View Full Version : Sun Gazing...Solar Healing

We have a super computer in our bodies given to us by the nature, which is our brain. HRM (Hira Ratan Manek) calls it the “brainutor”. The brain is more powerful than the most advanced super computer. Each and every human being is gifted with innumerable talents, and infinite inherent powers by nature. Individuals should never underestimate themselves. Everyone is gifted. If we make use of these powers we can take ourselves to great levels. Unfortunately, these infinite inherent powers are programmed in that part of the brain that is largely dormant and goes unused. Even medical science agrees we hardly make use of the brain but about 5-7% – the most brilliant of humans like Albert Einstein is reported to have used only about 32% of their brains.

Hi guys.
I started sun gazing couple days ago. I'm up to 1 minute now. It's funny, but I started gazing even before hearing this guy. Apparently I was doing it at the wrong time, none the less, synchronicity I think not :-)
First couple sessions I saw violet sky around the sun, two days ago it was green.
Anyone has any experiences?

I’m up to 11 mins and 30 secs – but I did start in December 2009!! Yep, live in UK and probably will take me another few years to get up to 45 minutes. But I shall persevere as have already noticed eating less (and even not at all) and better eye sight. Feel as if I’ve got a handle on this balance business as well. Well worth doing it. :thumb:

I gaze whenever i can. If it is the first or last hour of the sun and i can see it i will spend as long as maybe 3 minutes now.
You must get past the initial coronal glare i find.
If your vision starts going red then call it a day, normal sight resumes in 10 seconds or so.
If you have to tilt your head to look up at the sun then it is probably too high and powerful.

An old friend of mine once told me that it was part his tribe's tradition to watch the sunrise every morning. I wonder if there is a connection.

When I hear this sort of thing I always wonder at how they get their percentages, because to do so you have to know the finite limit - which nobody does.
Shonky science.

The percentages are perhaps shonky, but the idea is likely correct.

I'm up to 04:40 though I haven't sungazed for quite a while.
I live in the city, so I have to ride my bicycle to a place where I can see the sun between buildings, and it's hard to gather up the motivation for it so early in the morning.

Well Folks...You are on my topic...It is my primary meditation process...and it goes way, way, way back with indigenous cultures.
I have well over 1200 hours of "direct" visual intake at sunrise and sunset in the last four years. I was prompted to be on the outer limits of this meditation process to pass it on to anyone that was drawn to the practice.
The sun's energy is getting more wonderfully powerful each day now...lots and lots of changes are happening and on the way...it is about the most direct connection between Mother Earth and the Cosmos we can be in rhythm with...
darker energies do NOT like the light...so if You "garner" Your Own Relationship in Your Own Way...it is a very, very good thing in these 'now' times of accelerated changes.
Some of my story and sharing from the past is here, I am 11 eagle11:

I am a sungazer but I'm stuck at 12 minutes for past 6 months due to heavy chemtrailing so every sunrise and sunset are blocked completely. I've got no benefits that I can point out so far but if that changes, I'll surely report it here.

The 5 - 7% meme can't possibly be true. The nervous system requires about 20% of our bodily energy. We would not have evolved our large brains if those brains were 93% inactive.
That is not to say that human beings don't have undeveloped potentials and talents. That is surely true. But the economics of natural selection requires that neurons pull their own weight.

Folks...my strong suggestion is to basically stop dissecting everything You read and hear...go with Your OWN Heart on these matters...
As far as sungazing goes...try it...if You like it build the time gazing up slowly at sunrise and sunset. You WILL be uplifted if You simply become more conscious of the light in Your OWN Way!!!
Step Up...and BE Yourselves...and Shine!!!
...
Here is my quick synopsis of gazing when I started...BUT... I was Ready and Open and Willing to go 'all the way' to step into the higher spiritual rhythms!!! Simply do that Your Own Way ANY way that connects You and feels right to You...it does not have to be 'direct' sungazing...there are many methods to connect.

