Feeling heat on my legs as I try to sleep....

This has been happening to me for the last few months. I'll feel something hot on my legs and as a reflex I'll kind of brush off my legs then the heat will just go away. It doesn't last very long, probably around 3-5 seconds.

I'm in Sri Lanka at the moment and since I arrived here something else that is quite strange has been happening as well; When I lay down to sleep at night and close my eyes I'll see flashes of light. But then when I re-open my eyes, there is nothing there.

I've also experienced flashes of light while trying to fall asleep, combined with very heavy thinking, as I couldn't really stop concentrating and literaly start to materialize my thoughts in very (and I mean very) vivid images. So vivid that after opening my eys, for a moment, I still see the shapes in the dark before they fade... This has happened at least twice this year, and it was my conclusion that both times I was really exausted physically, but not that sleepy.

Maybe someone else can contribute with more concise thoughts...

Those 'Flashes of Light' your seeing Proper-Logic are actually 'Psychic Flashes'...:yes4:

Next time you experience a 'Flash of Light' - Don't be afraid - Just relax & let the 'Flash of Light' evolve into the 'Psychic Picture' the universe was giving you..:)

I generally get them as I close my eyes every night before I go to sleep...:sleep:

...and Remember to pay attn :attention: to your Dreams, because an even bigger message is generally on its way..:)

Thanks for the reply Jack, I didn't realize that you had, thus the late response. I find it comforting that you are also experiencing this. But at the same time I also find it quite disturbing as my dreams of late have not been the best. I think my unconscious mind is trying to tell me something, because I was having a pretty vivid dream about a month ago and I remember seeing an old friend of mine. I felt the urge to ask him if I could use his cellphone. As I approached him I suddenly asked him "Hold on, is this real?" He looked me dead in the eyes and said "No."

All of the sudden the dream just vanished before my eyes; I became conscious of my physical body at that point and there was a current running all throughout my body. Shortly after I entered another dream and I was able to manipulate objects in my dream just by willing it. I played around with this for a while but I was so excited that I just opened my eyes. Ever since then I realize that when I dream of certain places it's like my unconscious mind wants me to realize that it is a dream, but I have not been able to come to that realization again as of yet.

Many times I'll wake up and think "It was trying to get my attention but in the dream I never came to that conclusion."

EDIT: This is the 2nd time in my life that I've woke up to electricity running throughout my body. The first time was in December of 2011.

Your post title attracted my attention here, I cannot sleep right now, I'm very restless and feel an intense heat "in" my legs. My torso and arms feel cold, but my legs are on fire!
I'm extremely agitated and sensitive and also grouchy. With a feeling of immense energy flowing but not sure where it is or where its flowing, perhaps all around me.
I see lots of flashes when I go to sleep, shapes and colours but they vanish before I can make sense of them?
I'm tired but can't sleep.

Ive just been doing some self healing, and while my eyes where closed, i saw on 3 separate occasions, these flashes of light that you describe.
they made me jump :)
Not in a scary way, but the last one was really bright, so it made me open my eyes, cos i was a bit shocked.
Also, for the past few weeks, on my right shin, i keep getting what can only be described as a really cool breeze, like someone is blowing cold air on my leg, just in the one spot, i have no idea what it is???
I like the flashes of light though;)

Ooh, also, after i had these flashes of light, and finished the healing, i thought i heard the postman coming up the stairs, (i live in a flat) he wasnt, cos i looked out of the window, but as soon as i moved away he was, it was like i was a few seconds into the future, i kinda freaked myself out, but gave a chuckle anyway!

I've recently stopped taking tramodol, after being kinda dependant on it for the last five years, I think that's what's wrong with me? Awful stuff, god knows what its done to me, I know for one thing its sapped my strength.
I now intend to eat healthily andget back into shape. I had a car accident and damaged my shoulder and was given them as a painkiller.

The Caller from (Freedom of Covert Harassment) began to describe what as 'Intense Heat' all over her body. The Call lasted quite a long time and Kerry & the 'Panel' went onto to discuss what may be some of the possible causes of this strange 'Heat'...

I really don't think it's a physical problem as I eat healthy and regularly go to the gym. Other than that, it doesn't feel like something "natural".

Hi, you would have heard all about scaler weapons in the radio podcast - they cause heat and discomfort to people and can do worse if turned up (e.g. a theory of 9/11 has them used as metal in cars all around the WTC was melted!)
