I have now and in the past experienced problems with electrical items. Light bulbs popping one after the other. Computers, TVs,and radio problems as well. I have had a number of items died on me, and its getting a bit expensive to say the least
There has been times when street lights dim and then become brighter when I pass them. There are periods when these problems do not occur. So whats causing all this?

First thought that comes to mind is you give off more energy in an unfocused manner than most. If you dont learn to control it I wouldnt suggest not applying for jobs at utility companies.
Have you ever tried feeling for electrical fields or lines in the wall? If you are sending out something that is affecting them, then perhaps you can feel what you are affecting(not unlike feeling things with your hand, just on a more sensitive scale). Once you can feel, then you can focus and cause the problems at will. Once you know how to do it, then you can stop it from happening.
The above is the most useless set of instructions, but I still offer it as my straight from my mind assistance. If it is helpful I am pleased. If it gives you a light chuckle then I am most certainly pleased.

Ive read of many other accounts of people have problems with electrical items, so at least I know I'm not alone in this.

Happens to me, too bogeyman. I'm certain it has to do with our energetic field. I like to look at the streetlight phenomenon as a 'Cosmic Wink' ;-) These electrical anomalies as well as too many 'paranormal' type events to count have occurred my entire life so it's all I know. It is what it is!

I know when they're going to fail but I can't help myself. :)

You are not alone, for sure.
Happens to me too. Streetlights go out when I near them (some seem to be more sensitive than others), digital equipment often malfunctions for me. I have not noticed any affect on TVs or audio equipment, but "smart phones" are notoriously senstive.

From your own Thread Bogeyman........Vibrational Rates

BLOWING LIGHT BULBS AND ELECTRONICS:
If this is happening to you, then you are really reaching a very high vibratory rate and will probably be a profound healer or channel for spirit. It is due to extremely high energy coming into the physical form. It could be described as 50,000 volts of electricity coming in at once, not only can the body not cope, but it goes through the body and out again and as it does so it affects all electronic equipment.

If you are wanting to stop it you could try grounding/discharging once a day by having barefeet on the earth. We live in a soup of emf's quite possibly collecting significant charge. Maybe it happens more in winter when you are more 'insulated' (wearing shoes).

try a good size piece of tourmaline worn in your field
handles high energy well

Your high senses/sensitivity and consciousness gets trapped in the 3D invironment at those moments.
Open the porthole and it should be fine :)

many abductees disrupt electrical equipment, esp right after an abduction -- i went into a video rental store once & all the computers crashed as i walked by them [felt bad about this] --
assuming that everyone posting on this thread is not an abductee -- these lights blowing, etc -- has it started happening recently? or has it been happening all your life?

This also happens to me as well, i.e. I'll be walking along the street and the lights go off as I'm passing them! Never really given it much thought though so thanks for sharing your experiences. I don't destroy any electronic equipment, thank God!
