Today Youtube screens were blank on one computer only. A system restore fixed the problem.

It's most likely that Adobe flash player needs to be updated. Just google "adobe flash download".

Depends on what operating system you are using or even the browser now.
Sounds like a Flash issue though...

Yeah, got blanks screens here too. Did update the adobe flash player and did system restore.

Neither worked.

Update: opened windows media player>tools>options>file types, -- unchecked every box --, apply>close

Sometimes it's an issue on my iPad, but that usually has to do with the way the video was posted. There's a workaround for iPads if that is what you are encountering.

Another thing to try is:

Right click on the youtube video (where the screen normally shows)
Choose 'Settings...'
Remove the tick from the 'Enable Hardware Acceleration' box
Choose 'Close'

Hi Mia Gabrial, I had a similar problem, and here is how I had to settle this thing.

I use Firefox as browser, and in the extensions, I had RealPlayer as video player, so I had to disactivate this extensions, furthermore, uninstall RealPlayer on my computer.

After, I had to uninstall Flash Player, reboot my computer, then, went at Adobe Web site, and loaded Flash Player prior version 10.2, downloaded, installed, and the problem was settled.

All the best to you.

Thank you, everyone. It took awhile and some hair pulling, but I finally fixed it. Flash player AND JavaScript needed to be upgraded.