Hello All!
Wonderful to be aboard!
Love and Light and Harmony to Each and Everyone Here at Celestine!
Read The Celestine Prophecy years ago and loved it!
I have had one heck of a beautifully energized year. I am sharing a brief outlay of my "direct and personal" experiences so that anyone can "look" into this for themselves if they choose : )
There are many, many, many good things on the way...and each one of us can help the goodness along by simply being the best we can be and the co-creation of love will unfold!
.....
In Synopsis Form:
-Since a child I remember feeling strongly that something was very wrong with the picture in front of me.
-Was immensely distorted by the way many people treated others demeaningly in day to day life.
-I had the inherent eye to eye philosophy...never talk down or look down to anyone.
-Had major issues with what most folks conformed to.
-Jumping to the present, My Mom(83) and My Son(21) went to the other side in June and August of 2003.
Mom went within a month of lung complications...My Son went in a deep sleep of basically choking from snoring apnea.
-Made a conscious decision to turn 180 degrees from energy-input- work-life as I knew it in 3d after the anger subsided from that summer of loss.
-From research on healing, holographics, eastern philosophies, light therapy(man-made)--- I simply decided to start taking in the sunlight visually at sunrise in January of 2007. This intuitive move was made because I basically shrugged my shoulders and accepted that it would simply be a focused benefit regarding 'making a connection' by doing this...even if I were actually putting myself in a guinea pig situation...it did not concern me...I jumped right in on faith and intuition and because I had worked outdoors most all of my adult life building and had had plenty of sun exposure...and I hardly ever wore sunglasses throughout life.
-Three days after starting visual sunrise intake for about a half hour or more I came across Dr. Mitchell Gibson's interview on the Conscious Media Network site.
http://www.consciousmedianetwork.com/members/mgibson.htm
From that interview I was led to other indiginious culture solar tradition and healing research...and well..the rest is history...making adjustments to my method of intake...as in barefoot-earth-contact, sunrise and sunsets, and re-building the time in increments, and taking wind-down gratitude walks afterwards : )
http://www.solarhealing.com/sgprocess.htm
-Now...that first few weeks following my initial solar meditation was, well, rather wild : ) Everything in front of me began to vibrate at a high intensity...colors around me seemed to almost glow, especially in nature. I began to see holographically by simply focusing for just seconds and playing with the contrasts of light. Mostly animal spirits and faces(human and animal) and some human figures and biological-type-glowing figures. Most all felt good and made me smile with enhancement...some darker images(not feeling right to me) appeared very rarely...if I turned away they would simply fade.
-I am on an old farming hill in a town/area in New England where the Nipmuc Indians have a strong history, especially on the lake nearby. [I had said all of my life that the Indians 'had it right' for the most part...and everyone that knew me knew of this feeling of mine.] The area across the street from me (mostly developed now) was actually an Indian cemetery/burial ground. The owner of the home across the street shared with me that he is right at the old entry way...he actually saved the granite pillars that use to mark the entrance and put them on either side of his driveway as respect and honor for their memory. You can see the old pathway to the grounds at the left of his front yard. This is a SACRED HILL. When I first started taking in the light I had a mind-blowing beautiful dream of my Son and Mom and Loved Ones...when I woke from it I was drawn across the street to the entry of the burial grounds.
A path was highlighted in front of me and as I followed it I was taken on top of a rock wall that went thru the woods and was brought to my knees on that wall and spouted out all the names of the loved ones in my life and that brought me to tears...breathing as if I were running a race. When I looked ahead the rock wall went left and right and both directions were highlighted. I had to make a decision of direction...I instinctively chose to the right after that spiritual connection on my knees. I came to a grassy area in the opening and simply fell into a large bowl-type depression in the ground and passed out for a couple minutes. Do not know if this hole was where body remains were dug up and moved or simply someone's backyard where they had dug earth for landscaping. When I came to I gazed at the small tree in front of me and saw an image of an antique "key" glowing in the branches and contrasts. I simply said to myself I am being told "I have the key"!
-A few days after this happening I had a session with a healing therapist an hour and a half away from me. She is connected to the processes(Re-Connective Healing) passed on by Dr. Eric Pearl who also has an interview on the Conscious Media Network site.
http://www.consciousmedianetwork.com/members/epearl.htm
Debbie was tuned in entirely to what had gone on with me and when we met there were very few words but many smiles...I had shared none of what had occurred that day with her prior to this meeting. When I laid down on the table to start my session I automatically put my hands together at the navel touching the thumbs and index fingers and creating an opening as is done in the lotus meditation position. And folks, I was never into any kind of meditation prior to these happenings...never went to a healing therapist never put my hands together for reception of energy...and so on. About a minute into relaxation on the healing table I felt an immense surge of energy coming in thru my hands and into my body at the navel area...and I mean an unbelievable thrust...it actually made my chest expand and my head push back against the pillow. The whole experience was immensely uplifting...as I had talked out loud and connected to My Son, My Mother and other Loved Ones...once again.
-A couple days after that session another intense dream and that "key" was revealed. And Y'All know what it is because You All know what it is...it is that simple. "UNCONDITIONAL LOVE" For Ourselves, For Others, For the Spirit World that is here to help Us if We ask and take Loving Action. Later that morning of that dream I was in the backyard chanting "Unconditional Love" jumping up and down like a little kid facing the sun...laughing out loud...saying..."Ok..ok..I get it...I get it...HaHaHa! I had to show Unconditional Love and acceptance towards this energy and enlightenment I was receiving because I was having doubts along the way regarding much of it too.
-When I went inside the message machine on my phone was blinking, played it back...
guess who? : )
It was Debbie, checking in on me, actually laughing in the message while asking, "Are You OK, Dan...just wanted to check in...give me a call if You feel the need.." And then She went on to confirm our next session appointment. Wild and Wonderful Stuff! : )

