Alex Jones Banned From Bilderberg Hotel, Calls For Press Mob

Media not welcome at site of power brokers’ confab

Tuesday, May 29, 2012

Alex Jones has been banned from the Westfields Marriott Washington Dulles hotel in Chantilly, Virginia today two days before the start of the 2012 Bilderberg conference.

http://www.foodnrecipe.com/data/images/full/2012/04/03/808-westfields-marriott-washington-dulles-hotels.jpg

Contacted by Bryan Stolz, Director of Hotel Operations at Marriott International, Jones was told that his room booking was cancelled and that he and his crew would be banned from entering the premises of the hotel.

When Jones asked Stolz if he could come for a hamburger at the hotel’s restaurant on Friday, Stolz laughed and said “yeah, if you can get in.”

Stolz made it clear Jones wasn’t welcome and offered to put him up in a different hotel.

Alex Jones is now calling for a peaceful “press mob” to surround the Westfields Marriott from the start of the confab on Thursday in order to do what the mainstream media habitually fails to accomplish – covering a meeting of 120 of the most powerful people on the planet.

Jones is also calling for everyone to have breakfast at the Westfields Marriott on Thursday morning before the hotel is emptied in readiness for the arrival of Bilderberg members.

As we reported yesterday, Bilderberg is fuming over the significant amount of press coverage they have received before the conference has even started, in addition to the large numbers of protesters expected to arrive later this week.

This is not the first time Jones and his crew have been treated with similar disdain at the behest of the Bilderberg Group. Flying in to cover the 2006 meeting in Ottawa, Jones and his colleagues were detained by immigration authorities in Canada for 15 hours during which they were threatened with 10 years in jail.

Article of Mark Dice about Bilderberg Group meeting:

"Dice is a conservative libertarian and the author of several books
about conspiracies and secret societies, including The Illuminati: Facts and Fiction,
which analyzes the various conspiracy theories surrounding elite secret societies and
private organizations such as the Bilderberg Group, the Federal Reserve and Bohemian
Grove. He has been featured in various conspiracy television shows, documentary films
and is a frequent guest on conspiracy talk radio shows."

..

“When you look at the independent journalists and bloggers
who have photographed and videotaped the attendees at
the Bilderberg Group, it’s quite shocking that the major news
networks have never even touched the issue,” Dice said.

..

“How could this not be news?” Dice continued. “How is it that,
year after year, 120 of the world’s most powerful men meet in
secret for three days, and yet there isn’t a word of it mentioned
in the American media?”

..

Documents show that in 2008, they received $645,000 in
contributions, with money coming from Goldman Sachs,
The Washington Post, Microsoft, Henry Kissinger,
David Rockefeller and others. Dice has published the
records from 2007 to 2010 on his website, www.markdice.com.

A day before the official kick off of the Bilderberg conference Alex Jones and crew were officially kicked out of the Westfields Marriott Hotel because they are 'renovating'.
Infowars has confirmed from multiple sources that the Bilderberg group will indeed be meeting at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly Virginia this weekend.
Considering that a staff member told Alex that all the rooms were occupied just a day before, it obviously confirms without a doubt that Westfields Marriott is hosting the top criminal elite of the planet this weekend.

I'll take a stab at this. The first Bildeberg meeting in 1954 was set up and designed to run the covert underground black op's projects and the underground global economy to support it, and designed to be secret and kept from the masses.

I mean, why not? If you are going to loot the surface global economy and use those resources to fund nefarious projects, such as stellar craft, off world bases, underground bases, genetic experiments, human cloning, star-wars weaponry, zero gravity, free energy, celestial technology back-engineering, and self serving hedonistic pleasure, would you want to let the planet in on what you are doing?

probably not.

Just watched a few minutes of video of that fence they are building. As if they will make any difference. And it isn't like they are afraid or fear for their safety. They just are explaining, in their own particular way, that they rule the planet......so back off.///see///we can even build a fence.....arn't we smart?

Pathetic really.

I was thinking about this last night (mediating on it), and I realize that it isn't that they have all the power, it is that humans, in general, are worshiping them (giving themselves to these people). Without people wanting (what they have), none of this would be happening (is all I am saying).

Hey folks,

The above picture is a great example that people are not awake as some think.

Where are the thousands of people from the occupy movement now?

I mean, if at least a small percentage of the US population was indeed awake, this place would be crowded with thousands of people!

Cheers,

Raf.

Thanks for relaying that shot Christian, priceless!!!http://www.bigtenfever.com/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif At this time four years ago, I didn't know a Bilderberger from a water burger, as Glenn "The False" Beck jokes about concerning the very mention of their meetings, and/or who they are. I don't think an encounter like pictured here was much of a concern for these people even ten years ago, much less twenty. They will never show it publicly, but they are in full panic mode.

Mold thrives in dark and out of the way places, as it's just not built to sustain exposure to the light of day. This is undoubtably an age of awakening, but for us to dare step foot on untrodden "ground", which is rich with the blood of Troubadours, those cameras need even more to be pointed at the photographers.

The real crux of the matter, lies in all of us acknowledging our roll in what has brought us to this point, and coming to terms with that.

Geez, why do you always have to be such a party pooper Raf? ;) lol
Only kidding, yours was an astute observation and logical assessment to make IMO.
So then, where are all the ever-increasing numbers of awakened folk, OWS protesters, militia groups etc that we've been hearing so much about when we need them?
Here we have one of the largest gatherings of criminal cabal/bankster/elitist/mega-corp scumbags on the planet all conveniently convened in one place for them to harrass, heckle, question, and make a MSM spectacle out of... but the efforts we see here (unfortunately) look to be feeble at best!
Apparently an opportunity like the one presented here barely registers as a blip on the radar of all the so-called "awakened masses" that are supposedly ready to tip the scales in the US and force change for the better in the very near future.
The fact that this latest Bilderberger meeting has been allowed to go ahead virtually unchallenged and unimpeded is not a very encouraging sign at all if you ask me.
In fact, I would probably go as far as saying that we still have a lot if work to do before we'll start seeing any real significant change in how this planet, its people, and its resources are being managed.
I will concede, however, that I do think we as a collective are currently undergoing a consciousness shift that is building momentum (slowly), but I dare say massive planet-wide transformations are not likely to occur (IMO at least) for some time yet.
I hope I'm wrong about that though, as I would dearly love for something miraculous to happens that speeds up the process for us.

Bilderberg Releases Official Attendee List And Press Release

May 31, 2012

In an uncharacteristic move, the official Bilderberg Meeting website has released a press release and attendee list for 2012 before the conference has officially started. Both are posted below:

http://www.digitaljournal.com/img/3/4/5/1/7/1/i/1/1/6/o/chantillymarriott.jpg

Press Release:

The 60th Bilderberg Meeting will be held in Chantilly, Virginia, USA from 31 May – 3 June 2012. The Conference will deal mainly with political, economic and societal issues like Transatlantic Relations, Evolution of the Political Landscape in Europe and the US, Austerity and Growth in Developed Economies, Cyber Security, Energy Challenges, the Future of Democracy, Russia, China and the Middle East.

Approximately 145 participants will attend of whom about two-thirds come from Europe and the balance from North America and other countries. About one-third is from government and politics, and two-thirds are from finance, industry, labor, education, and communications. The meeting is private in order to encourage frank and open discussion.

Bilderberg takes its name from the hotel in Holland, where the first meeting took place in May 1954. That pioneering meeting grew out of the concern expressed by leading citizens on both sides of the Atlantic that Western Europe and North America were not working together as closely as they should on common problems of critical importance. It was felt that regular, off-the-record discussions would help create a better understanding of the complex forces and major trends affecting Western nations in the difficult post-war period.

The Cold War has now ended. But in practically all respects there are more, not fewer, common problems – from trade to jobs, from monetary policy to investment, from ecological challenges to the task of promoting international security. It is hard to think of any major issue in either Europe or North America whose unilateral solution would not have repercussions for the other.

