I am curious about Kundalini experiences and am looking to learn a lot more about them.
I'd appreciate anyone sharing their experience(s) here and if and how it may have changed your life.
I believe I had one about a decade ago with my then fiancé (since divorced). I was very much in love with him at the time and I think that my emotional state had a lot to do with why I had the Kundalini experience. It was really amazing and it felt like I left my body from out of the top of my head and went up and out into outer space very fast. Sadly, because it was spontaneous and I hadn't been prepared for it (at the time, I had no idea this type of experience even existed) I was startled and came racing back into my body as quickly as I had left.
I did have a profound effect on me but I didn't really appreciate what it was until just recently. I am now trying to train myself to be able to have it happen again, this time alone. I have started to practice Kundalini yoga but I wonder if there a other ways...

Hi Nearing,
I originally posted this experience in another thread so I'm just copying part of it over here so I don't have to retype. You can read the whole conversation at the link below, which I think is relevant to what you're asking here. At some point I will probably start a thread on this because I think this ability is very crucial to helping change our environment for the better. The quote below is a formal description from what I remember of the experience. Like you, it happened so suddenly that I didn't understand what I had done or the significance to the experience until recently- sure wish I had been paying attention more closely, but I think I got the general point clear enough. One thing that's important that I might not have made clear in my description below.....what I did was a thought process through my heart not my brain. And I believe it is the very reason I had the Kundalini. I don't think you necessarily have to have a Kundalini for it to work, you just have to change how you think. I have no formal training or knowledge in this arena. What I did truly was from the heart and nothing more, that is the secret. Humanity needs to take more of a heart approach when dealing with emotional baggage. Forgiveness and acceptance is key as those emotions will promote the higher frequencies of love and compassion. Hope this helps.
The conversation started at post #337 if you want to follow everything I said. Below is part of that conversation:
http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?45621-John-Kettler-ETs-EDs-Win-Crushing-Victory--Wipe-Out-Elite-Force-/page18
"As a child and young adult I grew up in a very verbally abusive situation at home. My father, who was a Navy Seal, was brutal. I could never do anything right, I was never good enough, blah, blah, blah, you've all heard this scenario before as it's quite common. Not only is it common to hear stories like this, but to be put in this type of situation is a common experience for star seeds. One of the characteristics of a star seed according to Jelaila Starr is that we typically have an adversarial relationship with the parent of the opposite sex(another example of how I've all ready lived what I'm reading about). So I was able to check the box off for this particular trait that identifies a star seed. Being put into this situation serves a purpose and that very purpose is why I had the Kundalini.
By the time I had hit my mid-twenties I was a mess. As hard as I tried to reason the unfair treatment I had been subjected to (this is 3D thinking now....always the victim), I could not seem to come to terms with what I could have done to make my parents turn on me in such a bad way throughout my entire time growing up. I ran down the whole list of criterias......I got good grades, I stayed out of trouble, heck I worked three jobs my senior year in high school and I was a Varsity athlete from my freshman year to my senior year. So I couldn't possibly come up with a legitimate reason as to why or what I could have done to create the situation I was in. While in college I finally came to a breaking point. I had to get over this or I was going down hill fast. I finally came to the conclusion that there was no rationalizing the situation no matter how hard I tried. Let me repeat this thought process as it's key....."there was no rationalizing the situation." This was not the point of the whole experience I had just lived my entire life. Because if I could have rationalized it, I probably wouldn't have had the Kundalini! Keep this point in mind when you apply the thought process to your own situation. I spent years in a vicious circle trying to make sense of the situation so I'm trying to help you avoid the same trap. Be aware that some situations can't be rationalized in the manner you would expect.
So in the next few moments before the Kundalini, this was the thought process. In one hand I accepted and embraced all the bad from the relationship for what it was and I was grateful. In the other hand, I accepted and embraced all the good from that relationship for what it was and I was grateful. The acceptance of both polarities, positive and negative was the integration point. Integration point being love and compassion. The moment of this integration point was when I had the Kundalini. It felt like an orgasm. I'm sorry there is no other word to describe it, so I have to utilize that one so you understand what it feels like. It's a rush, basically and it goes right out your crown chakra.
What I had done was play what's called The Polarity Integration Game. Again yet another example of having the experience and then reading about it later on and making another dot connection to the truth. According to Jelaila Starr, this is the game of the light and dark the game of duality. So if this all malarkey, than why I am I having all these experiences that these people from the alternative community are writing about? One comes to the conclusion that something really is going on in a manner in which you can no longer ignore. The opportunity put before me by being exposed to a negative and painful situation allowed me to forgive through love and compassion. Had I been able to "rationalize" this situation most likely I would have missed the whole point as I would have used my 3D perspective to reason away the experience.
What I did was "transmute" energy. I believe by transmuting the energy I activated myself to be set up to harbor love and light via the thought process that created the Kundalini which were of love and compassion. Scientifically it is my understanding that love and compassion are the highest frequencies to be experienced on Earth and have the capability of of changing one's DNA structure. Love vibrates at 528Hz frequency. And as many of you know, every molecule, atom, living and non-living thing, etc. all vibrate at different frequencies. We have seen via Dr. Masaru Emoto studies how water crystals change their structure when thoughts of love or higher frequencies are infused or maybe applied is a better word, so we know there is science that backs this concept."