Indeed. Here's a bit on the matter from a scientific aspect:
http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=do-we-really-use-only-10
Now, just because it's literally not true from a biological perspective, does not mean, as you said, we do not have potentials far beyond what we normally exercise. This I definitely believe to be the case, as I have glimpsed this myself, as have so many others on these boards.
Sun gazing.... funny thought today as we have temps in the teens outside.
Not sure this applies in all climates. But I'd love to hear otherwise!

I wonder if this has something to do with the beneficial qualities of cobalt.
Pharmacists used cobalt bottles for medicine years ago.
I remember reading something about cobalt producing gamma rays, perhaps this is positively affecting the water you consume.
Interesting! I'll have to do some research on this :)

Thanks for the bump in this thread, as I have allowed my practice to slip somewhat. On sunny days I have begun to do my solar-bathing since the Equinox, but I have only gazed a few times thus far this year. I know that I need to do this daily as it has a powerful impact on my health and spiritual awareness - and is something I can do even in the winter mounts - but the sunbathing has its limitations due to where I live.

startign slow and building up, that seems to be the "gist" of it right?

I am so glad this topic is up. I began sun gazing about 5 years ago after taking the template ceremonies which reconnect some of the body circuits by energetically connecting to sacred geometry (TheTemplate.org). After these ceremonies my 'solar circuit' came on line permanently and I could gaze at the sun even in mid day. However, just to be safe I usually limit my long term gazing to sunrise and sunset. I adopted the formal practice of gazing daily as recommended by HRM and slowly extended the gazing time to 35 minutes daily over a 2+ month period. Each time I was prevented from continuing the practice by events in my life. The first time I moved to a new location and could not find a private place in the city to continue to gaze daily. The second time, I became seriously ill after 2.5 months, and had to quit because I became bed ridden. I have always wondered if the severe illness I experienced was a deep healing sparked by the daily gazing.
4 weeks ago I began again prompted by an inner desire. It has been no problem to resume, and am now up to 38 minutes daily. Currently I live near sand dunes, which allows me to stand or sit with bare feet in the tiny crystals of silica sand during my gazing. It is the highlight of my day.
I have found that my skull in the area of the third eye buzzes or vibrates after about 20 minutes of gazing. This tapers slowly off over a 2 hour period or so after gazing. Both the sun and the surrounding sky have begun to pulsate with changing colors each time I gaze. This vivid color show does not occur every minute of each session, but is present at least 80% of the time. This might be the 3rd eye coming onto line, or.... the sun playing with me. The typical color range I see daily includes magenta, peach, green, gold, orange, yellow, and lavender.
With so much talk of solar storms, possible food crisis, water shortages and other looming disasters my goal is to become self-sufficient without needing food. I was a breatharian many long years ago, but let this go so I could interact with other people over traditional social dining at work and in my family. Now with an aging body (60 years), I can no longer go back to this unless I give my body the support it needs to return to this level of health. HRM did his gazing after retirement age, and I am hoping my body will be able to take the leap as well.
I'd love to hear from anyone in the forum who has been able to make it through the HRM protocol into breatharianism successfully. If you are out there please write us all a note.

