I Thought this was interesting and I thought I should share anyone know what would cause this smoke pattern? Radar glitch?

Very odd, but naysayers would say it is just a data glitch and not real. We need to keep a watch on radar for scalar activity.

the only thing that springs to mind is.....
perhaps its a density issue,
the machine has to be able to tell the difference between ordinary clouds
and plumes of smoke.
smoke, i would imagine, is more dense than cloud formations
so perhaps it will only register formations above a certain level of density
and it may be that there was a particularly dense formation of actual cloud that the machine registered as a smoke plume.
other than that, i have no idea.

Referee, check out Tolec's website under the header FAQ'S. He has been talking about a cosmic event happening and it involves a volcano "popping" off the southern coast of Oregon followed by an earthquake. This event may happen in the next 2-3 weeks. The smoke you are seeing is apparently from an under water volcano releasing gasses. His site is andromedacouncil.com

The cosmic event that Tolec is talking about will make the under water volcano pop its top and its just a matter of time. The video shown is interesting with lots of smoke already drifting over. Once the event happens the last undersea Reptilian base will be destroyed.

It could be from forest fires across the Pacific, it was pretty smoggy here for the last couple of days.

As the link above says there is a "cold" front that cleared up our air :) If the smoke is traveling along the weather fronts then that might be the mystery smoke your seaing in the op

I've noticed the haze come up I think sometime after 4th July. Viewing the mountains in the distance, they just graze where the smoke is passing by. Looks like it's still coming from the same spot in the Pacific and spreading across the Pacific Northwest in US and Canada.:pop2:

Bump! Still waiting for Tolec's 'volcano popping off' but I have noticed that the sky this summer over southern Oregon is not as clear blue as last year. It's a muddier blue and looks like it's filled with particles scattering the light all the time, even on a no-cloud day. Much different color compared to last summer when the blue color was stunning.
Thanks to the OP, I never knew about that ability on weather underground to look at smoke and forest fires, I'll keep an eye on it from now on.
