Thanks Alie.....Good speach by Senator Sanders,,,

The bottom 60% of Americans own 2% of the countries wealth this is probably the same or worse around the world...

These facts are not new and the 'Corporate Medias' do not report this because the rich who own everything do not

want to wake up the sheep !!

If you like him, better lable yourself a "socialist." He's a people person and openlys says he's an Independent socialist of the People.

I love Bernie Saunders, he's speaks to the heart, speaks the truth to power, and the people in his state wouldn't part from him, if you paid them.

WE need more like Saunders and if Nader would have run for either house, I've NO doubt that he'd still be there fighting for the people and the 3 recessions wouldn't have happened because Ralph does a great job at telling the truth to power also.

I do enjoy the irony. Bernie's one of maybe a handful of people in Washington both who know what's going wrong (and has the balls to stand up to it) and he's the only actual avowed Socialist in congress.

Hello Cider, yes was'nt that a good speech ?
Notice you are in the UK, well some-time ago a professor from a scotish uni: presented a case for a one-off-tax of 20% on the top 10% of this sceptered isle.
I think if you google 'Glasgow media center' you will find his proposal.
Worth a look.

he states the obvious, and there is silence in the room. I'm sure they let him speak knowing it won't change their agenda to destroy america and institute their New World Order . maybe he should have went to wall street and shouted Allah akbod then click BOOM. cut the head off the snake. this guy sounds like he actually listens to his people that he represents.

Are we still discussing politics here? Fine, but just don't lose track of the ancient term "public servant", as opposed to modern day "The Authorities".

Bernie calls them all crooks and then goes to lunch with them. Ah, the theater of it all.

Thank you for that Rad. You know, I just erased my post saying roughly the same thing.

Is there really any other choice? Some people actually believe it's possible to succeed trying to change the system from inside. That's naive but that doesn't make him a monster either. He may be part of the show but there's still a fair chance he's in fact doing it out of sincere heart.

Then again I'll admit I don't know his entire voting record so I'm more than willing to consider he could be if there's a proven record of hypocrisy.

 Where is the word monster in my post? Do you have to invent things to have a dialogue with me? Wake up!

I actually like the things he says. I think that is his role and the idea. He may actually really feel that way too and is therefore a useful idiot to the two crime families in DC. "You go Bernie boy, and make the chumps think they actually have a voice here". I like what Kucinich says often too.

I have seen what happens to people who are truly uncorruptable in that cesspool of a town. They end up in prison, mental wards or dead. The fact the Bernie is breathing and walking free convinces me he is playing a useful role. He is allowed to say his piee as long as he has no real intentions of doing anything about it.

These are just my observations and opinions. I hope there is now enough of my own verbiage that you will not feel compelled to create words for me. as you did in this last post of yours.

How to Save the Economy: A One-off 20% Tax on the Richest 10%

http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/peter-g-tatchell/how-to-save-the-economy-_b_1108497.html

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I find our whole concept of wealth bizzare, sure we work and need an exchange system to run local society as a barter system is to limited.

Cash/ Debit card is fine for food, housing ,travel, luxuries etc, and a commercial banking system for trade internal and import/export...

But the accumalation of excessive wealth has baffled me five, ten, 20 million pounds is more than any individual should need at anyone time

and 99% of the world population live on a fraction of that. Its just plain greed. i know the theory is the trickle down effect and if you do

not give incentives and rewards and employ the brains for the top jobs the world will fall apart. "THATS BS"....

Inventors will still invent people will always fill in gaps in the workforce whether vocational or otherwise. One phrase from over the pond

that is very annoying is the American way or onbehalf of the American people on whatever subject a polititon is spouting on about !!

Its like saying the British, German, Chinese or who evers way....What does it mean ? Nothing.Yes its supposed to say you can arrive

in the US with nothing and rise to become President or head of a corporate, but very few do that in relation to the population and

as we saw on another thread all the Presidents bar one are related to Royalty !! Although its worse here in that respect LOL..

They are still here shacked up in Buck's palace !!

When a painting or other work of art sell for silly money, while people go hungry and are homeless beats me...

http://www.theartwolf.com/articles/images/cezanne-card-players-private-collection.jpg

$250 million dollers for a painting how ever beautifull is obscene to me....

If you are wondering how I got onto this rant its to do with the article in the

Huffington post,,LOL..

Monster..

When you purposefully leave "room for the imagination" as to what you're implying then don't be surprised when people try to fill that space with something. ;p

Implying that he's "part of the show" is an implication of guilt, being "part of the show" means one may be guilty of it for a host of motives that would make his actions ranging from naive to monstrous. When you don't finish that by saying what it is he's guilty of it leaves one to speculate as to what that may be and unfortunately leaves room for misunderstanding.

People I encounter often don't simply make simple statements and "leave them at that" they often use them as them way to convey something else. If you actually were intending it to merely be a simple commentary on the Washington Kabuki then I apologize. Most people don't just "mean what they say" so I first attempt to read into just about everyone.

Kucinich is a good example though, I believe he's being forced out of Washington due to redistricting this coming term isn't he?