Yes! I see orbs and brilliant color displays while gazing. And they change moment by moment. I used to believe it was all happening within my eye/brain structure. However, I am sure the sun is varying its frequencies all the time, which can only be directly perceived by gazing and allowing your mental awareness to soften slightly and become more receptive. With the new understandings about plasma I have wondered if I am might be becoming aware of plasma and able to actually record it with sight. Anyway... YES!!!... brilliant displays of all kinds of colors and orbs coming towards earth, and the air beginning to throb and dance with color.
I love sungazing!

Hi everyone, It has been 2 months since I began sungazing again. Since I've done some serious gazing in the past 4 years I was able to begin my new routine with 20 minutes of gazing and am now up to 43 minutes each evening. I live on the central coast of California, so an evening gazing routine over the Pacific Ocean while standing barefoot on the white sand seems perfect here. I am still experiencing a reaction to brightness on some days, and when I notice any eye strain I just shift my gaze to the sun's reflection on the ocean water below.
I am concerned about earth changes.... perhaps that is the wrong word... I am aware that there are changes coming to the earth and I'd like to thrive with the new energies. To me, this means that I'd like to get off my dependence on food, fear around not having it, and the hours of time spent growing it or making the money to buy it. I was a breatharian for a short 3 months at age 38, and made the decision to join the energy of humanity as a whole in order to interact socially, a decision I have come to regret deeply. Now, at age 60, my digestion is very sensitive, my body has gained weight, and I suffer from arthritis off and on. I know what is coming as I age further... and I am not looking forward to it. However, although breatharians might still appear to age, they do not suffer the same consequences as those of us who still consume food. So I am motivated.
At this point in my sungazing routine I no longer have hunger, however I do have the urge to eat. I decided to research how other sungazers made the transition to being a breatharian. There are some great links in post #19 (in this thread), and I spent a few days combing through them. What I learned is that eating food is an addiction. One that our parents, and our society, reinforce from the time we are infants. Every adult knows that when you give an upset child food they immediately calm down. And that's what food is.... a drug. As long as we eat cooked food we are numbed out and dumbed down. It is probably the most gripping addiction on the planet, however now might be the time in history that this can change. It is reported by HRM and other sungazing teachers that there are over 20,000 sungazers worldwide... so I am not alone.
I am writing this post as a work in progress. Here is where I am so far.... 6 days ago I became a fruitarian. Now, this may not sound like becoming a breatharian, however a number of people have done this as an intermediate step. Interestingly I am not hungry, but I am having emotional releases that feel like the heaviest and most serious energies I have dealt with for a long time. What I have noticed is that if I reach for food or begin imagining it, that is my signal to go inside NOW. I always find an intense energy in my stomach, throat, or heart that is heavy and dense. All I need to do is focus on these energies and the desire for food vanishes. I won't say this is easy, like any addict, the urges to eat cooked food in order to numb myself out continue to haunt me. However, if I continue to remain conscious (instead of unconsciously reaching for food), they vanish with the dissolving energy.
It seems as if this post has been abandoned by most of the forum, however I will continue to leave updates hear in case any one decides they would like to go 'all the way' and try to kick the food addiction. I'll let you know what is happening with me.
OH! I almost forgot, there is a wonderful vibration in the area of my third eye that begins 5-10 minutes into gazing now and a mild sweet taste in my mouth all day long. From reading I know this is the pineal coming on line and beginning to make amrita. I've heard this can be enhanced by chanting while gazing at the sun so I do a chant to begin and end my gazing. I have also added thumping the sacred drum by tapping the base of the skull with my fingers. (I'll see if I can find the link - it's here in another thread- about how to do this.

