the finger of judgment.;) I love the phrase... Choose once again!

I love your picture! So, beautiful!

Surrender has another word, it is called "Faith".

Faith is an inner knowing that everything is as it should be and there is no reason to fear anything, and to know that you are always loved and never alone.

I lost my faith for around 10 years, you will all be pleased to know I have found it once more, I have learnt to surrender again.