Thus the concept of a European-American forum has not been overtaken by time. The dialogue between these two regions is still – even increasingly – critical.

What is unique about Bilderberg as a forum is the broad cross-section of leading citizens that are assembled for nearly three days of informal and off-the-record discussion about topics of current concern especially in the fields of foreign affairs and the international economy; the strong feeling among participants that in view of the differing attitudes and experiences of the Western nations, there remains a clear need to further develop an understanding in which these concerns can be accommodated; the privacy of the meetings, which has no purpose other than to allow participants to speak their minds openly and freely.

In short, Bilderberg is a small, flexible, informal and off-the-record international forum in which different viewpoints can be expressed and mutual understanding enhanced.

Bilderberg’s only activity is its annual Conference. At the meetings, no resolutions are proposed, no votes taken, and no policy statements issued. Since 1954, fifty-nine conferences have been held. The names of the participants are made available to the press. Participants are chosen for their experience, their knowledge, and their standing; all participants attend Bilderberg in a private and not an official capacity.

For further information refer to www.bilderbergmeetings.org. A list of participants is attached.

Bilderberg 2012: the technocrats are rising at this year's annual conference

by Charlie Skelton

Our man at Bilderberg is back for a fourth year and has touched down in Chantilly for the 2012 gathering. The shadowy elite leaders' conference starts tomorrow, so what's on the agenda?

It's all change at Bilderberg this year, with a new chairman, new media and Occupy Bilderberg knocking at the gates.

http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2010/6/7/1275917882334/Dutch-Queen-Beatrix-arriv-006.jpg
Dutch Queen Beatrix arrives at the 2010 Bilderberg conference in Sitges, Spain.

Everything's set. The hotel is being primped and hoovered, the security is arriving, the press is nowhere to be seen, and I just had a really boring crab salad. It's shaping up to be a vintage Bilderberg.

We were lunching in the Palm Court restaurant of the Westfields Marriott hotel, in Chantilly, Virginia. A few days from now, this hotel will be dripping with billionaires and bankers, industry CEOs and finance ministers, here for the annual Bilderberg summit. "The leaders of the world are coming to our hotel", beams one member of staff. "Are you here for the brunch?"

We are. Most of the other guests have left by now. The hotel is edging towards lockdown. All that's left is a team of nervy conference organizer who start filming us with their iPhones, several dozen security operatives, me, my wife and a really rather boring 'spook', brunching on an adjacent table.

He droned on for the full length of a crab salad about his "internal and external drivers", about how "I got a panel of three-star admirals together" to secure a "$30m contract" and how "CACI excels in capture management".

He talked fondly of CACI International Inc (a giant defense contractor), although more recently he's had "a nice success rate with Booz Allen" (another giant defense contractor). His world was the deathly dull blur between the federal government and private defense corporations. The grim feeding trough of "systems solutions", "security logistics" and "mission assurance". My crab ended just as he was declaring, wisely: "When you leave the navy and you go to a contractor, you say: what's my mission?"

His mission for the next week or so is to keep the queen of the Netherlands, the chairman of Barclays, and the chairman, vice-chairman and CEO of Shell Oil safe and sound for a three-day conference. The hotel is encircled by the offices of the world's largest arms' manufacturers, 15 minutes up the road from the headquarters of the CIA. I suspect they'll be OK.

Welcome to Chantilly: a little bit of paradise on earth. Photograph: Charlie Skelton for the Guardian

The Bilderberg conference was last here in Chantilly, at the exact same godforsaken spot, back in 2008 – which, like 2012, was a US election year, and the moment the current economic woes really started hitting the fan. You might remember, it was the year when then-senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton paid a flying visit to Bilderberg (aka 'an event in northern Virginia'), after shaking off the press pack during the Democratic presidential campaign. AP had the story:

"Reporters travelling with Obama sensed something might be happening between the pair might when they arrived at Dulles International Airport after an event in northern Virginia and Obama was not aboard the airplane."

You can watch the hilarious footage of Robert Gibbs, Obama's press secretary, trying (and failing) to placate a furious press corp, who found themselves tricked aboard a flight to Chicago. "Others had a desire to meet with him in a private way," he explains. This is an extraordinary admission from Gibbs – "others" clicked their fingers, and Obama came running, with Hillary in tow.

Bill Clinton was introduced to the political big league at Bilderberg 1991. The man who introduced him was Vernon Jordan, a lawyer, civil rights activist and currently board member of Lazard investment bank. Speaking last year about the occasion, Jordan recalls:

"In 1991, I took Bill Clinton to the Bilderberg meetings in Baden Baden, Germany. Bilderberg meetings have been going on since 1954, sort of the North-American / European Alliance."

Later, after Clinton won the election:

"The steering committee of Bilderberg came to Washington in January, and I called the president up and I said 'Mr President, they're here' – and he came to the Four Seasons hotel, and the Europeans felt like they owned him because they met him when he was totally unknown."

That's interesting: a meeting of the Bilderberg steering committee at the Four Seasons in Washington? In January? But according to Bilderberg's official website, "Bilderberg's only activity is its annual conference".

As for this year's election, rumours are already circulating about Bilderberg and presidential running mates, sparked off by a Washington Post report back in April on the matter of Republican senator Marco Rubio's speech at the Summit of the Americas:

"[John] Edwards gave a speech in June 2004 at the Bilderberg conference that was widely credited as one reason John Kerry chose him."

Aside from the US presidency, the big debate of Bilderberg 2012 is likely to be: what in Hades do we do about Greece? The Eurozone is Bilderberg's biggest project, but it's been looking distinctly shaky of late. What's to be done? You can feel the unwillingness of Bilderberg to countenance a 'Grexit' in the stern words of Bilderberg spokesperson, the UK member of parliament for Rushcliffe, Kenneth Clarke. To leave the Euro, says Clarke, would be "disastrous" for the Greeks. "If they get a hopeless lot of rather cranky extremists elected at the next election then they will default on their debt." Clarke took the time to brand eurosceptic British MPs "right-wing nationalists", and euroscepticism itself "irresponsible".

Clarke's most telling remark is that: "It's going to take a crisis, an absolute crisis, to make Europe's leaders act." This week's Economist magazine agrees: "For the past six decades, steps forward to greater European union have taken place at moments of incipient crisis."

"A consensus is slowly emerging that, whether a Greek exit is to be averted or weathered, there will have to be a greater level of integration in the euro zone, with tighter constraints on the freedom of national governments."

This message, that out of the struggle will come a new strength, seems to be the Bilderbergian line. For example, EU Commissioner Joaquin Almunia (whom we spotted at Bilderberg 2010) says we need now to "reinforce the European Parliament's role" which "will also strengthen the role of the [EU] Commission". So his solution to the crisis: "I need a bigger office."

The Economist says that if the "elite venture" of Europe is to survive and thrive, "Europe's elites" have got their work cut out. It ventures to give the elites some "unashamedly technocratic" advice on how to forge their closer union, but it needn't worry, the technocrats of Bilderberg seems to have the matter in hand. Mario Monti (unelected Italian PM, Bilderberg steering committee) said this week: "Europe can have euro bonds soon."

But we're not in Europe now, we're in Chantilly, and the CIA is just up the road from the conference venue, so protestors had better stay on their best behaviour. And we're expecting plenty of them – gathering under the activist umbrella: "Occupy Bilderberg"

What a difference a year makes. Occupy Bilderberg? I love it. The Occupy movement seems finally to have realised that the problem isn't the 1%, it's the 0.001%. It's the guys and gals and whatever David Rockefeller is who are meeting in Chantilly, Virginia, at the end of the week. Many hundreds of protestors have pledged to show up. And who knows, they may just manage to drag the mainstream news media with them.

Historically, one of the biggest problems people have had with Occupy is that its aims and demands have been a little, shall we say, "diffuse". Not the case with Occupy Bilderberg. That's the nail getting hit squarely on the head. Occupy Bilderberg is keyhole activism. Picking the exact right spot and sticking the scissors in.

