It never fails to amaze me that there may be those who think there's nothing intelligent out there in the vast reaches of space; I just have to take a look at the ants and other insects we see everywhere and wonder how little they know of the greater world(s) beyond their own little patch they exist on - are we really so very different to them? Ultimately, we're just like they are, but on a slightly higher level - we're still tiny in the grand scheme of things, both in terms of size and understanding but it sure is going to be fun to explore. :)