Abundant Traveler, thank you so much for sharing your experiences, as well as everyone else in the thread. This is so important. I wouldn't call myself a sun-gazer, as I don't do it consistently, but I do gaze at the sun whenever I think about it and it's a sunny day ... I can look at it for as long as I want in the mornings and afternoons, and I can look at it also once it has passed midday and is moving down the sky, although it is much more intense obviously and it takes a while to be able to do it. I've found that closing your eyes and looking in the direction of the sun, basking in the heat and the red glow behind your eyelids, then entering a meditative state where you thank the sun for its energy and warmth, feeling love coming from your heart toward the sun, actually makes the intensity die down and, at that moment that you feel the intensity fade, if you open your eyes, you can gaze directly at Sol. So beautiful, so strong, the energy just bathes the optic nerves, the mind and the body.

I am really glad I have stumbled across this thread. The idea that I am able to get all my energy from the sun resonates with me and sounds kind of logical.
Haha, coincedentally I will spend my next 9 months at the eath coast of Spain, where I have a much bigger chance of a having a nice sunrise than in Germany. Lucky me.
Today I had my first "Sun gazing meditation". It is a really nice way to start the day.

I wanted to say that when I started watching the sun, I got violet, too. I'm up to about 40 seconds btw....But the last time I gazed was a few days ago and I saw a rainbow of colors going AROUND the sun. All of the colors changed lengths and places as they moved around the sun. I've never seen this before. Has anyone had this type of experience?

Yes, I've seen that, the purple aura as well, today the light from the sun was especially clear around 5 pm eastern time, it had a supernal feel to it, shadows were very sharp and it was difficult to maintain a steady gaze for long, but at the same time it was quite beautiful. The clarity was so startling, as was the colors gold and a light green that I could see nearest the sun also ... the dark image that comes when you watch for a moment allows you to see larger movements, or some of the patterns on the sun if there are sun spots covering much of the surface, and if you watch the violet or whatever color you see around it, you can see emanations ...

This topic is so juicy for me. I love everyone's sharing.
I am at 45 minutes now, and re-started a daily commitment to sun gazing 10 weeks ago. My hunger has pretty much vanished, however I find I still eat due to the habit of using food to calm my nervous system. I am heading towards fruitarianism after reading the experiences of others. I've been on a 95% raw diet for about 3 months now. I still have a couple days a week when I crave a glass of raw milk or a bit of raw cheese, and sometimes I give in to these urges. I have found that moving off cooked food and dairy products has opened me up to some interesting releases from my body.... for example there was a day when I experienced 10 hours of terror as this frequency left my cells. I knew it was a release, rather than actual terror, but it was still very uncomfortable.
Now I am adding in long barefoot walks on the sand as HRM recommends. I don't do these every day yet, however.
The last few days were heavily foggy and there was no visible sun. After 3 days without gazing I have found myself craving regular food today. I finally had a homemade canned salmon salad with lots of fresh garden herbs to satisfy this, however I couldn't eat much of it because it seemed so heavy.
Interestingly, I have found that I am also going off of water. This is an unexpected surprise. I used to drink a gallon or more daily, however have dropped to about 2-4 cups daily. After researching the experience of other sun gazers who decided to experiment with releasing the addiction to food, I discovered this is a natural part of the process. It might also be that the fruit I eat contains so much water that my body does not desire much of the 'straight stuff'.
It remains to be seen as to whether I can or will give up food. I am not pushing anything, but allowing the unfoldment of this experience to amaze and delight me.

Is it that we only use 5-7% of our brain, or is it that medical science can only account for 5-7% of the way(s) we use our brain?
The other 93-95% must be just aching to wake up and be active.

wow. as i'm reading this thread now, the song on the radio just came on, 'the house of the rising sun'. i take that synchronicity as confirmation that watching the sun is good, and any propaganda that comes out saying it can hurt you is just disinformation, and meant to stop you from receiving the benefits.