"We refuse to pay for the banks' crisis" was the cry from OccupyLSX back in the autumn. They demanded an end to "our democracy representing corporations instead of the people." What Bilderberg represents is the fact that our democracy IS our corporations. And politics is just the wake behind a shark fin.

Time to go fishing.

Bill Clinton was introduced to the political big league at Bilderberg 1991. The man who introduced him was Vernon Jackson, a lawyer, civil rights activist and currently board member of Lazard investment bank. Speaking last year about the occasion, Jackson recalls:

If anyone knows Charlie Skelton, could you let him know that's Vernon Jordan, not Vernon Jackson :).

This character and this bank has been reported to be at the center of the finanical system corruption and trillions of dollars of secret accounts by whistleblowers for years. I think I first heard of him from Chris Story, but later from many sources.

I see the neo-con Perle is there (I bet he knows some things about 9/11) , and the uber-evil (imho) Kissinger. And Kerry - what a joke of a candidate he was - Skull and Bones of course.

Insider: Bilderberg Members Share Ron Paul Death Wish

Heated conversation about Congressman dying in plane crash takes place in hotel lobby

Friday, June 1, 2012

During a heated conversation in the lobby of the Westfields Marriott hotel yesterday, Bilderberg members expressed their desire to see Ron Paul die in a plane crash, according to veteran journalist Jim Tucker’s inside source.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=fesE5HcLC9Y
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=fesE5HcLC9Y

The close up shot was necessary to eliminate background noise. A full interview with Jim Tucker (AmericanFreePress.net) will be posted later.

The shocking exchange took place just after Bilderberg attendees started arriving yesterday morning as they were driven through crowds of hundreds of Paul-supporting demonstrators.

Wasting no time to shoot their mouths off, one Bilderberg member expressed his desire to, “Get Ron Paul and all of his supporters on an airplane with a Muslim suicide pilot and take ‘em down,” according to Tucker’s source, which has been proven routinely accurate with Bilderberg information in the past.

“That was the harshest comment made but there were a lot of mean-spirited comments made as the Bilderberg boys gathered in the lobby of the hotel,” added Tucker.

Tucker explained that the Bilderbergers are becoming increasingly irate at the resistance amongst patriotic Americans to their program, with protest figures rising at each annual confab.

The program planned by Bilderberg has been set back for years and every year it gets worse and every year they get more depressed and every year they get more outraged – we’re winning, they’re losing,” said Tucker.

Bilderberg is furious that Paul is working to stop the full ratification of the Law of the Sea Treaty, which as we documented yesterday is being discussed at this year’s conference. The treaty would hand the United Nations control over all U.S. oceans and force ships to pay a tariff directly to the global body.

This is not the first time Bilderberg members have expressed their desire to see the Texan Congressman and staunch constitutionalist meet his maker.

Back in December 2007, best-selling author and Bilderberg sleuth Daniel Estulin told the Alex Jones Show that the U.S. intelligence establishment was considering assassinating Paul as a means of derailing the Ron Paul Revolution, which later gave rise to the Tea Party and spawned a generation of anti-big government grass roots activists.

Why Does The Mainstream Media Ignore The Bilderberg Group?

Why Does The Mainstream Media Ignore The Bilderberg Group?

Over the next several days, more than a hundred of the most powerful people on the planet will attend a secret conference at a hotel in Chantilly, Virgina. Some of the biggest names in politics and business will be there. The hotel is going to be completely locked down and will be swarmed by hordes of security guards carrying machine guns. This conference is so important that even the U.S. Secret Service is rumored to be involved in providing security. These meetings have been held yearly since 1954, but no record of what goes on at them has ever been officially released to the public and all the attendees are sworn to secrecy. Decisions made at this conference will affect the lives of every man, woman and child on the planet. But the vast majority of Americans will have no idea that the Bilderberg Group is meeting about 20 miles from Washington D.C. this year because the mainstream media in the United States ignores the Bilderberg Group almost entirely year after year. Based on the coverage it gets from the U.S. media, you would think that the Bilderberg Group was a non-event. But if some of the most powerful people on the planet are getting together to discuss our future, don't you think the mainstream media should be covering it?

The Bilderberg Group is much more than just a social club. It has played a major role in shaping the direction of the world since it was created in 1954. The Bilderberg Group helped create the European Union and it helped create the euro. This year efforts to save the euro are rumored to be high on the agenda.

And considering the big names that show up at this conference on a yearly basis you would think that the U.S. media would be extremely interested in it. The following is just a sampling of the big names that have attended Bilderberg in recent years....

Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Prince Charles, David Cameron, Tony Blair, Henry Kissinger, Bill Gates, Angela Merkel, Ben Bernanke, Timothy Geithner, Rick Perry, David Rockefeller, Herman van Rompuy, Jean-Claude Trichet, Jeff Bezos, Chris R. Hughes, Eric Schmidt, Craig J. Mundie, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Richard Perle, Paul Volcker, Lawrence Summers, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden

Isn't that enough star power to get the attention of the mainstream media?

A complete list of the "official attendees" of the Bilderberg Group from last year can be found right here.

You would think that this would be big news.

But apparently there is so much else going on in the world that there isn't any room to cover the Bilderberg Group.

For example, right now on USA Today you can find the following headlines on the front page....

-Trilogies spring up on reading lists

-Spelling still matters in era of texting, spell check

-Many chain stores now add a toy aisle for adults

Perhaps other news sources are discussing more important news.

Then again, perhaps not.

On the front page of CNN, you can currently find the following headlines....

-Airline seat squeeze: It's not just you

-Group: Prove Romney's not a unicorn

-Scientists confirm 'old person smell'

No wonder CNN is experiencing record low television ratings.

The mainstream media may be ignoring Bilderberg, but based on the level of security around the hotel you would be tempted to think that it was the most important event in the United States this year.

A recent article by Paul Joseph Watson discussed some of the extraordinary security measures that are being implemented to protect this conference....

Undercover Fairfax police, secret service, hotel security, as well as diplomatic service personnel are all now rushing to finalize preparations for the arrival of Bilderberg members tomorrow morning.

According to London Guardian journalist Charlie Skelton, conference organizers were also using iPhones to film guests who had arrived for brunch. Regular guests as well as journalists are also having background checks run against their names.

Alex Jones also heard discussions between members of Bilderberg security about how sophisticated surveillance equipment using satellites was being used to tap phones of prominent activists and media personalities set to cover the event.

So why doesn't the mainstream media want to cover this?

In the past, a number of top politicians (including future U.S. presidents) have attended Bilderberg prior to getting elected to very important positions. A recent WorldNetDaily article detailed a few examples of this phenomenon....

George H.W. Bush attended in 1985. He became president in 1988. Bill Clinton attended in 1991. He became president a year later. Tony Blair attended in 1993. He became prime minister of England in 1997. Romano Prodi attended in 1999. Later that year he became president of the European Union Commission. In 2004, Sen. John Edwards spoke to the group. He was later anointed the Democratic vice presidential nominee by presidential candidate John Kerry.

It is even rumored that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton held a secret meeting at Bilderberg back in 2008.

Amazingly, there are indications that Barack Obama may have held a little "pre-Bilderberg meeting" again this year. According to the Economic Policy Journal, Obama snuck away from reporters on Saturday for some mysterious reason....

Of note, President Obama disappeared this weekend.. Reporters were miffed. Was it a pre-Bilderberg meeting for the Prez?

On Saturday, West Wing Report had these odd tweets:

President arrived 1:10 ET at Andrews golf course. Playing today with regulars Marvin Nicholson; Walt Nicholson & Pete Selfridge
---
President back at White House. In a breach of longtanding policy, his motorcade departed without hooking up with the waiting press vans.
---
Pool does not know first hand when the president left Andrews, what route he took, or when he arrived at White House
---
Press pool always accompanies the president wherever he goes. Decades-long tradition violated again.