Well here I go...
I'm in the middle of it as I write. For me it's not a single experience but a series that continue to build. Since I'm
not interested in gurus, I've had to research it myself on the web while paying attention to the signs and synchronicity
given to me through this time (and from the past).
Yes, it is sexual energy, plain and simple, but used to wake up and connect the many levels of ourselves (inner angel).
We have within us the trinity+. Kundalini being the holy fire/flaming sword that awakens and unites. This is so personal
that no single post or experience is adequate in explaining its "meaning." Most important, let go of fear. It's all you...

Well, i had one at about age 18 (1967), under very unknowing conditions. I had no clue as to what was happening or supposed to happen. Actually i was trustingly involved with an essentially unfriendly clearing-organization at that time, without knowing much of anything about them either. I lived in a rough part of NYC, the Lower East Side, walk up tenement, living alone, and unexperienced in city life. Dropped out of college after 2 weeks or so, basically trying to keep out of the Draft which was sending my peers to Viet Nam. But i knew way too much because my dad was in the Military Poiice during WWII. He had seen way too much treachery there and wanted to write a journalist's experience of that war. Write about his debilitating experience.... Long story, of which i hadn't yet fully pieced together, at that time... I was being rejected by some older friends who had attracted my venture into the city....
I did have a job where one of the bosses was not any fun to be around at all. Constantly harrassing the secretary verbally and expecting me to laugh with him... But it paid for survival. So, in this sense my life was stressed and very uncertain. Except my parents were actually very loving, in my childhood. It's just that they had been extremely stressed, themselves__ Looking at it now, decades later, (while i have long studied things carefully). I don't feel obliged to belong to any group, but indeed the search for acceptance was key to me. I also wanted to be independent and upstanding...
My experience occurred out on the sidewalk, while walking home. Suddenly i felt the "spirally experience" in my lower belly. I started to feel like i was floating off the sidewalk, in bliss. Joy along with unexplained acceptance, was the main thing. Peers in those days acted as though males should not express love however. We had to act strong and remain silent. So it was peculiar. NYC people never looked you in the eye, which was unloving, but also, somehow, allowing of self esteem.
After getting home, and dazing off to sleep-- I left my body very briefly it seemed. I felt i was reaching up to a door of knowledge, just ready to open it up. Then a loud bang hit my ear. It seemed i had fallen back on my bed, sweating and alarmed. I figured it must have been a gun shot next door. Experience ended there. It was sort of philosophically-spiritual, but at the same time stressed out city living.
I wouldn't particularly recommend it to others. Yet i'm confident there are many sorts of experiences to have. I don't expect it is advisable to "buy into" any experience which might be offered here or there... I spent much of my life getting trapped in promises like that. I'd advise going for natural evolvement, of oneself. As self takes up disciplines of learning. Learning things which provide one a proper sense of evolvement. Which self is more likely to seek and find. Yet, perhaps most people would seek guidance for everything-- Which amends and restricts my advise for dynamic minds only. For people who spontaneously advance in that way.
**My experience of the first paragraph, was not a prize to show off. Rather, i expect experiences like this can be a form control from external, adept beings. Beings adept with a particular aspect of human energy systems. Beings whose identity and purpose, may or may not be known to the experiencer. Is it benign or detrimental or somewhere between? I think each attitude is possible and may be felt as a blessing or as a curse or something personalized, according to the experiencer.
There are varieties of meditation out there. I always morphed my own practices, to suit my situation. Sane persuits of mind, seem best to me and i leave it there. Build one's reality with care.

I am pleasantly surprised by the response here! Thanks! I am starting to wonder if this isn't a common thread among PA members? Have we all experiences a Kundalini rising (some knowing what it was and others not being able to name it) and because of it (in one way or another) been led to joining this 'searching' community?
Hmmm.

I have to admit that I believe you are right, westhill. It is sexual energy. Not that it has to be expressed in a sexual manner. But I believe that this is what Tantric sex is supposed to lead to. Fortunately, one doesn't have to get to it on that path exclusively.

