THE PROCESS OF CLARITY.

This is a set of diagrams that may...or may not help to see, the process of clarity. The dotted line ----- represents our 'view'.

Sentient beings at street level:
The mind is taken up with thoughts about objects.
Essence is present, but we are unaware of it.
FLOWER-----EYE-----££$$**mind**@??!!-----ESSENCE.

Sentient beings aware of some sort of deeper awareness:
But we still have obscurations, so we practise being aware.
FLOWER-----EYE-----££$$**mind**@??!!-----ESSENCE.

Sentient/yogi having pure perception:
This at first is just a glimpse, a baby pure perception.
FLOWER-----EYE-----MIND-----ESSENCE.

Sentient/yogi - expressing essence - essence love.
Resting in pure perception, essence merely reflects...does nothing.
But because of love/compassion, a mere 'I' is used to interact with others, for their benefit.
FLOWER-----EYE-----mind?!-----ESSENCE.

When pure perception has stabilised and the mind has exhausted all clinging, then we may find ourselves...enlightened!

When someone comes up to you and says, “You are enlightened, and do not have to do anything, just be!” this is absolutely true....but, let's be honest, we do have problems! There is work to be done as mind is a tricky thing.

Ego is only the activity of our mind/consciousness clinging to ideas.

Hey Tony,

Nice to see with the eye what the mind is trying to comprehend.
Very Clarifying.

I saw this video with Adyashanti in it that greybeard posted recently, who talked about different forms of enlightenment.
3 forms actually and every single one of them feels as a whole enlightenment, so he says.
What you described here is a enlightenment of the mind.
There is also the enlightenment on the heart and the enlightenment of the gut.
He says that every one of them feels as a whole enlightenment because you then are holding the foot of the elephant which feels like your holding the elephant, and it does, but only the foot. :)

So, the enlightenment or spiritual awakening of the mind is only a step in the process of becoming, as I understood from this video.

Have you ever had a spiritual awakening?

kind regards,

Waky