Remember, if the President meets someone outside the White House, it isn't logged in on WH records amd there is no record if the press aren't there to record it.

So where did Obama go during that missing time and why did he ditch the press?

They will probably never tell us.

The truth is that the mainstream media is the biggest "gatekeeper" of all.

They decide what is important and what is not important.

They decide what is going to be in "the news" and what the American people are going to be talking about.

They choose to totally ignore the Bilderberg Group and so most Americans will not even hear about it this year.

And that is really sad. The truth is that those that attend Bilderberg have big plans for all of us.

David Rockefeller, a regular attendee at Bilderberg meetings, wrote the following in a 2003 book entitled "Memoirs"....

“Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”

I don't know about you, but I don't like the fact that a bunch of elitists are holding secret conferences where they discuss how to build a "more integrated global political and economic structure".

The future of America should be in the hands of the American people - not in the hands of secretive global elitists that desire to shape the world in their own image.

Please share this information and other articles you can find about the Bilderberg Group with as many people as you can. The mainstream media is not doing their job, so it is up to all of us to get the truth out.

Bilderberg 2012: bigger and badder and better than ever

As the conference gets into full swing, Charlie Skelton meets the alternative media and their $700 cameras, as they remain convinced their mainstream brethren are missing the story

http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2012/6/1/1338562427484/Bilderberg-balloons-008.jpg
Protestors at the 2012 Bilderberg Conference in Chantilly, Virginia wave intimidating balloons as the delegates' arrive.

"Not to be used as safety barriers" was the warning on the safety barriers that the police laid around the gates of Bilderberg. The officers were firm but fair. "Madam, please step away with the balloons," they asked a protester, as she waved them angrily at arriving limousine. "But this is my first amendment right," she howled. I'll give you my balloons when you pry them from my cold, dead hands.

It's hard to look furious when you're holding balloons, but somehow she managed it. There's a lot of anger in the crowd this year – a great wall of noise met each delegate as they swooped up the hotel drive. Personally, I thought the crowd was a little harsh at times: branding each new arrival "thieving scum!" when, looking at the delegate list, no more than two thirds of those arriving could reasonably be called that.

Protestors outside the 2012 Bilderberg Conference in Chantilly, Virginia

The official list of participants was released early this year. Praise where praise is due: well done Bilderberg for starting to behave like a grown-up political summit. Good behaviour like this should be given positive reinforcement – I feel like I should ruffle Henry Kissinger's hair and toss him a meaty treat. Alas, I think I might be dropped by a sniper before I could reach his wheelchair.

That's if I managed to get past the eagle eyes of Senator John Kerry. He's attending this year, alongside Governor Mitch Daniels of Indiana. I can imagine they'd grab an arm each, while Nick Boles MP stood on his little stool in the corner, jeering, as I was dragged from the conference room, and booted into the parking lot by Mark Rutte, the Dutch prime minister, while Michael Noonan, Ireland's minister for finance, tells me in no uncertain terms to get lost. Which, by the way, is news to me – Ireland has a minister for finance?

What a lovely lot of politicians we've got at this year's Bilderberg. What a shot in the arm for democracy. I don't know if Lord Mandelson belongs on a list of public servants, but he's here; he's becoming quite a regular these days. Mandelson will be striving privately towards a better world with the Polish finance minister, the Finnish finance minister – and, wait, who's this…?

Why, it's cuddly old Bilderberg insider, the Lord Chancellor, Kenneth Clarke MP. No wonder the press officer at the Ministry for Justice last week was so unwilling to talk: "I'm not in a position to either deny or confirm that the minister will be attending." Yup. That's exactly the sort of transparency and openness Ken is so keen to see implemented – as he said only a few months ago:

"Transparency is the most effective public inoculation against corruption that any country can have. There is a strong public interest case for almost all government information to be open to scrutiny."

How very true. I feel a Freedom of Information request coming on.

Ken's presence makes up somewhat for the big absence of 2012: no David Rockefeller! What on earth would make the 96-year-old mega-banker miss his favourite big-money shindig? I guess Wisconsin must have rescheduled its annual Biting The Heads off Small Mammals Competition. Poor David, such bad timing. But I guess he's got a title to defend.

Even without Rocky, there's a stellar cast from the world of banking and finance. Old favourites like Agius and Flint (the chairfolk of Barclays and HSBC), and a new name on my radar – Michael J Evans – who enjoys the elegant title: vice-chairman, global head of growth markets, Goldman Sachs.

Evans will be conferencing with his esteemed colleages, James A Johnson (director of Goldman Sachs) and Peter Sutherland (chairman of Goldman Sachs International) – the last two both members of Bilderberg's Steering Group. The strong Goldman showing this year does so much to reassure me of the benign and worthwhile efforts of Bilderberg. They just want to get on and help us, quietly and secretly. Like a corporate cross between Santa Claus and a big friendly squid.

Another lovely chap from the world of banking is Timothy C Collins. Tim is on the board of Citigroup, has his own giant private equity company (Ripplewood Holdings) and is a director of the 'Tony Blair Faith Foundation, US'. Of the three, I know which one makes me trust him the least.

Speaking of Blair, there's some Tony Blair Bilderberg news just out. Mr Blair, as we know, attended the Bilderberg conference in 1993. Although he didn't, because he told Parliament that he didn't. So he didn't go. Unless he lied to Parliament about not going.

Let's see now. This is a written Q&A from March 1998:

Mr. Christopher Gill MP: To ask the Prime Minister which members of his government have attended meetings of the Bilderberg Group.

The Prime Minister: None.

But here's the thing… footage has just been released by activists from We Are Change, who took the liberty of sticking a microphone in Tony's face and asking him the same question.

sQf2-3EiAxs

Same question. Different answer.

"Yeah, it's a really useful group actually, I remember going back to that in 1993, and we, er… it's a great way too for people from different parts of the world to get together, um, so it's been good."

Blair's powers of syntax may be waning, but his memory seems to have improved in the 14 years since he denied going. It happens. It's a well-known medical condition – kind of a Reverse Alzheimer's.

After the awkward admission comes the killer question:

"Conflict of interest?"

You have to watch Tony Blair's discomfiture at that question. His answer is basically: "Yeah. Um." Watch it. And then wonder to yourself why such a skilled politician would tell such a stupid lie in the first place.

Luke Rudkowski is the We Are Changer who put Blair on the spot. He's here in Chantilly, outside Bilderberg, with more recording equipment strapped to him than the average moon lander.

"It's huge," he says, as he records the crowds. And the crowds just keep on growing. By early afternoon on Thursday, there are well over 200 people, and they keep rolling up. I hate to curse Bilderberg 2012 by saying this so early, but it feels like… this could be the big one. The breakthrough.

"Everyone's becoming citizen reporters these days", says Rudkowski – and even as he says it, we're being filmed by a representative of Occupy Portland. And over on a grassy knoll, the police are filming us being filmed.

There's so many cameras here, so many budding documentarians, so much youth, determination, tech savvy and political awareness – if I was Henry Kissinger, I'd be ordering another napalm strike right outside the gates of the Marriott.

The mainstream press dropped the ball on Bilderberg; in fact, I'm not even sure they ever had it in their hands. So people like Rudkowski have had to step in, pick up the ball, re-edit it, and stick it online with comments enabled. At Bilderberg 2012, the mainstream press is quite simply being bypassed. And there's me with my pen and notepad, interviewing Luke, while he livestreams it. I feel like a caveman with a bad haircut talking to an astronaut.

I ask Luke why he's come. "I try not to theorize. I go to the source. I try and find out exactly what's happening." Rudkowski used an article I'd written at Bilderberg 2010 to put Blair on the spot. In my piece, I'd used the evidence available online to call Blair a liar. Rudkowski went to the horse's mouth.

"There's a reason he lied. It shows you something's going on. The more questions I raise about Bilderberg, the more questions I have – there's a lot more to the story than what we're being told". Which, to be fair, isn't much. The Bilderberg Group isn't much good at telling their own story, which is a shame because it's quite a tale.