I believe I had 3 kundalini experiences, which were less amazing than several of the experiences reported above this one.
The first one happening when I was in university. I was in the Student Union Building, where I requested a particular record to be played on the headphones they lent out. The record was by the Moody Blues (don't laugh). I was back in the comfy chair, VERY relaxed, and The Moody Blues were singing a sing that included the words, "Aum, aum, heaven". A rush of very pleasant energy traveled up my spine and exploded in my brain. Very unexpected, and no drugs involved.
Several years later, in my twenties, I was meditating regularly, using my breathing as a focal point. On two separate occasions, I experienced the energy rush up my spine and into my brain, similar to the university experience, only stronger. I believe the energy emanated in the chakra associated with sexual energy.
I stopped meditating for about 30 years as I entered the pressure-cooker of a stressful career, but now I am retired, and I have returned to daily meditation. I realize that we should not enter a meditative practice seeking specific experiences or feelings, so I just accept it as something I do.
Nothing that could be described as kundalini awaking has occurred so far but that mind of mine is definitely feeling more peaceful, more calm.

I have heard from different camps of it being sexual energy and it not being sexual energy. I think it can be both depending on which end of the circle one feeds.
This image helps a little :

The description of that image was "The entwined snakes represent the Kundalini Shakti, the 'serpent' power on journey out of darkness to union with Shiva, the Self, symbolized by the petals of the lotus." I think it has a lot to do with releasing and accepting. I had my initial full on experience in 1995 and to this day I can go back into kundalini experience whenever I desire and I can cause it in others. I am curious if others have had that experience because to me it was the most perfect knowing of Divine unity and oneness and it showed me the great love God/dess has for all of us, and that ultimately we are all connected from that love. We just have to choose to embrace it for when one is in that state of knowing of another there can be no division but pure desire for the best of one another.

You know nearing, I went into that energy a lot in the beginning. I discovered my ability to share it with others sort of by accident. I innocently wanted them to experience Divine union and knowing and they would end up swearing their undying love for me and follow me around like a long lost puppy dog swearing I was their "Soul mate"! I became much more careful in sharing that experience and no it did not entail any physical contact. I didn't even have to be in the same hemisphere as they were. What it did teach me though is a deep knowing of what lies beyond this world, and that we are always one even when we least feel like it.
I do enjoy going there, but I only share it now with my dearest, Khaleesi. I like to know it as soul touching, and believe that depending on one's spiritual development it should be experienced by all eventually, but some would just make it into another vice. I also gained other abilities out of that experience and one of them was an even more keen ability to soul heal and soul read. It's very hard to bs me, and unfortunately I was aware of their dirty laundry and issues though I hardly interacted with them. I don't do deep reads normally on others, but once one can see anothers soul it's hard to shut off that knowing.

Orgone and Kundalini.
We have been taught to deny the body/matter as the vehicle/expression of the spirit. Sensation and feeling is the language of our body.
I can't live/love anywhere else but in here. For too long I didn't listen. I'm all ears now.

The major kundalini experience I had lasted from about mid 1994 until about Feb of 1996. Before this time I had experienced something similar to kundalini in that I saw into other dimensions, merged with other people above our bodies, spent about 5 days merging with the earth and communicating with other dimensional spirits, etc. Those shorter experiences were intermittent, like maybe once a month starting in 1987. That was when I quit the meditation path I had been practicing for 7 years wherein I had been leaving my body several times a week and traveling in other dimensions.
I had probably built up so much energy over the 7 years of leaving my body and because I deliberately and intentionally stopped leaving my body, the energy had to go somewhere and do something else. I'm not sure exactly when the actual kundalini experience started but I think it was when I was on the phone once with a friend of mine. We had had a couple of telepathic experiences and while I was on the phone with him all of a sudden a part of me went out into other dimensions and merged with the Source. I had done this many times while traveling out of body but never while talking with someone on the phone! LOL... It was also fascinating to me that I was able to continue talking...so I was describing what was going on with the process of the Source creating the Creation to my friend. I was both watching and participating in the Creation and I was laying in bed talking on the phone. It was strange and awesome.
After that experience I started feeling like I was burning inside and every breath felt like breathing fire. That's when I realized this was a kundalini experience. I had never had the constant burning before in all of my previous experiences. It didn't stop. I was single at this time, living with my 10 and 14 year old children after divorcing my 3rd husband a few months before this kundalini experience started. Of course it was extremely sensual and being single I had several different lovers and a lot of men were magnetically attracted to me.
Some of the things that happened while I was in this state for over a year were: I saw UFO's several times while just looking out over the valley. We lived up on a hill in Ashland Oregon with a view overlooking the entire Rogue Valley. Occasionally when I was sitting out on the deck overlooking the valley I would focus in on something many miles away. All of a sudden I would zoom in on it and see it as though it were right in front of me. This happened many times. I called it far sight. There were several different beings showing up on occasion in our house. Most notably a 7-8 ft tall hairy other dimensional alien, a short stick figure man who used to run through the house, and a very large golden dragon that sat in my living room for maybe a couple of months.
During this year I took several trips to the the Yucatan, Hawaii, several different Anasazi sites in New Mexico and was burning and vibrating at this high frequency the entire time. In each high energy location I visited I would have experiences of falling into another time/dimension. I say "fall" because it feels something like the weightlessness you feel when falling. It also would make me slightly dizzy. Whenever this happened I would just relax into it and breathe. I usually saw people in the other dimensions....chanting monks, Anasazi people chanting and dancing in a ceremony, once I ended up in the middle of a Mayan ball game when I was walking on the game field at Chichen Itza in the Yucatan. My sister had to hold onto me at that time since I was so disoriented. It was fun but still very disconcerting to be in two dimensions at once. When I leave my body I'm fully aware of the dimension I'm in, whereas with these kundalini inspired experiences I would be in 2 dimensions/times at the same time, one of them being this rather slow vibratory rate earth dimension. It took some getting used to.
I wondered when or if this would ever stop. Everything I did seemed to increase the fire and the sensuality. Until I met my present husband these experiences continued daily. I probably wouldn't have met him if I hadn't been in this state. We met online in an AOL chatroom and felt the huge energy we had for each other. I didn't even want to speak with him on the phone because I didn't want to get any closer to him. I had this notion that because he was 40 and I was 48, he was too young for me. LOL... I liked OLDER men!
After about a month I let him call me and the second we heard each others voices we were lost. He flew to meet me a week later and we got married 3 weeks after meeting. Our meeting was like an explosion of forces coming together. I knew he was the true love I had always known was out there somewhere, waiting for me. It was the same for him. His energy was so powerful that all entities that were hanging around left very quickly. We had such a passionate love that it finally brought down the intensity of the kundalini fire.
Now it's 17 years later and we're still so much in love.

