View Full Version : Hearsay and Truth – Wild Speculation or Common Sense Logic

WOW! Sometimes I have to turn the TV on and watch CNN and Fox News for a few minutes just to get grounded again after reading or listening to some of the things that some claim as absolute truth or reality! Just surf the web and alternative media/news sites and you'll get a grasp of what I'm talking about!
We all have the right to believe in what we want too, but in this day and age of mass lies and deception running rampant and infiltrating almost every aspect of our lives for the most part, perhaps having a bit of common sense and a bit more evidence other than hearsay would greatly benefit one's path towards truth. Much of what is claimed as fact, truth, or reality for many is not even based on circumstantial evidence in my opinion.
I seriously think insanity has taken a grip on humanity in almost every area of our lives, I see it sometimes in my own life, but I do my best to control myself from being controlled by what I perceive as lies and misleading spiritual, physical, and mind altering aggression.
I for one will not allow myself to be controlled or blindly led by another through what I perceive as hearsay, outrageous claims, or wild speculation. Perhaps because of this I will miss the rapture or ascension bus and not get to experience the spectacular ride through the galaxies with the ET's or to be with a bearded God as many claim to be the absolute truth........but I look in the mirror and at all of the creation that surrounds me on this "spectacular" planet called Earth and I know that in at least the physical and spiritual sense that I am exactly where I belong, at home. When I die and nothing else happens, so what? At least I got to experience "something" for a brief moment in time....if my spark of spirit continues on that'll be great too, will I remember being here? Who knows? No one knows what is truly beyond life as we know it.
It's good to think and take most everything in at least some consideration, but when certain things amount to nothing more than hearsay, outrageous claims, or wild speculation....to be swallowed up in it is being controlled by it and some of the really important things in life, such as truth and opportunities, may pass you by......as I’ve often said before, I may not know everything, but this is how I seriously feel at the moment and just wanted to share it with those that care to listen and ponder upon it, if you’re not interested in what I think, well that's fine with me too.

Note: I try to keep an open mind and consider all possibilities, but I’ve learned over the years that when something doesn’t feel right in my mind, heart, soul, and spirit, well, then it most likely isn’t right or true. Trust in your “self” first and foremost and keep your heart and mind connected at all times in your journey for peace within and the truth.

Hey mate,
The problem is our minds.
You know, the educational system, television, shallow entertainment, the government and everything else in this system, have been doing a terrific job messing with people´s minds.
Once your mind is messed up, people can "resonate" with the most absurd things.
A completely unbalanced mind can´t perceive things correctly, which ends up leading to insanity, when people lose the ability to distinguish fact from fiction, fantasy from reality.
It starts when you´re just a kid, and people force you to believe in Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, Religion and all sorts of fairy tails.
When you grow up a bit, and find out that these things weren´t real, it causes a great trauma, first, because you find out that your own parents, who were supposed to tell you the true, were lying.
So, when a kid finally finds out what´s the real deal, it may hurt a lot. Reality may be very ugly, depending on several factors.
Basically, when people find out reality, it hurts so much that they want to go back living in a fantasy world, because it´s much more pleasant.
Some people will do anything to deny reality and I don´t actually blame them.
Anyone is free to come down here to Brazil, then I´ll take you to a favela and show you a bit of reality...
To sum up, when people believe such huge amount of nonsense, they are just trying to compensate the huge gap left by their first reality shock, which happened in their childhood, when they first found out that everything people was telling them was a lie.
People are traumatized and, as always, the subconscious try to compensate for such traumas in the most weird ways.
Cheers,
Raf.

I agree yet I also feel it is also a symptom of many not using their inner knowing such as "thinking/feeling with their heart", keeping the heart mind connection, connected.....some may call this "the gut feeling" also, or "following your gut". Thinking with the mind alone is well, limiting yourself to say the least. I am a firm believer in the "heart mind connection" so to speak, and trusting this connection before all things, especially in this day and age.
I'm also a firm believer in that we are more than just physical matter, that we are also of spirit....and that we as species have been severely suppress and or damaged spiritually over the centuries.....this has really messed up the minds and hearts of many too in my opinion.
You mention trauma; yes, we are a very severely traumatized species in many many ways, mostly of our own doing and the way we've treated each other over the centuries and even now. I feel the great awakening has much to do with the understanding and realization that we are coming to terms with now concerning our behavior and choices....our recognizing the spirit of ourselves and all things again. (we used to know this at one time and lived by it).....and it wasn't religion, it was simple just nature and creation, the universal law that surrounds us.
Religion and other forms of control and suppression systems have severed the heart-mind connect, knock the spirit out of us to a large extent, and has stunted our growth and ability to, well, understand and or find the truth easily, when in fact, the truth stares us in the face constantly and is really simple for the most part and can be found just looking around and seeing/observing nature, creation, and the natural/universal law of all things available to us.....Nature doesn't lie to us.....

