On my research I found this article
http://informahealthcare.com/doi/abs/10.1080/09553000802348203
Conclusion: This is the first study to report that ELF-MF exposure generates oxidatively induced DNA base modifications which are mutagenic in mammalian cells, such as FapyGua, FapyAde and 8-OH-Gua, in vivo. This may explain previous studies showing DNA damage and genomic instability. These findings support the hypothesis that chronic exposure to 50-Hz MF may be potentially genotoxic. However, the intensity of ELF-MF has an important influence on the extent of DNA damage.
And here some information about ULF ELF and HAARP

Put the two together and it is not difficult to conclude that we are suffering possible DNA damage because we are being exposed lo low frequencies
Food for thought!

Interesting! Thanks.
The article at the bottom of the page is also interesting: http://informahealthcare.com/doi/abs/10.1080/10715760500043603
Extremely low frequency (ELF) electromagnetic field (EMF) is thought to prolong the life of free radicals and can act as a promoter or co-promoter of cancer. 8-hydroxy-2′-deoxyguanosine (8OHdG) is one of the predominant forms of radical-induced lesions to DNA and is a potential tool to asses the cancer risk. We examined the effects of extremely low frequency electro magnetic field (ELF-EMF) (50Hz, 0.97mT) on 8OHdG levels in DNA and thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) in plasma. To examine the possible time-dependent changes resulting from magnetic field, 8OHdG and TBARS were quantitated at 50 and 100 days. Our results showed that the exposure to ELF-EMF induced oxidative DNA damage and lipid peroxidation (LPO). The 8OHdG levels of exposed group (4.39±0.88 and 5.29±1.16 8OHdG/dG.105, respectively) were significantly higher than sham group at 50 and 100 days (3.02±0.63 and 3.46±0.38 8OHdG/dG.105) (p<0.001, p<0.001). The higher TBARS levels were also detected in the exposure group both on 50 and 100 days (p<0.001, p<0.001). In addition, the extent of DNA damage and LPO would depend on the exposure time (p<0.05 and p<0.05). Our data may have important implications for the long-term exposure to ELF-EMF which may cause oxidative DNA damage.
Which sums up to.... causing cancer. (sad...sad...sad)
Here's something else in line with this: http://informahealthcare.com/doi/abs/10.1080/09553000802195323
Purpose: To develop the hypothesis that magnetic nanoparticles, found in many organisms and often involved in biological reactions to weak electromagnetic fields (EMF), mediate EMF-induced DNA damage which could result in increased risk of childhood leukaemia and other cancers.
Conclusions: The postulated presence of magnetic nanoparticles located in hematopoietic stem cells could constitute a cancer risk factor. Superparamagnetic nanoparticles can possibly mediate increased level of leukaemia caused by background exposure to low-frequency weak EMF.

50hz is used in Europe for standard mains electricity. That means we are surrounded by that frequency while at home, at an office or any other building...
EDIT:
I doubt the intensity of the EM fields inside houses is too high but it might be a good idea to unplug or turn off at the plug point as many electrical devices as possible, when they are not used. I've read somewhere that this could noticeably reduce the electricity bill since electrical devices tend to consume some electricity even while powered down (not much but some).

Anyone heard of this? Bio-electric patterns of the body, hemisphere's of the brain being disconnected from cell phone scalar

and EMP/ELF?GWEN Low frequencies and from the way newer cellphones have small built-in Antenna's that could very well cause your brain to attract more of the frequencies.

I believe that some use this on purpose to harm others.
it is not a surprise...
point is ..what do you do about it

This guy suggests that we can detect/sense the problem and that any individual can alter our frequencies back into a natural state, I agree though I am not certain on this method discussed above. We are all biological battery, I suppose the good purpoe here could be reversed for bad...
Anyhwo I posted as an attempt to get Further input ...
and am most attracted to the Yoga and reflexology type studies in this realm.

right on, thanks LightBlue, will check that out, - how about harmonics? - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4riQJB7Ocg (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4riQJB7Ocg&feature=related)

i think that's good too... everything that helps is good - there's quiet a few threads here devoted to sound harmonics ...a lot of people here apply it in their daily lives...i mentioned the alphabiotics as it specifically addresses a disbalance between right and left brain functions...bestest :) l