Rudkowski's also here "to open the dialogue", he says. "Conversation and communication can help fix a lot of the problems we're facing." Although I'm not sure that some of the things said to Blair on that video could fairly be described as 'dialogue openers'.

Another new media luminary working the gates at Bilderberg is Jason Bermas, of Loose Change. He's just flown in from upstate New York. "I took the pat-downs. No body scanners for me…"

He has come here with his $700 camera, "because we have to be here. The media has trillions of dollars to spend, and they're not here. But we have the technology, and I believe technology is the power that will lighten the darkness."

The power jumps a few thousand watts when an SUV rolls up and out hops the Oprah Winfrey of alternative media: Alex Jones. Millions listen his daily thunderings against the 'Empire of the Bankers'. He's broadcasting his show live from the police line, streaming video, one moment educating the police on global power structures, the next minute bullhorning some poor billionaire delegate as they try and slip inside unnoticed. "The answer to 1984?" yells Jones. "1776!" roars the crowd.

http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2012/6/1/1338565626331/Billderberg-2012-protest--008.jpg
Alternative media star Alex Jones presents his internet video show live from the Bilderberg 2012 protest line

It's a kind of live interactive news documentary history wildlife show, a roar of protest from the lion's den, and everyone feels a part of it. The wall between people and events – that dusty old safety barrier between the news and its consumers – it's tumbling down around Bilderberg.

This the working media. They're out here, in the Virginia sun, working hard. Livestreaming, uploading, swapping data, checking audio feeds – in short, reporting the news. And why? Short answer: because CNN isn't.

To be fair to the dinosaurs, this year saw an actual proper mainstream journalist turn up to Bilderberg: the Washington Times sent Ben Wolfgang, who wrote an extremely decent piece – so there you go, mainstream news: it can be done. You may be late to the party, but there's plenty more booze behind the bar. Pour yourself a drink, and let's talk about the transnational machinations of the technocratic banking elite. You might want to sit down, this is going to take a while. It all starts with Plato…

Around 150 of the world’s elite approached the grounds of a suburban Virginia hotel on Thursday for the first day of the 2012 Bilderberg Conference, but also on hand were throngs of protesters who gathered to oppose the top-secret gathering. Journalists and critics of the annual clandestine conference stationed themselves outside of a Chantilly, Virginia Marriott hotel near Washington, DC early Thursday to catch a glimpse of the government officials, entrepreneurs, and other assorted members of the privileged elite who had gathered for this year’s event.

The annual Bilderberg Conference is a meeting of bankers, billionaires and government leaders. For years the session's guest list has been kept secret, but this year that all changed. Many critics believe revealing the guest list was done in an effort to prove how open the summit really is, but where is the media coverage? Abby Martin is on the ground to give us the latest on Bilderberg.

While the international ACTA treaty and United States’ CISPA legislation are setting the stage to clamp down on the world wide web, technocrats are working overtime to try to pin down your identity and make sure all your activities are thoroughly monitored and under control.

The European Union is now moving to create a mandatory electronic ID system for all EU citizens that would be implemented across Europe to standardize business both online and in person, authenticating users via a common ‘electronic signature.’ A single authenticating ID would guard access to the Internet, online data and most commerce. It is nothing short of an attempt to phase in a Mark of the Beast system, and a prominent Bilderberg attendee is behind the scheme.

Neelie Kroes is the EU’s Digital Agenda Commissioner, and is introducing legislation she hopes will force “the adoption of harmonised e-signatures, e-identities and electronic authentication services (eIAS) across EU member states.”

The extent of such a system would, of course, expand over time, particularly as many EU nations have resisted the big government encroachment of ID requirements on civil rights grounds, which even now smack of the Nazi regime’s draconian “papers please” policies that empowered their other avenues of tyranny. According to EurActiv.com, Neelie Kroes would later “widen the scope of the current Directive by including also ancillary authentication services that complement e-signatures, like electronic seals, time/date stamps, etc,” as the supra-national body attempts to corral more nations into participation.

This big brother system will be implemented in Europe first and later pushed in North America and the remainder of the globe, as the world is nudged step by step towards a total cashless control grid in the name of ‘safe, verifiable commerce,’ and of course, in the name of “security.” Nevermind that the plan would invite the hacking of identities and fast track forgeries. In the case of Europe, special emphasis is placed in part on “establishing a truly functioning single market” — part of the larger EU goal even now floundering.

http://i46.tinypic.com/1626w3q.jpg

Neelie Kroes has been a long term Bilderberg attendee, showing up annually since 2005. She was on the official list for the 2006 meeting in Ottawa, Canada, then the 2007 meeting in Istanbul, Turkey, 2008 in Chantilly, Virginia, 2009 in Vouliagmeni, Greece and 2010 in Sitges, Spain as a delegate from the European Commission.

But in 2011, Kroes came to the table in St. Moritz, Switzerland with a new title: the EU’s Commissioner for Digital Agenda, so obviously now seeing development on that agenda was not unexpected. Kroes latest effort will surely be bolstered during the 2012 meeting now just days away.

It dovetails with the creation of US CYBERCOM in recent years and the appointment of NSA head Gen. Keith Alexander, who also meets annually at Bilderberg, to wage offensive cyberwar across the globe. Further, technocrats from Silicon Valley and other locales have also converged around the secretive meetings to coordinate their developments with emerging regulations, new Internet laws and treaties, and to further the data mining efforts of the clandestine intelligence communities they work with.

Thanks Ciders' ....Freshly plucked from the internet..... Delegates... 48 from USA......13 UK....5 from Turkey?.. One Syrian head of foreign affairs ....Tamor Rabinovitch Israeli expert on Syria... One chief of US cyber command... Old pupil Peter Mandelsohn....SOS Henry Kissinger...Quite a few of the younger family members here, of the attendees of the original 1954 meeting... All participants attend Bilderberg meetings in a private and not an official capacity. Am I right in thinking that UK prime ministers Tony Blair and Gordon Brown were both one time employed treasurers of the Bilderberg group?.

Thanks for posting heyokah. Where is the outrage? How do we stop this? I found some more recent reports on this as well:

From The New American (http://www.thenewamerican.com/world-news/europe/item/11507-eu-plans-to-impose-national-internet-ids)

EU Plans to Impose National Internet IDs
Written by Raven Clabough

While the European Union — many of whose member states are facing dire economic crises — struggles to convince the world of its significance and necessity, it has taken on a controversial new agenda: Internet control. Reports indicate that the EU will soon be creating a mandatory electronic ID system for all citizens of the European Union.

The EU's Digital Agenda Commissioner, Neelie Kroes, asserts that the legislation will promote “the adoption of harmonized e-signatures, e-identities and electronic authentication services (eIAS) across EU member states.”

An internal document related to the proposal explains:

A clear regulatory environment for eIAS would boost user convenience, trust and confidence in the digital world. This will increase the availability of cross-border and cross-sector eIAS and stimulate the take up of cross-border electronic transactions in all sectors.

According to EurActiv.com, Neelie Kroes would later “widen the scope of the current Directive by including also ancillary authentication services that complement e-signatures, like electronic seals, time/date stamps, etc,” as the EU attempts to coerce nations into participating.

It’s worth noting that Kroes is a longtime attendee at the secretive Bilderberg meetings of elite globalists, and it seems likely the legislation will be an item on the agenda for the upcoming Bilderberg meeting in Chantilly, Virginia, May 31-June 3.

Across the Atlantic, the Obama administration has been a major proponent of a national Internet ID system, but has faced harsh backlash for the proposal. Critics have voiced a variety of concerns surrounding the Internet ID system, focusing on the power such a plan would grant to federal authorities to monitor the online activities of all U.S. citizens. When the idea was first proposed by President Obama, EndoftheAmericanDream.com noted, “The potential for government abuse of such a system is absolutely staggering.”

Additional concerns were raised over the vulnerability that such a system would create for consumers. If someone were to steal another’s ID and authenticate it, the thief would then have access to many different areas of the victim's life.

