Sweden has been looked upon as a model western social/ Liberal
government and people....With human rights observed and justice
for all. So why do they look as if they are acting like.....

Sweden has rejected a request by Ecuador to interview Julian Assange in the South American country's
embassy in London - that's according to Wikileaks Twitter feed. The whistleblower has been holed up in
the embassy for the past six week seeking asylum in Ecuador. Assange wants to avoid being extradited
to Sweden over sex crime allegations and fears he will then be sent to the US.

Julian Assange has been holed up in Ecuador's diplomatic mission for over 6 weeks now, seeking asylum.
He denies the sex crime claims and believes they're just a pretext to hand him over to the US There, he
fears prosecution for espionage after a massive leak of secret diplomatic and military files. Assange's
lawyer, Jennifer Robinson, says America's given no assurances that they're not interested in prosecuting
him - even though it could be done easily.