Great post, SilentFeathers
There is no doubt we are in a struggle between matter and spirit...and matter seems to be at the forefront lately,....but we can overcome this...if we don't lose hope, if we don't give in to the confines of material ...and remember our connection to the spiritual....
Thanks for your post.

A lot of folks may find RMorgan's explanation simplistic from the ADULT perspective but from the , 'then' child's perspectives it is a trauma. Children carry trauma into a adulthood because they have no means of working it out. As adults they dismiss it as childhood petulance so never give themselves the opportunity to work these things out.
Parent's assign their first roles to their children and myself used the Santa Claus phenom as an example of parasitical activity. A overt attempt to make something real that is not real.
All humans for thousands of years have been promised SOMETHING that has failed to show up as RMorgans thread on failed predictions has shown. Christ's return to save them being the most prevalent. The early nature of these promises were pretty gloomy--death, doom, apocalypse, end of the world, evaporation of everything by an all powerful date on a calendar that is not omnipotent at all but a manmade arrangement of days.
Recently things are just arranged different so that sudden overnight doom is a 'happy' thing, mean to turn you into a beam of light here on earth . These are not things that people dreamed up on their own, we have a herd of 'spiritual' gurus vapidly and obviously focused on the physical pulling the Santa Claus routine. They put the notion in their heads. Where would vast amounts of people be thinking if not for David Wilcock and his ilk, and the Sheldon Nidles and their ilk.
Ascension a phenom pulled directly from the same Bible that these gurus claim is 'dogmatic, and negative.'
Apparently not so dogmatic and negative as to be excluded from their own dogma.
And resonance that all important 'truth bearer' is often times merely finding a new thought that sounds familiar because its based in an old belief system. It gives one a thrill of familiarity , so of course it must be true . Or spiritual. Most of this 'someone is coming to save us' dogma is just re-manufactured Christianity with some re-furbished Buddhism to give it some sophistication. That's why it resonates--it sounds familiar.

To take this childhood trauma a step further from lies and deception from day one in many cases, how about the breakdown of the family unit and community, especially just in the last 40 years or so??? This has caused many children to grow up lacking the most important ingredient of life which is love. Not to mention structure.....many children of today have their spirit broken very early in life, we see the results of this lack of love and a broken spirit everywhere and it isn't pretty....
....and then to top it all off with constant lies and deception through out life, it's no wonder the truth or reality, hope and peace, is so hard to find.

It's pretty epidemic. Regardless of how one feels about the Zietgiest's theories it brought up the very same thing, disconnection from parents at an early age for whatever reason, from direct neglect and abuse to unwitting and quite unintentional neglect. Referred to as proximal abandonment; the parents are in the home but may be so focused on keeping the domicile in tact have very little time or anything left over for their children. Covert neglect.
The feminist movement contributed to that as well in a carefully orchestrated way of 'giving' empowerment when it was a just a means of luring women out of the home and onto the tax rosters.
Psychological trauma of this nature is rampant in America even amongst adults in their 40's and 50's and those even older. I still can't give over my amazement of men and women in their fifties indulging in this fantastical "a ship will be here shortly to save you" fables.
Co-dependency (another is responsible for one's emotional welfare and well being) and depression are epidemic in America too and directly related to all of this. Now co-dependency is confused for 'love'. And you see that abused as well by the prevalency of people who are inappropriately 'love' messaging all and sundry. Love, love , love. Love is used as judgemental hedging device. Entire threads devoted in a rather hysterically hectic way by those who want to express their love to 'everyone' . I love everyone! so now we even have love further distorted and paraded around in a un-sacred way --for attention--rather than its intended expression.
When its obvious they couldn't possibly having no idea and only a one dimensional view of multi faceted people, and leads me to know some of these people are akin to the chick in highschool that used to put out to all and sundry for attention, confusing love and sex.
Much of the fantastic fables we hear about everything or something magically fixing everything for us is simply leveraging these trauma programs.
On the home front out of the alt spirituality and alt media (which are becoming insidiously entwined too.) is the expression of the welfare state or the Nanny state in my physical life.
It is not in the least unusual for people to show up for riding lessons dressed in thong bathing suits and flip flops. Its not in the least unusual for them to be angry when I deny them riding lessons because riding a horse in a bathing suit is surely going to damage them; and because they are idiots its up to me to keep them safe Imposing this 'savior' role on me. And then of course angry at me for telling them what they need to know rather than what they want to hear.
Or to request riding lessons and then tell me they can't pay for them. I am not above bartering lessons but neither do they want to work for them. The puzzled expressions on their faces (what? me? work??!!) always gets me.
Like I'm state's assistance and instead of food stamps they should be given riding lessons.
Or responding to advertisements for riding lessons only to be crestfallen to find out that they aren't free.
Or wanting to jump in a cross country course when they can't ride and threatening to sue me because I'm not letting them commit suicide on my horses.
In bathing suits and flip flops.
My great failing is when I got of the spirituality ego-ism and back to basics I thought I'd not have to put up with this ****e anymore but I was wrong. It's epidemic and its everywhere and the alt media and alt spirituality paradigms do not make people immune to it.
Unfortunately because they have latched onto a 'someone will be here shortly to save you' belief they think they are.
To expand a little on what's written above, the lack of love and attention in early childhood creates apathy. These children have undeveloped mental capacity. The pre-frontal cortex does not function correctly, if at all. The frontal cortex is what separates us from all other species. It is the advancement beyond the reptilian or limbic brain. The frontal cortex is where the conscience lies. Without affection these kids become animals, absent any caring or empahty to others - no conscience. They become selfish, self-centered adults and often ego-manical. They can blow your brains out and go straight to the ice cream shop. They have little reasoning and logic skills. They think like cold blooded reptiles.
The excellent book Emotional Intelligence explains exactly how this lack of love results in sociopathic behavior or worse.