“Look at it this way: You can have one key that opens every lock for everything you might need online in your daily life,” says Lillie Coney, the associate director of the Electronic Privacy Information Center in Washington. “Or, would you rather have a key ring that would allow you to open some things but not others?”

According to the Electronic Frontier Foundation, if the government were to implement the Internet ID system, it would need to create new privacy laws and regulations to prohibit identity verifiers from selling user information or sharing it with law-enforcement authorities without a warrant.

“It took us decades to realize that we shouldn’t carry our Social Security cards around in our wallets,” says Aaron Titus, the chief privacy officer at Identity Finder. The cyber IDs are at an even greater risk than Social Security cards, he explains, because they involve significant transactions.

“What happens when you leave your phone at a bar?” he asks. “Could someone take it and use it to commit a form of hyper identity theft?”

European citizens have voiced similar concerns over the implementation of national ID cards, particularly as related to government control.

Euractiv.com explains:

Some member states like the United Kingdom do not even have paper identity cards, and the idea of adopting them causes widespread public opposition.

The UK briefly introduced ID cards during the second world war but abolished them afterwards. The use that the Nazi regime made of identity documents to single out Jewish people and send them into concentration camps has been a powerful argument against introducing ID documents across the Channel.

When former British Prime Minister Tony Blair attempted to introduce the idea of ID cards, a protest movement arose across the nation practically overnight.

Regardless of the concerns revolving around the national Internet ID, the EU Commission in Brussels favors the idea and intends to move ahead with the regulations, with probable support from the influential Bilderberg Group.

The internal document related to the proposal indicates that most of the EU member states will ultimately back the plan as a result of “behind-the-scene” negotiations, reports Euractiv. But the document also predicts that there will likely be some boisterous debating over the idea at the EU Council of Ministers.

ALSO ON THE BILDERBERG CONFERENCE

From: The Canada Free Press - ''Conclave with global consequences'' (http://www.canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/47074)

The New World Order movers and shakers are meeting in a Marriott hotel in Chantilly, Virginia, not far from the Dulles Airport, located in a non-descript office park. The 150 Bilderbergers’ secret agenda has leaked out from various sources.

It does not take a rocket scientist to make an educated guess about the topics of the May 31-June 3, 2012 conference: pondering another war in the Middle East, global warming environmental fraud pushed by UN Agenda 21, Internet I.D. and control, the presidential election in the U.S., control over media, our Congress, our military, and the European crisis.

The tight security protects the global corporatists, a prince, a queen, banking heads, environmentalists, lawyers, media, college professors, elected officials, and technology elites from public scrutiny, the very people whose lives will be affected by the decisions of the Bilderbergs. “Any attempt to get close to the building would result in arrest.”

Alberta Premier Alison Redford, a global warming proponent, will bounce ideas with other environmentalists how to implement UN Agenda 21 faster. The Calgary Herald and other Canadians have criticized her for spending $19,000 taxpayer money for a “committee that meets in secret, has no policies, no resolutions, nobody is allowed—it’s invite only; what is Alberta getting out of this?” (Danielle Smith, Wildrose Leader)

Alison Redford promised to report on discussions but that is not likely to happen since “attendees are sworn to secrecy.”

The Washington Post today published a short piece on the bottom of the Metro section (local news) about the meeting, reporting on the protesters outside as conspiracy theorists. The article said, “Attendees are encouraged not to discuss the proceedings, which fuels secrecy concerns. In other words, the first rule is, you do not talk about Bilderberg.” The Chairman and CEO of the Washington Post is one of the conference attendees. (Annie Gowen, Washington Post)

As a very curious person, I would be interested to know who encouraged the attendees not to discuss the proceedings that affect all of us economically and politically, and who established the first rule about the Bilderbergs? Secondly, who or what gave them the right to lord it over the globe.

In progressive fashion, the Washington Post barely touched on the importance of such a meeting and derided those who protested outside, drenched by a sudden and heavy thunderstorm, “The timing couldn’t have been more perfect if the Lords of Bilderberg had arranged it themselves.” (Annie Gowen)

Some speculate that Mitch Daniels, the Governor of Indiana, one of the attendees, will be chosen as vice-presidential pick for Mitt Romney. He is scheduled to deliver a speech during the conference.

“Henry Kissinger and Bill Gates were chauffeured in.” Prince Phillipe of Belgium and Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands were also ushered in heavily tinted limousines. The commissioner for Digital Agenda and EU Vice President, Neelie Kroes, who recently proposed complete Internet I.D. control, is expected to push this EU agenda.

Media is represented by the CEO of the Washington Post, Italian journalist Lili Gruber, CEO of Le Monde, Editor-in-Chief of the Economist, Peggy Noonan of the Wall Street Journal, the CEO and Chief Economics Commentator of the Financial Times, the German newspaper Die Zeit, the Tamedia AG publisher, Der Standard Medienwelt publisher, and Charlie Rose.

My painstaking list shows that these individuals are not just meeting to have a conclave to bounce around ideas and have discussions away from prying eyes and ears; they are actively affecting policies in their countries and influencing public opinion. They are not benign members of a secretive elite club who meet for academic fun and would like to be left alone—they are global rulers and decision makers with far-reaching consequences into our collective lives.

No matter how liberal media spins the activities of the Bilderbergs and maligns those who know the truth as “conspiracy buffs,” yearly conference attendees are powerful individuals of the global elite class, passionately interested in shaping our future in the vision of their collective beliefs.

Thank you Zebra for your input.
Indeed "Where is the outrage?"

The problem is that they will get away with doing this because the "slaves" won’t know any better and will do whatever they tell them to do. Like being chipped and controlled.
They will make it mandatory and law and then get a whole bunch of celebrities to do commercials for the chips to entice everyone that they should do it.
And the "slaves" will do it, plain and simple.

Hey, I usually agree with merging threads but the more threads on this topic that we can fire out there -- the more that appear in the search engine listings about news stories for this event - like Google. As we know the readership for Avalon goes beyond the membership as well, and a lot of people are drawn here because of those listings.

As it stands, reporting from the mainstream media remains thin on the ground. If we continue re-posting worthy news stories that come through with some excellent commentary for readers, this should help spread awareness and help the overall cause.

Hope others agree. The re-posting of YouTube videos helps things go viral a lot more quickly. I believe we should be thinking the same.

Anyone call Jim Tucker yet and tell them where we are meeting this year so that the people can burn off some of that tension and makes themselves feel good?

Yea, that's been handled. The more we come out into the open, the more the tension release continues, as per the Edward Bernay's committee on human resources and social engineering and control. You seen the report for this year? Yea, looks like the people are pretty docile and under control. Our plan is working perfectly.

See you there my old friend George Soros. You too Henry Kissinger.

This was a long, BEAUTIFUL weekend - and a victory for those of us who love FREEDOM!!! :D I wasn't there in person, but I was watching three streams all weekend (Alex Jones's, Luke Rudkowski's at We Are Change, and PDX News with Carrie Medina.), and I hardly missed a thing from when they all started in the morning until they all went back to their hotels (or whatever sleeping arrangements they had.) at night - for four days! I'm actually a little sad it's over. :)

Alex was definitely in top form, as were Matthew Medina, Carrie Medina (no relation.), Lude Rudkowski, Mark Dice, Adam Kokesh, and EVERYONE else! It was INCREDIBLE. I know "we" (I was there in Spirit, as were many of you, I know. :D) really made a mark - and I was definitely cheering and chanting along with the live protesters! We are surely living in AMAZING times. We witnessed history in the making this weekend and, no matter what happens in the future (though I entirely envision a beautiful outcome. :)), I know that so many of us have made our voices heard, with Peace and Dignity and Divinity. And I know that makes the globalists VERY scared. :D

Lots of Love to everybody!!! My Heart is so full in knowing there are others out there who are intending and fighting for a beautiful World! <3

Oh! And regarding Garett Cavett (the veteran who was vaccinated and sexually assaulted.): Apparently, he was picked up a SECOND time Saturday because he and a small group of people were standing on the street (not WAY out in it, but still.), and the cops came in and SPECIFICALLY nabbed him. His chip probably beeped or something. :P

Also! There was a guy yesterday morning who I haven't yet seen more on (not like with Garett.) who was telling Alex that he'd received the same treatment - he was also nabbed Thursday. <3

I appreciated AJ's coverage of Bilderberg as much as the next person. I mean honestly ya'll, when he gets on a roll with that megaphone, it's tough not to get a little fired up huh?(LOL) But you know, I also see a great dichotomy in this whole deal.

