A Divided World

A present figures suggest there are 196 countries in our world.

Why is our species so divided? Even within these countries there are sub divisions and it goes further.

Has not history taught us that divisions causes evny, conflict, and greed? Does it not make sense to unity for the common good? Is not the old saying a "divided house" will not stand valid?
