View Full Version : Pieces of a Jigsaw

There has been many events in my life which a number of occurrences have seemly come together like "pieces of a jigsaw".

These happening's have been described as synchronicity by Carl Jung. I will not place any name or tag on these events, I just put them in a box called "experiences of life".

One event which I shall write here is most unusual, since I may of been under the influence of powers great than I. Here is what happen:

I was in the city near where I live, I wasn't in the city for any particular reason. Then came an overwhelming urge to go into a bookshop, I marched in a determined and military like manner to the shop, entered it, went straight into the basement area, marched a few paces, stopped, turned my head 45 degrees, and right in front of me was a book I was interested in. Nothing in that section or even in the basement upon further looking was of interest to me. It is strange because moments after I found this book, I was walking around in a relaxed and typical manner as usual, and not the untypical "marching" around.

This is just one event of many, on occasions, I have had the insight to see the events coming together in a structured manner, like they were "meant to be".

Okay....were you struggling a little with that 'meant to be' bit, or illustrating it?

Nice post bogeyman. Carl's dead now though, so now he sees a bit more of the picture.
It's interesting how we get such a surprise when synchronicity is seemingly acting in our favor for a change. When the universe conspires to
make us miserable it goes unnoticed. We won't admit that everything works in sync.
There is a goal that takes whatever it takes.
Yet every moment leads to the next to the next to the next to reach some marker. Something you remember, or try hard not to.
So isn't a future the same?
When it's working it's a memory of freedom tapping on the egg. When it's not working, it's working perfectly. Observe the changes in you in the hard times. You'll enjoy that.
It kind of gives everything a true purpose.

I like the book falling off the rack stories. Mine hit me on the head. That's okay, I threw it against a wall once.
But we actually read those books. Imagine how hard it would be to arrange for you to someday decide for yourself you wanted to go get that book?
Screw it...we'll just take the bastard there. Hit him on the head if we have to.

Or people who slip on a banana skin, break a leg, end up in hospital,
just so they can finally read that book they were trying so hard to avoid.
Next thing...major life change for the better.
So the sh!t that happens is no banana skin at all but the free ticket to ride the magic carpet
to freedom.