1) A certain, and very vital part of me is thrilled to see the spotlight shined on these shadow people. Make no bones about the fact that for those of us who are here to see "The Long Walk" through, there may very well involve a lot more intense moment of truth, than what happened with the occassional psy ops from police we saw on live feed there. The old "if you can't stand the heat" comes to mind. This is for all the marbles.

2) At the same time, I see very clearly that the only way through this situation we find ourselves in, requires not to shine the light of truth on these people at all cost, but past these people at all cost.

Curiouser and curiouser.

Cheers All,
Fred

one thing the elites love is privacy, so make their faces public, and where they live, what they own, what they do , where they go, shine the spotlight on them so bright , there is no more dark places for them to hide and do their insane deeds on humanity . take their privacy. they take ours , so now it's their turn. to the ptb , your time is up, the world will be free from your control forever ...

I always find it interesting with these vids and general 'disturbance' vids in general...
we all love to grandstand and say how bad and f'd up the world is and how we want change, but none of us are willing to lay it on the line... Seriously...
Any of you remember tianamen(?) sq? Remeber that guy standing in front of a fleet of tanks? thats commitment to your freedom! that is passion!

I admin I am an armchair activist... but don't show up at these things if your just wanting to spectate... Get your clothes dirty, your hands bloody, and put yourself on the line. have trust in your fellow humans to support you, and get in there and be the change.
Otherwise, just sit back in the comfort of your home like me, and alot of others on this planet and cry about the ills of the world, and find the change in other ways. But dont pretend your willing to do what it takes if your really f'n not!

in all honesty we don't need to protest, we don't need to get our clothes dirty or our hands bloody and we don't need to put ourselves on the line.... what we need to do in mass is close our bank accounts.

this would bring them to there knees.

Bilderberg 2012: Ken Clarke's drive of shame/Bilderberg Members Label Protesters “Cockroaches”

4 June 2012

Britain's lord chancellor Ken Clarke looks a little weary as he makes a late appearance at a pleasantly chaotic Bilderberg.

Ken Clarke was the last man out. I'm not surprised he was late up. Britain's lord chancellor had the beery sheen and aspirin eyes of a man who'd found the closing banquet of Bilderberg 2012 more than usually chillaxing. He looks like he's been pulled through a hedge fund backwards. I'm not even sure he's wearing trousers.

Poor Ken. It can't be easy for him, trying to reconcile being an MP, the minister for justice and a member of Bilderberg's steering committee. Imagine having interests so conflicted. No wonder if he's got a sweat on. Plus, he's trying his best to champion transparency, trumpeting it as "the most effective public inoculation against corruption that any country can have", while refusing to talk about the Bilderberg conference or any of the steering committee meetings.

Back in 1994, Clarke thundered in parliament about "the desirability of greater transparency of decisions on monetary policy", but these days he's having to thrash it out in private with the heads of the major banks. What a nightmare.

Another tired face belonged to Bassma Kodmani, the head of foreign affairs for the Turkey-based Syrian National Council.

Being handed power by a cartel of banks can be a tiring business. Photograph: Carter Osmar

She looks a sad little puppet. I'd have thought she'd look happier, having had the hawks of Bilderberg cluck around her for the weekend, planning her new country. It's no wonder they've taken Bassma under their wing. After all, she spent seven years at the Ford Foundation. She's "one of them".

Happier than Bassma is Karen Field, a satisfied protester from Baltimore. She befriended an insider from the venue and came away with the hot gossip from the conference. A great deal of heavy flirting and some awkward lip dodging earned her this admission:

"We had a load of the hotel staff gathered round a computer in the back office, watching Alex Jones – and they're all rooting for him." Grinning through gritted teeth at the banksters. It makes you wonder what ended up in the soup. No wonder Ken looks queasy.

As for the conference: "He told me that they don't just all sit together in a big room – which is what I always thought – but they have tons of separate rooms and they split up for the meetings. The first ones are after 4.30 on Thursday." Between meetings, says Karen's source, all the delegates talk about is "money, just money". The source told her: "They don't tip, although four years ago he got $20 from Henry Kissinger's aide. This year, no one got anything." Fair enough, there's a recession on.

Four years ago, Bilderberg was here at this same hotel. And according to Karen's leak: "In 2008 Queen Beatrix got the penthouse suite. This year, Kissinger got it." What better reward for a distinguished old man accused by some of war crimes?

Karen's flirty staffer is the biggest Bilderberg leak in a long while. I picked up a couple of smaller tidbits myself. I was helping a cop move a security cordon near some trees, when he lowered his voice and casually let slip: "We don't support Bilderberg, trust me." And there's what a hotel employee told me as he drove through the gates of the hotel. He lowered his window and beckoned me over. "I want you to know that they call you people 'cockroaches'. I work in the hotel and they asked me if those cockroaches were still out there. They meant you."

That's nice. A nearby live-streamer, Sky Adams, laughed when I told him, and said: "Well, at least cockroaches are indestructible. They keep coming back." I'm sure the organisers of Bilderberg will be delighted to know that. As the last limousines purred off to their private jets, the admin team were lining up for a souvenir snapshot, when up strolled three fearless citizen journalists, cameras whirring, live streams streaming. Mayhem ensued:

Shrieks, hands to the lens, various escortings from the premises. A lovely moment ruined. I almost feel sorry for them.

“Anti-Democratic” World Government Advocate Attends Bilderberg

FT writer Rachman outlined plan for global UN dictatorship

Monday, June 4, 2012

Financial Times writer Gideon Rachman was in attendance at this year’s 2012 Bilderberg Group conference, no doubt to further the agenda he advanced in a December 2008 FT article (http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/7a03e5b6-c541-11dd-b516-000077b07658,Authorised=false.html?_i_location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ft.com%2Fcms%2Fs%2F0%2F7a03e5b6-c541-11dd-b516-000077b07658.html&_i_referer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.prisonplanet.com%2Fanti-democratic-world-government-advocate-attends-bilderberg.html#axzz1wtJB83vu) in which he argued that “everything is in place” for a dictatorial world government to be imposed by a technocratic elite.

Rachman was spotted entering the conference in Chantilly Virginia by London Guardian journalist Charlie Skelton.

http://static.prisonplanet.com/p/images/june2012/040612rachman.jpg

In his 2008 article And now for a world government (http://www.ft.com/intl/cms/s/7a03e5b6-c541-11dd-b516-000077b07658,Authorised=false.html?_i_location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ft.com%2Fcms%2Fs%2F0%2F7a03e5b6-c541-11dd-b516-000077b07658.html&_i_referer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.prisonplanet.com%2Fanti-democratic-world-government-advocate-attends-bilderberg.html#axzz1wtJB83vu), Rachman admitted that the elite’s plan for a global government was inherently undemocratic in nature.

“International governance tends to be effective, only when it is anti-democratic,” he wrote, citing the continual rejection of EU expansion when the question is put to a vote. “In general, the Union has progressed fastest when far-reaching deals have been agreed by technocrats and politicians – and then pushed through without direct reference to the voters,” added Rachman.

Rachman’s world government would function like the European Union. “It would be an entity with state-like characteristics, backed by a body of laws. The European Union has already set up a continental government for 27 countries, which could be a model. The EU has a supreme court, a currency, thousands of pages of law, a large civil service and the ability to deploy military force,” he wrote.

