The human being often seeks company with others of similar social, economic and educational backgrounds. It provides a “comfort” zone for their concept of a normal environment.

This comfort zone can be brought into question when an event happens in their life, which brings into doubt this basic and very limited view of the way the world is, according to their experience. This often provides a unwielding behaviour of the human mind to find a rational explanation for the event that they are witnessing.

This rational search for familiarity, leads down a path of ignoring what they see, and seek others of similar mindsets to strengthen their limited view of what is deemed, to them, as reality. They frankly in some cases, “run away” from the experience of something they cannot explain.

Psychic phenomena is often the cause of such behaviour, and in everyday life, for many it is not even considered, since they are pre occupied by the “conditioning” provide to us all by the social masses, and the forces that wishes to control us. Yet occasionally this phenomena breaks through into their concept of what is deemed reality. This in time ultimately, will force the human race as a whole to face the true nature of this phenomena.

Excellent topic for a thread, a lot of people end up on medication or in institutions due to ignorance and fear of this all too real aspect of existence.