Hi Nearing
about twenty years ago I was meditating, sitting/kneeling on a meditation stool while listening to Bhajans (Indian holy songs) All of a sudden my body started to gyrate, my fore head almost brushing the floor--- I knew I was not doing it-- then It rotated the other way.
Next my forehead felt as though it was being pulled at the third eye-- extreme itching on the scalp and a sliver of energy starting to move up the spine. I consulted a friend who put me in touch with another man--- he sent me a news letter published by the Kundalini foundation--- I had most of the symptoms.
I went out to the Third Eye ashram in India which had a God realised guru. (Dr Goel) I experienced states of bliss there and since as well.
He gave me shaktipat to control the movement of Kundalini--- the liberating force.
Shidis happened --- One time I was sitting beside a woman at my aunts funeral-- suddenly I was aware of energy flowing out my side.
I did not say anything but the lady who was a retired Nurse told me she had felt the energy.
To cut a long story short she was due to have a dangerous opp on her spine and at the pre opp check they could not find anything wrong with her.
Others were healed.
The advice is not to identify with these gifts or spiritual progress is stalled.
It is not a good idea to force start it.
Kundalini continues its journey within me.
It renews the nervous system so that it can accept a higher spiritual vibration
I have pasted in the foreword to an excellent book to be found on the link.
Amazon probably has it too.
Regards Chris