Hi Slipknotted....Wishing You Well!
It does NOT damage the eyes if done from the heart at early sunrise and late sunset and best to use HRM's method of 10 second build up each time. http://solarhealing.com/process/
.
I have well over 1300 hours of direct visual intake of the sunlight over the past 4 3/4 years.
Some of my story here, I am 11eagle11: http://www.celestinevision.com/celestine/forum/viewtopic.php?t=739
If You have damaged or weak eyes simply be more directly "conscious" of the sun light...maybe take the reflection off of water when You are out in nature once in a while.
We have been blatantly lied to about the sun and its energy...as well as a million other things : )
New Sungazing is a slow and diligent process to get Our Eyes "re-acclimated" to and with what was once natural...the "fearmongers" included the sun in their propaganda over many, many, many years to turn Us away from this "direct" relationship!!
Each of Our Own Direct Interaction with the Sun "changes" the Sun's interaction with ALL of Humanity...I know it sounds crazy...crazy good!

I think this is the right thread.
His protocol rings to me.
Good healing technique must have no side effect. Mind is over body.
Hira Ratan Manek (HRM) sun gazing:
Sun gazing time: Within one hour after sun rise, before sun set, daytime during UV index is below two.
Sun gazing duration: 10 second incremental.
1st day: 10s
2nd day: 20s
3rd day: 30s
...
90th day (three months): 15 min
Drinking sun charged water: put water in a clear glass bottle or jar for 24 hours, then drink it.
Sun bath: when UV index is between two and five. Half hour.

Hughe, the Huna tradition (Ho-Oponopono) talks of putting the water into a blue bottle, then placing in the Sun. Could different colors imprint different characteristics to the water? Sort of like healing with different color frequencies?
Dawn, can you expand on the practice of eating only fruit? Aren't you fearful of all the sugar? Doesn't the sugar feed the bad bacteria in the gut? Does the Sun's energy deflect any negative consequences of eating so much sugar? Do you want me to stop with the questions? ;)

Sort of like healing with different color frequencies?
Probably.
Each color absorbs different amount energy from heat/light source. He suggests to use a clear glass container and lid (NO PLASTIC) for maximum sun water.
This one is good reading of Hira Ratan Manek's sun gazing protol.

While I was sun gazing this summer I would look directly at the sun at any point in the day & I am arguably "closer" to the sun than most places are (being in Alaska), I've never suffered any damage ( my eyes are checked regularly due to military protocol).
I did start in the morning / evening periods to build up resistance to the intensity (it's VERY intense!) and always felt very "filled" and content with the practice, I cannot ground myself properly in the winter and the sun seems harsher so I don't do it currently.

I do 20 min every day...but during the winter is so cloudy and freezing that I don't bother. Soon as the clouds are gone, will get back on track.
I never had any issues regarding my eyesite, but never lost my appetite for food, will see when I increase the time.

My brother used to do sungazing and damaged his eyes he would have gone blind if he continued,
he didn't notice that he was damaging his eyes!
But luckily he had his eyes checked and the optician was shocked and said he's never seen something like that before, that is when he stopped.
Don't remember the details.

The HRM site has been jeopardized (I can still access it) ... or another???
I have only tried sungazing several times due to scheduling and family responsibilities making it hard to commit to a "shifting time period" ... but felt something special when I have. Location plays a part as well (hey if you live on the north/south pole good luck with that one :) ). Staying grounded by being barefoot in colder climates another obvious challenge.
As most all know the Sun is getting ***BRIGHTER***. I have to drop my kids at school and sometimes it is almost impossible now driving into the sunlight.
Anyway ... the timetable mentioned with the HRM material ... for someone new starting out would you think that still holds regarding safety in lieu of the obviously increasing strength/brightness???
Thanks always for your many contributions eaglespirit :thumb:

Hi Calz, Yes and Thank You...Happy Friday : )
Yes, the method of ten second added build up each direct meditation time at early sunrise or late sunset is good, even with increased sun energy we are experiencing. And once again...it is a personal preference and resonance, plain and simple.
As I have shared before...simply be more super conscious of the natural light now, especially as these shift changes accelerate.
Enjoy the reflection off of a pond or river out in nature while connecting there. It is a wonderful rhythm that helps us integrate with these changes much more smoothly and naturally, imho!
edited to add this:

yes Calz, the HRM site,
I got multiple warnings on my computer, that's all, never happened before...
just wanted to let Folks know, in case
