Typhoon Guchol / Japan / Tokyo / Fukushima

My house is being blasted with 160mph sporadic winds. Feels like my roof is going to blow off.

It's on it's way now. Will pass over Tokyo soon they say.. Dam so it's going to get worse. News just said that it's speeding up and all flights have been cancelled. Including highways and shinkansens all stopped.

Then later on it'll do what it's going to do at Fukushima.. ouch !!

Best be careful! I just read on the nasa or some other weather site that this thing has a 52foot surge or wave action with it! isn't that higher than the tsunami that washed in to Fukushima????

On June 18 at 0900 UTC (5 a.m. EDT/U.S.) Guchol has maximum sustained wind near 105 knots (120.8 mph/194.5 kph), which makes it a Category three typhoon on the Saffir-Simpson scale. Typhoon-force winds extend 55 nautical miles (63 miles/102 km) from the center, while tropical-storm-force winds extend 165 nautical miles (190 miles/305 km), making the storm about 330 nautical miles (380 miles/611 km) in diameter. Guchol's storm surges pose a big threat, as it is generating 52 foot-high (~16 meters) seas.

It flew over really quick.. but y'know...I have an old house and it was shaking and antennas flying about the street just got me hyped and ready. We have had worse but when it's happening I tend to chat to everyone. I was on skype with a mate and he was laughing at the sound my house was making. Reason he was laughing was because I was more interested in my latest hobby. Making my home made mixes for my GGTS. (e-cig)

May as well give you the latest whilst I'm here...

The woman who went back to Fukushima to see her house and set herself on fire in front of her husband because of depression has finally made it to the news on CNN. This happened last July.
Thats because TEPCO are screaming blue murder because of losing money. Husband wants to sue them.

The first nuclear plant was restarted again because of the said need for air cons ect ect ect .. they had to switch it off again almost instantly because of problems.

Every weekend about 10,000 people march the streets in protests that never make it to any news. Only Yo0-TOob

Then a government official shot himself in the foot by saying in a stumble and mumble of words.. " everyone in Japan has radiation " lol then he caught himself and left the speech.
