I agree with you, Peace. There is a kind of desperation exhibited here by some members to believe anyone who they think will reveal the "answers" to the world's secrets. Members who post their point of view, many times based on a good amount of research, are personally insulted and asked what they are doing on avalon, the "truth forum". I can't remember it being as bad as it is now. There is a pervasive mean-spirited air floating around here.

You are right, there are some outstanding minds here- it's when it gets personal and nasty that this forum takes a nose dive. We should all be taking a breath, before posting something that we know is obnoxious or insulting. We have many guests that read our posts and I wonder how many haven't become members because of the downright nastiness in some responses.

Too much farces; too much charlatanism; too much much scams; too much frauds.

The alternative media is a mess right now. It looks more like a big trap nowadays.

The good investigative nature of the alternative media is struggling to survive within this super-dense smoke of unfounded and idiotic stories.

Sadly, too many people are falling on this trap and actually loving it; it makes them feel good.

However, isn´t it the nature of all traps? All of them have a mechanism to attract it´s victims.

To attract birds, you use little berries. For fish, you use earthworms. For human beings, the ultimate bait is hope.

Don´t leave, mate. People like you are highly needed in places like this.

Actually, I think the forum is in pretty good shape. The two 'live' threads I personally feel are most important right now are Houman's (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?40941-Horus-Ra-as-the-Archontic-Alien-Parasite-A-follow-up-interview-with-Maarit&p=519686&highlight=horus-ra) and my own (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?46887-From-Bill-Ryan-the-Ultimate-Hypothesis).

I say this because each one (Houman's, in particular, which is one of the most valuable and significant threads on the net) has grown to become an inspiring example of focused, intensive, detailed, information-rich contribution from quite a number of very awake, aware and intelligent members.

You're all a credit to the forum, and to the forum's purposes. This is what it's meant to be about.

Note that there are many other threads, too! (42,867, to be exact. :) ) We don't have to keep banging our heads on the comparative few that have been updated overnight. Anyone can dig up any dormant subject at all... and add still more value. And a new thread can be added at any time, by anyone. You don't have to leave to do that!!

Fear would be the cause why people would cover their eyes in the face of possible calamity. Indeed, the mass media hypnotization is grand and effective on most people out there, it takes a lot of energy, determination and will to awake oneself.
