Been Pondering This Today. Im slighty curious as to why we sent Curiosity to Mars recently. Spending probably billions of tax dollars on this project. For what?.... NASA to lie to us. Are they filming this landing on a set in Hollywood perhaps? Is this a B/S mission used to fund the infamous black ops projects? What will we gain here? Shouldnt we be spending this money here on Earth. Maybe To Feed The Poor, Shelter The Homeless, Care for the elderly, the sick etc. I guess im old fashioned perhaps. But i just dont trust anything our crooked government here in The USA is up to, especially NASA. Your thoughts.......if you will.

I've found it very strange that this mission is being publicized so heavily. People that I know, VERY sleepy people, (who would usually never even KNOW about a space-mission, much less be interested in it,) have approached me regarding this subject.
I've looked at the 'official' explanations for this mission. "[The Curiosity rover is looking for signs of life, past and present, due to the discovery of water on Mars. Also, the lander will be searching for geological clues to Mars' past.]"
Is this all in the name of disclosure? TPTB - "Hey, look what we've JUST found up here!!! Just now... seriously." It is no scientific mystery that bacteria propagates all throughout space, though these facts may not be on a level of widespread knowledge. So,... what TYPE of life are they looking for?
I'm sure we all have an inclining as to what 'geological clues' could and might surface,... but WILL they be surfaced?
To me, it feels like the script was written for 'what-will-be-found' before Curiosity ever left our atmosphere.

C'mon, don't be afraid to say it: BEST case scenario is rich politician's pet project or influential scientist's throwing his proverbial stick around (it is called "curiosity"), more likely it is money laundering psy-op.
.... if they actually wanted us to KNOW anything, we'd be showing Apollo-doubters how dumb they are with google moon. As it were, we can't get a decent pic. But can land an effing car on mars.
Heh...Maybe it's our "masters' " sick joke, hey look--bet you i can get a mars mission before you get a moon satellite public...

I must say , I felt sorry for the young NASA employee's jumping and celebrating when the touchdown occurred. We had satelites in orbit around mars in 1972 , cities there, bases there, water , trees, underground tunnels, a jumproom , and a race of beings that helped our ancestors that migrated to mars after losing their star and planet. These guys think they are doing something by landing a balloon with a camera. somebody should tell them and bring them up to speed about mars. We cant fix our problems here , and they want to look around out there ?? Hey look another place to trash, what water ? we can pollute that to, and charge extra for maritan water, yea thats the ticket. Bet they cant wait to go there and build fences and pour concrete, and run miles and miles of cable to sell power to the new customers of marsville. Martians should show up and demand our government pay a HUGE TAX to view mars, pay the mars viewing tax or we will take your planet as payment , no free rides earthlings. Ride around taking pictures of mars ? we already did that. Hey lets do it again, yea, and lets start another space race, yea, lets start another war , yea I know then lets go take more pictures of mars again , yea . What a complete waist of money. Pictures of mars won't feed my kids, or shelter me from the heat, or lower the price of gas, or clean the air I breathe. The money spent on this project could have made everyone in the US a millionaire, with money left over and photoshop to do the rest.

;) I think so too. While the image comes from this web-site, (http://tech.bemoor.com/about.php?id=195) I believe that it comes from the work of Richard Hoagland (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_C._Hoagland) and Co. originally (I know, not everyone likes to ride in that boat...)
While I agree that it is highly probable that the mission is, in part, a cover for another black-ops budget, I don't think that this is the whole story here. The simple fact is that 'they' don't care about telling the people, right to our faces, that they are stealing our money -

I speculate, as well, that there may be "precious cargo," sent along with the rover as a 'care-package' to a base(s), that may not be able to be sent via jump-room and/or black technology craft...

I think this Father and Son Dynamic Duo should be funded before NASA. If you've never seen this video i suggest you take 6 minutes to view it. You would be suprised what you can do with a weather balloon and an IPhone ehh.

There is more to Mars than meets the eye. They know far more about what is there. Maybe they are looking for something other than what has been stated in the public arena.

You read my mind Whitefeather. I have been wondering all the same things that you have mentioned. Something doesn't smell right on this one though. I love the shot shown on TV of Curious landing from the satellite that is already there. ( Or is that from the window of a Space Command craft that was waiting for the show?). Maybe they are going to use this as a reason for a little more disclosure. Maybe they will say that something is found that may show life on mars. YEAH RIGHT, HA- HA!!!
Mostly I think it is a smoke screen for something more insidious like money laundering for black projects. Either way I am not expecting much from the billions that were spent. I just wonder how the money for this could have been considered necessary with the economy so bad. I just think of the good that could have been done for the poor in this country with that money.

All i'm going to say is; we spend a lot more money on things that have a lot less value to the human species such as:
U.S. retail sales alone of potato chip are over $6 billion a year.
Americans spent nearly $10 billion on cosmetic procedures in 2011. to name only a couple
The sticker price for Curiosity is
Sticker price (including delivery): $2.6 billion.

Thanks for this thread and saying what some may be pondering...
It has very much read as a staged event to me...
EVERYTHING has been lately...i am beginning to question all of space out there..its beginning to blend as if space is apart of..ALL the world is a stage
SERIOUSLY folks...we havent even begun to scratch the surface of OURSELVES let alone worrying about "OUT THERE"

PS... these things we ponder seem to be well versed, discussed, and known in the hearts of many...My biggest wish is to SEE/FEEL a shift that makes ALL THIS BULL**** GO AWAY. (and i dont mean this in a destructive vein) One day please...one day

They're still keeping people thinking and wondering if there's life out there....And the only thing they use as an example is microscopic life. Like they can't think alittle bigger than than that? Like maybe humanoid and nonhumanoid lifeforms? So, they need to start playing the honesty game and reveal ALL of the truth about life out there in the universe. They're the only dummies for lying to us....
