Excerpt from Mike Bost's rant:

You should be ashamed of yourself.
Every year we give power to one person.
It was not made that way in the constitution.
Now we pass rules, that sto(m)p each one of us.
Enough!
Let my people go.
They sent me here to vote for them, to argue for them.

He's mad as hell not going to take it anymore, it seems.

He probably hardly ever felt that alive before.

And all those other reps go out and get into their Mercs and BMWs and Lexus SUVs and morosely try not to think about too much
on their lonely drives back home.

See this is what happens when light descends into the hearts of real men.

All power to him!

Awesome.

We dont give power to one person that i disagree with. Obama is powerless. Its The Invisible dictators above him that have the power.
Last 4 Words by The Ill. Rep "When's it gonna stop?" Good Question. You might be the right candidate to stop it. Nice Post Christian.

I think he is referring to the post of "the Speaker of the House" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speaker_of_the_United_States_House_of_Representatives) not the post of "the President"... He complaints at the end about "being trapped by the rules pushed down the throat" and that "the speaker has so much power"...

Every Parliament has internal rules defining procedures for submitting projects of new statutes, for scheduling speeches & questions during parliament sessions. It can be designed in such a way that practically speaking there is no democracy at all in it :(

I find it interesting to watch the people around him as well. The woman directly behind him is smirking, seems quite amused. Everyone else . . . are they present at all? They look like they're barely alive. Little response at all.

I wish all our still good reps would lash out like that. Not only that but
get our military involved by taking back our government and giving it
back to the people.

Give me a week, with full powers as president and i'll see to it that
congress makes all the laws. The president will only be a figurehead.

There would be no more lobbyist either. This would an act of treason.

Should things get out of hand again, there would be a special military outfit,
ready at all times, to clear out the government and give power back to
the people.

WOW! I'm blown away!
Finally, it's starting to happen, folks! How many of the sheep in that room will start thinking the same thing?

Humanalien, you have too much trust in the military....They've been corrupted as well as the politicians.... WE the People are the ones who will get the traitors out of office. But we have to root out the "deep pockets" first.... They're the real problem in our country. What Americans need to realize that if the US govt falls apart, the country will not. Each state will take care of their own. And it'll make it easier for the states to root out the traitors at that level, too.

This happens quite often, they complain and bash each other on the floor and then afterwards go have a steak and beer together and laugh about things.....(and after dinner gobble down all there medications)

Some of the largest crimes in US history that recently happened they do not arrest those individuals involved but hold a "congressional or committee hearing" and those in question plead the fifth and walk away freely from criminal offenses to their million dollar mansions...no one seems to be held accountable for anything other than a sex crime that tarnishes the whole "gang" or if someone steps out of bounds with the brotherhood initiation agreements and draws to much attention and or like behavior. I've watched several of these hearings and they are beyond ridiculous!

It's all just a dog and pony show to let the masses know that their tax dollars are hard at work trying to fix the problems many are complaining about (and many people buy into this "acting")....quite pathetic in my opinion that we have allowed things to get as they are.....

these critters can pass a law that demands that anyone with smelly arm pits are breaking the clean air act and will be arrested and you'd probably see out of fear a mad rush towards deodorant products and many people happy to pay fines or be jailed if they forgot to put there deodorant on for a day.........it's way beyond ridiculous!

Most of these political leaders are just duped as many others are and are controlled through fear tactics.....fear of losing their job and their gravy pay checks.

What nice excuses you are giving these greedy dishonest bastards. Oh it's not their fault, they are duped like many of us. Give me a break.

The people that man represented must be very proud that their man is sticking up for them. I know he will be re-elected when the time comes. We used to have polititians in Scotland who were representing their electorate but nowadays hardly any at all. Unfortunately.

I just say it as I see it, I think many are duped....I didn't say this to excuse there behavior but perhaps to suggest this may be just one of many causes that they behave in such a way.....I'm sure many are bought off and do things against their morals/ethics etc in order to keep their job.....regardless, I don't know why I'm even responding to this again, I said what I felt at the moment, right or wrong I stand by it.

Thanks for your concern aranuk. I'm not well liked here because i like to speak
my mind. Some people don't like to hear that. It doesn't matter though, because
i'm not here for the Thanks anyway. I'd rather see bill get rid of this feature of
the forum.

Someone mentioned that all of our military are corrupt but i beg to differ. Look
on youtube and you will find a lot of current and ex military that are very tired
of the way things are going in america. They are sick of our government being
so out of control.

They have already stated that if our government sends them into the streets of
america, to kill and arrest citizens, they will not comply with those orders.

I only wish that they would all join together, right now, and arrest all the corrupt
generals and other officers and then head to the whitehouse and start cleaning house.

He would be the only one in the room I would trust to try and do the right thing for everyone. the people around him could care less, they ALL should be fired, they should be standing up with him shouting , he's right , enough already, bringing out bills at the last second, making rules to stop the debate, voting on something without any disscussion or inquiry ?? how dumb is that, oh he a bill , whats in It ? don't know , but lets vote anyway and go on a two week break ...

Above the smirking lady, red arms clap in agreement with the speaker, if it is the case the rest of the reps disagreed they did not vocalise this, all i saw were people who knew exactly what he was saying and being aware of the fact that they are on camera and tried to keep a straight face, keeping a straight face does not mean in any way shape or form you agree or disagree.

That man made some dangerous comments and the listeners just looked like they know it is true but felt powerless to do anything about it, reps have families to feed too and responsabilities to their voters, Wheter or not it is usefull to vocalise their agreement with said speaker is debatable simply because of the fact we might be dealing with good people who know their replacements could/ would be even worse for the people to deal with.

The man spoke his heart and mind, the rest DID hear this and thus WILL be influenced by it, time will tell what happens next.

Anyway, this will be discussed at the reps families dinner tables and funny faces and interesting things will be said to respective reps by their wifes, kids, friends, thats what i would like to witness. And untill they speak up about whats been discussed at that very dinner table and awe will never know what their true personal opinions are and how they are influenced/affected on a personal level by this.

That is what i saw, no more, no less.

If I were president for a week, I'd arrest the "deep pockets" and those with a history of corruption. I'm a veteran, so I know there are good guys in the ranks. In fact, I'm willing to bet the corruption is way at the top. To bad for the bottom.... The military is programmed to follow orders, even if they don't like them. So, I wouldn't mind ordering them to begin arresting the greedy, corrupt b*stards. I'm thinking that the FEMA camps won't be enough to house all of them. I'd make sure that none of these rich, spoiled pukes get into a Club Fed either. I'd make it illegal to have separate prisons for the rich... They'll experience prison life like everyone else. As punishment for their crimes and atrocities: No swimming pools and golf courses. No catered meals. No comfy beds and servants.... Only a prison yard to do laps in....

It will be one busy week!

I watched Illinois State Rep Mike Bost's video this morning. Sent him a congratulatory email and now I see the video has been taken down by Youtube due to 'copyright blah blah by "Advanced Digital Media". I ran unsuccessfully for Missouri State Rep in 1996 after a term in the Missouri Silver Haired Legislature as a senator where I often noted others "almost asleep" during sessions.
