So, now it appears that we have evolved from sharks...hmmm. Will we ever know our true beginnings? At the moment, I don't know what to think about this...but I still found it interesting, figure you guys might find it interesting too.

Well, judging by our general behavior, I wouldn´t be surprised at all if this is true.

I am sort of under the impression that we were created by some higher form of intelligence, however, over time some of us,.....are now devolving into monkeys.

However, there are still some that are on the fence about lawyers evolving into sharks

Maybe we should ask the extraterrestrials that genetically engineered us what they think about this?

The article is not trying to disprove evolution or any other common belief:

"The primitive fish named Acanthodes bronni was the common ancestor of all jawed vertebrates on Earth – including mankind, according to new research."

Our DNA matches that of a chimpanzee 99%.

Anyways, there is definitely a sub specie of humans, devoid of empathy, mostly in the 1% of the controllers, that has definitly devolved to shark.....

You might wish to read and review Michael Creamo's book Forbidden Archaeology .
There appears to be a scientific abundance of evidence to support that Human beings anatomically the same as present day human beings have been found in the fossil record that dates back over 800 million years.

Just so you understand, that would tend to preclude not only evolution but blow it out of the water.

Otherwise, try and explain how man http://bestanimations.com/Humans/Skeletons/funnyskeletonanimation-9.gif has been bouncing around on this planet at least close to 700 million years before the dinosaur age.

I read the article. A lot of liberty with interpretations to be able to use that headline. Sexy science has to find its' marketing phrases. They speak of a common ancestor from which both sharks and bony fish came from. Any connection would be from the bony fish side. The ones with spines instead of the cartilaginous notocords that sharks have. The headline is made possible by by a sort of x+y=z kind of thought process. The original article is very lame and just filler in a newspaper that is worthless propaganda and fluff anyway.

We have a lot of posts in Avalon quoting news articles. Most of the shocking ones boil down to this.