Preface
Salutations to the Mother Kundalini the Divine Cosmic Energy! You are present in every existing being. You are the supreme knowledge, maya, intellect, memory and delusion. O Devi! You are the mind, the sky, the air, the fire, the water and the earth. Nothing is outside You. You are the Shakti of Shiva. Your Own blissful conscious form gives the shape of the world.
Kundalini Yoga is the most archaic form of spiritual sadhana practiced by Indian sages and saints to achieve Oneness with the Supreme Reality. Kundalini, the serpent power or mystic fire, is the primordial energy that lies sleeping or in dormant state at the base of the spinal column in all human beings. It is also the cosmic power in individual bodies. It is the spiritual potential of cosmic power. It has no form. But the mind has to follow a particular form in its initial stage. From this grosss form, one can easily understand the subtle formless Kundalini. Prana, ahamkar, buddhi, indriya, mind, nerves and all the five gross elements are all products of Kundalini.
Kundalini becomes active, when it is awakened. There are many methods to awaken the sleeping Kundalini, like Pranayama, Asanas, Meditation, etc. all such methods may sometimes lead to complications. One may also become a psychic patient. It can also prove fatal as one feels the urge to attempt suicide without any reason.
To awaken Kundalini Shakti, the safest way is to receive the grace of a blessed Siddha-Guru, who have already merged his identity with the Supreme consciousness, the Shiva, and have become one. When Kundalini Shakti gets active by a Siddha-Guru it automatically starts functioning. Kundalini becomes the master of jiva, whose goal is Shiva, the source of existence.
In this world, despite all that we achieve, we never feel contented and never attain permanent peace, happiness or bliss. Complete fulfillment is only possible when we realize our own self, when the Kundalini Shakti gets aroused in our bodies and the backward journey towards Shiva gets initiated, till one day, with the mercy of Kundalini, the jiva gets liberated from all the attachments with the world.
As this Kundalini Shakti is very powerful, no one else other than Shiva can control this Kundalini Shakti, when it is awakened. Under the guidance of a Guru, the movement of the Kundalini is controlled, the six spiritual centres get slowly pierced, the nervous system gets cleansed and the individual becomes transformed completely. He realizes his own Self at the sahasrara, the seventh spiritual centre and becomes One with the Supreme Consciousness, the Shiva. The main principle is that when awakened, Kundalini Shakti ceases to be a static power, which sustains world consciousness. Once set in movement, she is drawn to its other static centre in the thousand petalled lotus (sahasrara), by merging Herself and the jiva with Shiva consciousness or the consciousness of eternal ecstasy beyond the world of form. When Kundalini sleeps a man is awake to the world, when she wakes up, he sleeps, that is, he loses his consciousness of the world and enters his causal body. In this Yoga he passes beyond to the formless consciousness.
This is the glory of Mother Kundalini who through Her infinite grace and power gently leads the sadhaka from charka to charka and illumines his intellect and makes him realize his identity with the supreme Brahman!
Sadgurunath Shri Siddeshwar Baba was a God-realised Siddha-Guru. Thousands of seekers got their Kundalini Shakti awakened by His Divine Grace. He used to awaken the Kundalini Shakti by the divine touch of His right thumb at the Trikuti of His devotee and sometimes by His gaze. He had even initiated some sadhakas in their dreams.
The book on Kundalini enables aspirants and spiritual seekers as well as those interested in the phenomenon of Kundalini to understand the deeper implications of Kundalini awakening.
The first part of this book contains discourses of Shri Guruji delivered between 14 October 1992 and 15 March 1997 during the Meditation Camps held at Siddheshwar Ashram.
The second part contains queries from devotees about Kundalini Shakti and the answers/clarifications given by Shri Gurudev.
The book ends with salutations offered to the Guru who is established in knowledge and power, who grants both worldly prosperity and liberation, who has made it possible to realize Him and by Whom all this world animate and inanimate, movable and immovable, is pervaded.
I pray to Shri Gurudev and Goddess Mother Kundalini to shower Their blessings on all their loving children, so that Their inner paths open and their search for the final goal, the Supreme Truth, comes to an end, and they achieve birthless and deathless eternity.
Back of the Book
Despite being successful in life and having all the material comforts, individuals constantly crave for the feeling of complete fulfillment. This is only possible when we realize our own self and merge with the source of our existence. This journey towards Shiva (the source) only gets initiated with the arousal of the Kundalini, the primordial energy that lies in a dormant state at the base of the spinal column.
This book is divided into three parts. The first part contains discourses on Kundalini by Shri Siddeshwar Baba delivered between 1992 and 1997 during the meditation camps held at Siddheshwar Ashram. The second part contains clarifications given by Gurudev to the queries raised by his devotees and the third part offers salutations to the 'Guru' who makes the awakening of the Kundalini and the attainment of liberation possible.
This book will be of immense help to spiritual seekers and psychic sufferers. It will interest the lay readers who will gain solace and peace of mind with the knowledge of Kundalini, the liberating force.
Born on 25 March 1935, a post-graduate in political science and history and a doctorate in education, Dr B.S. Goel (Siddheshwar Baba) was chosen by destiny to be a yogi with the mission of unraveling to the people the deepest secrets of the Mind, individual consciousness and Cosmic Consciousness. At the age of 28 his Kundalini got awakened on its own. His uniqueness lies in his experience of classical psychoanalysis along with meditation, which he advocated and applied in the quest of the final goal: transcendence of the Mind and union with the Lord. On 3 October 1998 Siddheshwar Baba took Samadhi leaving behind his dedicated devotees to work for the Society of 'Third Eye Foundation of India' founded by him in 1982 to preach and propagate Indian culture, Yoga and spiritualism.

Orgone and Kundalini.
We have been taught to deny the body/matter as the vehicle/expression of the spirit. Sensation and feeling is the language of our body.
I can't live/love anywhere else but in here. For too long I didn't listen. I'm all ears now.
PQBtHwusxJM
What a genius, what a sad story. They killed him and his research. Ignorant people.
I wonder if the energy he was detecting and calling Orgone is the same energy that run along the meridians of the body and/or Tesla energy.

