While I appreciate being kept abreast of all recent earthquake activity, 10 separate threads in one day seems a bit much. Would it be possible to consolidate these into a single thread?

These USGS threads are started automatically, one per earthquake of sufficient size. One can scan this Earthquakes, Latest reports and discussions (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/forumdisplay.php?77-Earthquakes-Latest-reports-and-discussions) sub-forum, observing the threads whose title is of the form "M X.X Location", where X.X is an earthquake size 5.0 or larger, just looking at the thread titles, and get a sense of how many earthquakes there are, how severe, and where. Most of these threads have zero (0) replies, and aren't worth even looking at individually, unless you want to see the map location or depth details.

In short ... perhaps not ideal ... but usable and we're unlikely to change how it is organized.