Thanks for your comment and info; I have researched a bit in to this but have not read the book you mentioned, I'll have to check it out. Another great book that relates to this subject in a sense is "In the Mind of a Serial Killer", I believe that's the title, I have the book at home but I am not at home to double check. This book of course focuses on the most severe cases, but mentions much about what you say in your post, it always has something to do with childhood development and lack of love and or structure, many of these serial killers were very cruel to animals and others when young and although some were very intelligent, they were not very logical emotionally and morally etc...interesting topic for sure.....glad I fully don't understand it! :)
Many were also extremely gifted liars and deceivers, common sense to them was only a tool for self preservation or protection to a large extent.

Thanks Silent feather, your post was just what I needed to Read,, I agree with you too, I have decided to be me Just me What will be will be, im not going to worry and enjoy each day to the best of my ability, living in the moment not in fear. I read alot and have learned to not believe everything just because i have read it but I feel it is filed back just incase I need to retrieve the information. I Have been feeling odd myself latley, Bored just plain bored of this repetitive life, sometimes I wish just one of the predictions would happen just to get out of this nasty planet we live on or at least the tyrants that run it. I have made my Home my place of retreat and for the past two years I have been driven to save back water, seeds, food, weapons, ect. Although I never thought two years ago I would be where I am now. I have learned more for myself and my own spirituality than all the rest of my life combined. I Understand that we are all in this together and that we are all connected that we are all indeed Gods incarnate but i truly believe that we have been lied to brainwashed and so much that what we thought we now as real really is not real. Used to Keep us enslaved to the system, money, taxes, mortgages, intrest, prisions, preachers, priests. Just forms of slavery. I see the world know with open eyes But I Choose to not live in fear and living each day, one day at time, working in my garden, taking care of my animals and being thankful for what I have. Understanding that what I have Is because I made it Happen because God is Within and at the end of the day Maybe we are not suppose to know everything just to do the best we can and love and live Happy lives creating our own realities and being responsible for our own actions.
Many years ago researchers conducted a test with baby chimps. One group of baby chimps was fed, played with, and cared for in a loving fashion. The second group of babies were simply fed, then left alone with no social interaction at all. The first group thrived. The second did not, they died.
In order to grow, learn, and interact with others young children need lots of love and attention. They are immensely insecure and need lots of emotional support. The lack of love and affection from parents, especially mothers, is one reason for so much gang activity. The youngsters crave a sense of belonging and they find it in the gang. Sadly for most, once the window of opportunity closes, they can seldom be set on a correct course. They do not care for themselves, much less anyone else. Isolation is the result for some. Acting out violently for others.
Most of us, when riled or aggravated, will go through an instantaneous reasoning process. "Yeah, better to let it go and calm down". Whereas the person with inadequate frontal cortex processing will pull a gun and kill, then go through the reasoning process. One minute later, "Oops, maybe I shouldn't have done that". The social misfit does not have the ability to filter behavior and most often simply does not care.

Thanks for your words! It's a breath of fresh air to hear such common sense and logical thinking.....
It is what it is and we can only do the best we can and change what we can, nothing more, I am doing much the same as you around my sanctuary/home too, I am happy and blessed with what I have and don't spend all that much time worrying about what I don't have, some things are meant to be and others things, well, everything has it's time..........it's a beautiful world if looked at in a certain wayl There's a little bit of everything here!