Nancy, I think you and I had very similar experiences. I called it, "being other", and could hold a conversation and travel in other dimensions, bi-locate, use the energy to heal or do spiritual warfare etc.. My first experience came when I had to forgive someone who had really tried to harm my reputation and slandered me. I am all about honor and integrity and I heard God/dess very distinctly tell me to not say anything in retaliation, but to forgive them. I did not want to , and my two closest spiritual friends who helped me teach an online bible class 3 times a week back in 1995 were very connected to me and as we prayed, this energy rose up from within me and it lasted for hours. It was both ecstasy and agony.
Yes, I felt this incredible fire, but the sensuality of it was beyond anything earthly and I was reminded of Ephesians where we are told:
(Though I don't like Paul, he does impart wisdom, you just have to read his words very carefully)
Eph 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
Eph 5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
Most people read right over that passage and do not see that A. Paul is talking about sexual union between a man and his wife, and then he turns it to the Great Mystery of Messiah and his bride. So, there is a correlation, and I think a true kundalini awakeing (Yes there are false ones) is the experience of Divine Union and it eclipses anything I have ever experienced on earth.
You cannot but love creation when you are in that energy. It requires complete vulnerability which means trust and openness to the Divine. Nothing hidden and no secrets. It's child like innocence and it is why I believe few experience that true Divine Union. God/dess will not share unity with anything but innocent pure love. That's why I also think most people experience it when they are in a "dark night of the soul" that strips them of all their guile, anger, fear, and such. When one truly lays their soul bare without shame and seeks God/dess with all their heart and soul, they experience it. Some have sought such for years, and in a moment of openness the gates fly open and we are one.
Thank you for sharing your experience Nancy. The more I read from you, the more I appreciate you.

Thanks, Serenity, the feelings are mutual. I agree that your experiences sound very similar to mine and I'm so happy you've shared them. Kundalini experiences are truly blissful, sensual and loving, both agony and ecstasy. I actually occasionally would drink alcohol just to put a bit of a damper on the intense fire! I'm glad you mentioned spiritual warfare. I forgot about that but I also have the ability to engage with negative entities very successfully. It sure helps to have an incredibly strong WILL as you do...and I do. I doubt that we would back down under any circumstances or be intimidated. In fact intimidation has the exact opposite effect on me that a being intends. It causes my force of will to hugely expand and whatever energy another being is putting out will bounce back to them greatly increased. If it's positive energy they're very happy, if it's a negative attack they disappear pretty darn quickly! I love cussing telepathically. LOL...
Of course I prefer being in the love energy but I never shrink from conflict. I actually look on it as all a part of the love.
I agree that the bible does have some great wisdom within it's pages. Of course most take it literally or allow an intermediary to interpret it for them. I spent many years reading mostly Indian holy books, Hindu, Buddhist, Zen and Sikh, etc. I also developed a love of East Indian music. The path of meditation I was following was essentially Sikh, but since I'm not really the follower type I quickly threw away all the rules as soon as I began leaving my body. There are really strong guidelines of what to do, what to chant and how to act on each different plane or dimension. I had planned to follow these rules when I began leaving my body but the minute I left my body for the first time I met what we could call the christ being or the buddah or whatever you want to call him, and it was in the form of a sort of genderless male, glowing and emanating unconditional love. He looked into me and started laughing with the most loving profound sense of humor and unconditional love.
My first thought was "wow, I better start chanting the chant I'm supposed to do. This might be some evil entity masquerading as god". So I got a couple of words out and the humor of the being invaded me and I began to laugh! We both continued laughing in bliss for a while. The laughter contained unconditional love, humor, compassion, understanding and acceptance. I knew that the rules I had learned were completely unnecessary and silly ... at least for me. We parted...still laughing...both knowing I would not be following the rules that I had learned. Laughing telepathically is so wonderfully bubbly and it raises your vibrational frequency ever higher.
I still stayed with the Sikh path for another 6 1/2 years, just because I liked the group of people we had become friends with, but I was the black sheep. I only used the meditation to leave my body and in subsequent years it only took about a half hour to raise my vibration and jump out of my body. I only stopped leaving my body because one night when I was just on the verge of jumping out, in that state where the energy is rushing from your base chakra up to your pineal or crown chakra.....a huge booming voice said to me "these are not the gurus and this is not your way". It also showed me my guru, all the previous gurus of that line and many other gurus...and said again..."this is not the guru", which I took to mean that I was to stop what I was doing and move on.
I quit the meditation and leaving my body the very next day and told my husband we needed to sell our property and move away. I also wanted him to stop his meditation practice and quit considering himself a part of this group. Of course he and everyone else thought I had gone crazy overnight. LOL... But we did sell our property and move away within a couple of months. I can be very determined! A year or so later he thanked me for doing this and said it was for the best. My exciting experiences within my body, including my time in the kundalini state, started shortly after I stopped leaving my body.