In addition, the authoritarian global government would impose “A legally binding climate-change agreement negotiated under the auspices of the UN and the creation of a 50,000-strong UN peacekeeping force,” according to Rachman.

Rachman also notes that such an agenda would have to be established through euphemistic language to avoid “people reaching for their rifles in America’s talk-radio heartland”.

The FT writer explained how the imposition of world government was now “plausible” because it could be more easily justified by the financial crisis, “global warming” and the “global war on terror.”

Rachman’s 2008 call for authoritarian technocrats to be put in charge of the global economy in preparation for the official birth of global government is now well on its way to completion, with the economies of France, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Greece, along with the IMF and the European Central Bank, all under Goldman Sachs banker occupation.

I have challenged Rachman to a debate on his view that “everything is in place” for an authoritarian world government to be imposed by his Bilderberg chums. Read the email below.

Gideon,

I’m guessing your war criminal friend Henry Kissinger was receptive to the ideas outlined in your “and now for a world government” piece?

Oh I’m sorry, I forgot that over 100 of the world’s power brokers jet half way across the world for three days just for a nice dinner and a game of golf.

So when’s your report on Bilderberg 2012 going to appear in the FT?

I know I know, Wolfie (Martin Wolf – FT editor and Bilderberg member) would never allow such heresy.

Were you one of the snobs labeling us all cockroaches?

Come on, Gideon, there’s still time for you to turn away from the dark side.

I challenge you to a debate on the Alex Jones Show – do you have the balls?

The fact that they are coming out into the open is part of the plan. It is called 'the Reveal'.

It will be done over time, and in such a way, so that they will appear to be the good guys...and the protestors will look like a sour grapes rabble, who have little or no understanding about what is actually in the world's best interest.

Beware and be clever.

Final List of Participants:

http://www.bilderbergmeetings.org/participants2012.html

This article says that list is not accurate

The official list is nonsense

The Washington Post saw Bill Gates come in. And I’ve got three eyewitnesses from inside who confirmed he was here. This is his ear:

You won’t see the names Mitt Romney or Bill Gates on the officially released Final List of Participants because, well, the list is a nonsense. It’s nothing like a complete list of people who attend Bilderberg. It’s a smokescreen, a bit of spin. So can we all, please, stop repeating it as gospel?

Bilderberg 2012: Mitt Romney and Bill Gates were there

By Charlie Skelton, The Guardian
Wednesday, June 6, 2012 2:59 EDT
Another conference over. Charlie Skelton talks to some of the 800 activists outside the gates to find out what they learned

What a Bilderberg it’s been. Big names, big money, big decisions, big crowds. Somewhere around 800 activists outside the gates (up from about a dozen in 2009), and inside? Well, here’s what we learned.

A Mitt Romney attendance?

Four eyewitnesses on the hotel staff told me Willard Mitt Romney was here at Bilderberg 2012. My four eyewitnesses place him inside. That’s one more than Woodward and Bernstein used. Romney’s office initially refused to confirm or deny his attendance as Bilderberg is “not public”. They later said it was not him.

So, was he being crowned, or singing for his supper? Will Mitt Romney follow in the august footsteps of Clinton, Cameron and Blair to have attended Bilderberg and then shortly become leader? Four years ago, Senator Obama shook off his press detail and nipped (many think) into Bilderberg. This exact same hotel.

Did Romney have to get down on one knee in front of David Rockefeller? This sounds flippant, but it’s a serious question: has Bilderberg switched allegiance? Are they going to toss away Obama after just one term?

I put this question to author and Bilderberg expert Webster Tarpley. Is Wall Street going to throw its chips in with Romney? “I think there’s a frisson that’s gone through the ruling class against Obama,” he says. The leak we had from the flirty hotel staffer corroborated this. “They don’t seem to like Obama very much,” he said.

Tarpley’s conclusion is this: “They want Romney and Mitch Daniels, who will run together as moderate rightists.” Governor Daniels of Indiana was on the official list.

The Syrian war is on

Attending Bilderberg 2012 as an ‘international’ participant was Bassma Kodmani.

So who is Bassma Kodmani? The answer to that question is also the answer to the question: what the hell is happening in Syria? This is where it gets interesting (and worrying) for Bilderberg followers.

Kodmani was at Bilderberg in 2008, the last time it was here in Chantilly. She is a member of the European Council on foreign relations – its parent group, the council on foreign relations, is a sort of über lobby group, a couple of rungs down from Bilderberg, but still hugely powerful.

There’s a lot of CFR/Bilderberg crossover. Honorary chairman of both is David Rockefeller; co-chairman of the CFR is Robert Rubin (he was here); and on the CFR’s board of directors are Fouad Ajami and Henry Kravis, both at Bilderberg 2012.

Bassma Kodmani is also the executive director of the Arab Reform Initiative. This body, set up in 2004 by the CFR, is helping to steer “a comprehensive process” of “democratic reform” in the region. In 2005, the Syrian National Council came into being. Bassma Kodmani was a founding member, and is on the executive committee. Kodmani is one of the SNC’s two spokespeople, alongside Radwan Ziadeh (who has a flawless Washington pedigree – look him up). According to its website, the SNC is a non profit public policy research organization register in the District of Colombia and headquartered in Washington DC. Just up the road.

I asked Tarpley about Kodmani. He doesn’t mince words. “She’s a Nato agent, a destabilizer, a colour revolution queen. The fact that Kodmani was there is a scary one for Syria”, says Tarpley.

To those gathered outside, at least, it looks increasingly like, at this year’s Bilderberg, the war of regime change got signed off. In the airport lobby, on the way home from Bilderberg, I looked up at a TV monitor to see Bilderberg attendee and CFR board member Fouad Ajami talking about how Syria is about to become another Libya. That sound you can hear? It’s all those juicy defence contracts being scratched out around Chantilly. Fuel the jets and open the champagne, boys. We’re going in.

Occupy Bilderberg turned up

A statement of support from Occupy London was read out at Occupy Bilderberg. A symbol of Anglo-American unity, like Bilderberg itself. The statement protested against (amongst other things): the rise of an undemocratic “technocracy” – a “network of cronies” in which financial “experts”, largely from the international banking community, who have been appointed rather than elected, are handed the reins of government.

So here you’ve got the (broadly speaking) liberal left protest movement, with its anti-corruption and pro-transparency agenda, finding common ground with US libertarians and an anti-Obama, anti-fascist, pro-union New Deal American like Webster Tarpley.

As Tarpley says: “Bilderberg creates a singularity, where a lot of seemingly disparate things come together.” That applies not just to the people inside – megabank money and government – outside the security cordon you’ve got Occupy Bilderberg rubbing shoulders with US veterans, German students who’ve flown over for the event, truckers from Michigan, Orthodox Jews, Ron Paul supporters, anarcho-syndicalists, academics and grandmothers. Why? In the words of the statement from Occupy London: “the profound denial of a participatory, direct democracy which the Bilderberg Conference represents.”

Mainstream news turned up

Finally. The Washington Times sent Ben Wolfgang, the Guardian sent Ryan Devereaux and the Times of London actually tried to get a journalist inside – Alexandra Frean was turned away at the gates. But she tried. At least she tried. That’s a start. We can work with that.

Internet ID

There was speculation before the conference that on the Bilderberg agenda this year would be how to implement a unique EU internet ID. Who would be pushing that through? Step up Neelie Kroes, EU commissioner for digital agenda.

Presumably Eric Schmidt (Google) and Reid Hoffman (LinkedIn) would have been sharing podium-space with Bill Gates at that session. That’s if there was one, of course.

Collin versus the new world order

I’m not sure global governance stands a chance against Collin Abramowicz. Here – by popular request – is a last blast from the frontline of the resistance:

Hopefully Collin and I will see you all again in 2013. You can email me at bilderberg2013@yahoo.co.uk – if we had 800 this year, I think we could be having ourselves a party. The Bilderburgers are on me.
