The X-files, a seemingly OK and interesting show dealing with "taboo" issues. If one was going to subtly influence the minds of those who are more aware than the average citizen, this is the right kind of vehicle.

Let us consider the two underlying messages of the X-files:

The truth is out there

Trust no one

Easy to see how these fit into the agenda of separation. The truth is out there? This tells us that the truth is external to us, but with growing awareness comes the realisation that the truth is WITHIN US.

Trust no one? Separation in extremis, in both meanings of the Latin: to the furthest point, or to the point of death. If we trust no one, we cease to trust ourselves as well, because we are ALL ONE

So like the Matrix series, as well as the common stream of the major religions, we are subtly (and sometimes not so subtly) steered toward separation, and thus, disempowerment.

Most major religions have a "mystery school" wherein the true secrets are safeguarded, but these are largely inaccessible to the majority who are unschooled in symbolism and allegory, and who do not frequent their inner worlds.