What an incredible post Nancy, thanks for sharing. Yes, I too developed my own way, though I did have some wonderful people who journeyed along my path with me. One was an HPS Strega who shared quite a bit of hidden knowledge with me. I think those who have had that Divine knowing recognize one another pretty quickly, and there is this spark of energy shared. It's not like going into intense oneness when one does share with another that experience which is basically Divine lovemaking / oneness. It's nice, but not necessary once one has experienced it enough, it's more like a handshake and knowing and that's enough. The danger is imho that newbies who are not grounded in spiritual knowledge can get caught up in the moment of first awakening in Kundalini (I don't really even like that word, but we'll go with it) and not being aware that they are like an extremely bright light in a dark astral realm.
Immediately, entities are drawn to it, and not all of them have your best interest at heart. If you don't know how to test them, you can be sucked into great deception and used as the next best greatest guru / healer. Their energy is intoxicating as a healer, they words soothing, and they sincerely believe what they are sharing, but they are misguided imho.
This is a time of great care as so many are waking up. The negative force that fulfills the negative side of prophecy is very much aware and is seeking all such newly born and awake babes. I do think it's important to commune in spirit as we do gain a respite from the stress of this dimension when we do so, but it's easy to just want to stay there. Warriors especially need a place to set aside their armor occasionally and rest in that Divine unity.

I have heard of Kundalini but never went deep into experiences like this thread. I now realize that I have had 3 instances in the past and would tell my Wife, who witnessed all 3, that they were "Cosmic Downloads". Each experience always involved me talking about oneness and that we are all connected. The first time, I started to get emotional as I spoke of growing up with the trees and then I began vibrating from the flow of energy, which was the most intense feeling I have ever experienced. I was floored, and my Wife was right beside me thinking I was having a seizure or something! The second time was as intense but I was less afraid as I had time to think about the first event, except this time the flow of energy felt like it was above me and there was this intense blue light that I could feel and sense but my Wife could not. The energy had pinned me to the bed and I was physically being pushed into the bed, sometimes I think that it was me who was pushing me into the bed and the energy was trying to pull me up! The third was when I was with my Uncle, a Medicine Man, as well as my Wife again and we were talking about oneness in preparation for our wedding and it happened again but I was able to control it better. Except one does not control this energy easily, it was more like I just changed the subject because it was too intense for that situation.
I feel like I can enter that state at will when focused on oneness and happiness, although I do not do this. My people would say that back in the day, we had members of the tribe that were called "gatherers" and they could enter this state and use it to manifest their needs, usually game or fish.

Hi nearing,
To explore the power of Kundalini you have to prepared your understaning of this energy, world, life, people and so on. It may sounds strange but before to have access to such a powerful information it should be sure that you will use it only for good.
If you are not very well informed and prepared with information, understandings about many things - I think it's impossible to undestand it.
Feelings in our bodies is something interesting but they are just like emotions.
I can recommend you to start with some exercises and search for Asian specialists in this area - because Kundalini is well-known there. I know about the Inner Smile, 6 heelings sounts, Opening chakras with breath and visualisation and so on...
And when you achieve some good results, don't think that you can everything :)
To control your energy - first you have to understand it and then feel it. After that you can achieve good results.
Best Regards,
Lyubomir

I personally don't think one needs to turn to one spiritual path over another. I was raised Roman Catholic, then studied with a spirit filled Lutheran Church so filled with brotherly love anyone would want to join it, then studied with fabulous messianic Rabbi's, and devoured AW Tozer's works, Watchman Nee, EW Bullinger, and enjoy to this day studying with Pastor Murray of Shepherds chapel though I really have little use for buildings, it's the people that matter. I've read every work I could get my hands on regarding spiritual pathwork, light work, old ways, Tao, grimoires, and other sacred texts too numerous to count. I think it only matters that one is seeking truth and at the center a personal relationship with our Divine creatrix.
My whole life has been devoted to spiritual growth and knowing truth. At the center of it was an undying love for God and in that with my faults and failures, I have learned none is better or worse than any other. There is not one person I have ever met who deserves more love than any other, and that ever action we take we choose whether it is one done in love or absent of love. Nothing else matters.

Hi Nearing
about twenty years ago I was meditating, sitting/kneeling on a meditation stool while listening to Bhajans (Indian holy songs) All of a sudden my body started to gyrate, my fore head almost brushing the floor--- I knew I was not doing it-- then It rotated the other way.

Thanks for that, Chris. I am enthralled at that notion that one can confer healing on to another just by virtue of having had this experience!
Have any other headings taken place?
Has anyone else had this happen?

Hi Nearing, I have used this energy many times in healing and breaking spiritual bonds, chords, and darts many have within their soul / spirit body. I have helped some on here as well. When I say "I have done this" it isn't really me doing it. I just open up my being to be able to share the energy with the person in need. I see their spirit and soul body and know things that there is no way I should know them about the person. When I do these kinds of works I ask permission to read them. I fully inform them that once they give that permission I will know everything that is pertinent for me to know to help them. If they consent then we begin.
I have witnessed huge physical lumps disappear while working in person with someone. I have seen miraculous changes in people's spirit and mind during sessions. I am always blessed to be part of it, and to me it's like getting to be a witness to something sacred happening between the individual and the Creator. All I do is help facilitate. I know instantly when speaking with someone when I quit communicating and the Holy Spirit / Divine wisdom begins speaking through me. This only happens on certain more personal posts and in more personal conversations I have with people in real life or say on skype. There is no time or space, there is only being when in that energy. We are all capable of it and called to be in it to walk in unity with one another, but well, we haven't gotten there yet.

Ramesh said of healing in general.
If it is the karma of the person, cosmic law, the will of God then healing happens.
I had one person who had a calcified spine and well bent over-- I put my hands on him and within a few minutes he stood up straight--- I was as surprised as he was. It also has worked on animals-- a horse was rejuvenated by the energy.
Lumps -- tumours have gone.
Obviously its not me that does it.
I dont feel drawn to do this now.
Dr Goel said "When Kundalini awakens its by the grace of God and you are in the taxi being driven home by Shakti. Enlightenment will happen in this life time"
So my take is that I dont use the energy, it uses me.
Its not always an easy trip as it burns of Karma and gets you into situation where the ego is reduced, though Its very easy to have the spiritual ego thinking "Im special" and that is a big deterrent to spiritual progress.
Desires go and with that all motivation--- so there can be periods of mild depression.
The ego is always wanting to do-- to achieve- to get-- that goes.
BUT it leaves a big vacuum to begin with.
It also leads to solitude--- friends dont understand that you have no wants or needs.
People come or go and there is no sense of loss.
The moment is now enjoyed but it does not have to be repeated there is no desire to do the same thing again.
If it does resurface its enjoyed afresh.
Its a strange place to be but thats ok.
Hope that helps.

Hi nearing, thank you for this thread. The topic has been covered fairly well here already but I will add two things.
I formally studied kundalini yoga for many years under the guidance of an exceptional Sikh gentleman. I had been seeing him for 6 months when he strode into the room one day and announced "right, now you are ready to begin to work with kundalini". When I asked what I had been doing for the past 6 months he replied "preparing to work with kundalini". The power of kundalini is potentially infinite, and an uncontrolled rush has been known to fry neural pathways (eg kundalini damage is sometimes misdiagnosed as MS), or to compromise psychological integrity ("insanity") to name just two. So please, all who work with kundalini, be careful, and find a technique of excercising control over the energy that works for you.
This is a recent kundalini experience:
Whilst sitting outside meditating, my partner was invited to “step into the pool of stillness”. I decided to do the same. I envisaged a deep, dark pool and immersed myself within it. There were some intestinal rumblings as I relaxed into complete stillness. It felt good, and I gave permission for whatever would arise to rise.
Immediately, a deep, cold and initially frightening darkness arose. I did as I always do when confronted by fear, which is to acknowledge it as part of myself, merge myself with it, and shower it with Love. The fear waned, but the imposing darkness remained. I expanded my awareness to my infinite nature, and the expanse of dark became but a speck within me. I recognised that the darkness was the part of me that resides in another dimension, and while I have accessed those parts of me that exist in dimensions of light, geometric shape and vitality, I had never consciously visited this cold, dark, ponderous dimension. Probably because of the fear, though I was not consciously aware of it.
Upon realisation that I had accessed a previously unknown aspect of my hyper-dimensional self, my chakras quickly “lit up” in rapid succession from root to crown, followed by a kundalini rush of awesome power. In my study of kundalini yoga, I had been warned of the dangers of the uncontrolled kundalini rush, so used the tool I had been given to harness the energy without physical or psychological damage. The tool is to guide the energy as it exits the crown (novices should work to contain the energy within) so that it arcs down and joins with the energy entering the root. As I did this, the immediately perceived the image of a sitting figure, chakras alight, with fountains of energy from the crown and root joined and pulsing.
http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?46235-Dark-Dimensions-and-Free-Energy
Kundalini is not sexual energy per se, but it consists of a masculine and feminine stream that can be united as an analogue of cosmic union within us (unity consciouisness). This is especially potent when the kundalini streams, and masculine energy taken in through the crown, and feminine energy taken in through the root, are united within the heart. The heart is the meeting place within us between that which is below, and that which is above. This is alchemy, the real transmutation of base stuff to gold, and the process to which chemical alchemy is but an analogue. When we perform this alchemy within ourselves, it is then we expereince pure, unbounded joy, and let us always remember that true joy can only ever be found by working with the light AND the dark.
