Scientists Successfully ‘Hack’ Brain To Obtain Private Data

"Researchers from the University of California and University of Oxford in Geneva figured out a way to pluck sensitive information from a person’s head, such as PIN numbers and bank information.

The scientists took an off-the-shelf Emotiv brain-computer interface, a device that costs around $299, which allows users to interact with their computers by thought.

The scientists then sat their subjects in front of a computer screen and showed them images of banks, people, and PIN numbers. They then tracked the readings coming off of the brain, specifically the P300 signal.

The P300 signal is typically given off when a person recognizes something meaningful, such as someone or something they interact with on a regular basis.

Scientists that conducted the experiment found they could reduce the randomness of the images by 15 to 40 percent, giving them a better chance of guessing the correct answer.

Another interesting facet about the experiments is how the P300 signal could be read for lie detection.

In the paper that the scientists released, they state that “the P300 can be used as a discriminative feature in detecting whether or not the relevant information is stored in the subject’s memory.

“For this reason, a GKT based on the P300 has a promising use within interrogation protocols that enable detection of potential criminal details held by the suspect,” the researchers said.

However, scientists say this way of lie detection is “vulnerable to specific countermeasures,” but not as many compared to a traditional lie detector.

This could only be the beginning of a new form of fraud. Scientists say that a person with their guard lowered could be “easily engaged into ‘mind games’ that camouflage the interrogation of the user and make them more cooperative.”

Also, much like other household electronics, “the ever increasing quality of devices, success rates of attacks will likely improve.” ... "

I find that when things are announced into the open in this way, things have already been worked out behind the curtain.

If this blows your mind just wait. If this is what is public just wait until you see what the secret government has. They are a 1000 years ahead of, by now they probably have this and a hell of a lot more.

Don't know the specifics of the readings they get, though it still seems a lot like like guesswork on the people attempting to read the mind, and they are looking for high levels of activity when the person recognises something, which has probably been going on for the past two decades now, not quite able to really see numbers or images (though there has been developments there to see what the person sees)
Depending on how you see the world though, public technology is behind military technology by 25-50 years, and overall we're 25 years advanced. Or could be that technology is much further than we will see for a long time, there was deathbed confessions by Lockheed Martin CEO, Ben Rich, claiming the ability to travel to other stars and such is there, and Lockheed Martin does has various facilities tucked away (supposed anti-grav technology testing, part of government underground bases etc) and have contracts with the US, not quite a civilian company as much as they may have been when first established.

Science and technology is likely two tier system, you have public, which includes universities, independent labs, computer companies etc with the military and governments being second tier, US undoubtedly being the most advanced.

I think the "black-ops" science is very far ahead - e.g. I know a lot of UFOs are actually "black-op" projects and witnesses have said they saw modern laptops back in the 1960s (although this seems strange to me as the software wasn't thought of back then).

Dr Steven Grier of the Disclosure Project stated in numerious interviews over the past several years that he has interviewed many people within the sciences of the black budget programs and they are "light years" ahead of the rest of the world in many ways (including zero point energy which he states to have seen in a home.) I remember one interview where he states he was told that they (Black goverment) have mechines that can bring (now what was the term he used? Demon?) other entities into this world and materialize. Very crazy stuff, light years ahead of us. I have recalled many interviews of people saying no thought in this world is safe. Makes a person wonder if this is true.
THanks to Nomad for posting this. I have since discovered this new tech I did not know I could buy for $300. I wish I had the money to try it.

"the enormous "Ring of Life" in Fushun, Liaoning Province"

"The huge ring uses 3,000 tons of steel and is 157 meters in diameter. Decorated by 12,000 LED lights, the landmark building looks splendid and like a time machine, according to a china.com.cn report.

The name "Ring of Life" means a round sky and a path leading to a paradise in heaven, said an article on the official website of the Fushun Municipal Government.

In response to some critics who say the building is not practical, Xia Hongjun, a senior local official in Fushun, said "Ring of Life" is designed as landscape architecture and four elevators will be installed for sightseeing.

Officials with the Urban Construction Bureau of Fushun explained they gave up on creating entertainment projects because the local population is too small. Thus, the landmark building is only for sightseeing. "

It's been hinted to me several times (including in anonymous emails!) that thoughts can be read at will from targeted individuals by highly advanced technology, even at a great distance.

As for remote viewing, it is possible to put people in a hypnotic trance, where the waking barrier between conscious states and unconscious states is ..uhm.. 'considerably lessened'. In that state, a hypnotic subject, specifically a skilled remote viewer (and trained hypnotist, skilled in remote viewing aspects and issues) can 'read' just about anything.

No more vagueness, no more conscious impressions and conscious considerations getting in the way of a clean 'read'.

Sounds like a form of synthetic telepathy. If thoughts can be read then perhaps they can send info the other direction as well. Implanting thoughts. Or for lack of a better definition a synthetic telepathy interrogation. I wonder if the human being can do something too.

@nomadguy & others: so, are you saying that current "mainstream" Science are NOT real?.. and also honestly & terribly lacking behind in reality?..

Proof?...
(since "extraordinary claim would need extraordinary evidence" )

I am saying that I think that "mainstream" Science is a mockery in comparison to that which is hidden from the public view.
I have NO proof about synthetic telepathy, I am asking that question.
Does anyone know more about this?
And can they share that knowledge here?

furthermore ~
What is telepathic proof?

Bill do you have anything else on this that you can share?

Addition I made this thread with the intenion to discuss "How far ahead has science gone?" ~ Both hidden from view and in plain view. So one area is not the only thing we can talk about here.

An interesting subject has been presented by the History channel,
https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/q71/s720x720/1010847_409069119209496_1310659802_n.jpg
"According to scholars,
the advanced design of Teotihuacan suggests that ancient builders had knowledge,
not only of architecture, but of complex mathematical and astronomical sciences.

From the air, the city's layout strangely resembles a computer circuit board
with two large processor chips -- the Sun Pyramid and the Moon Pyramid."

This is certainly a very strange coincidence.
It causes one to wonder if most of our most recent technological boom was due to the back engineering of either off-world technologies or ancient high level technologies. or both....

One of the problems in America (to use someone else's words) is a lack of "creative anarchy".

We labor beneath an illusion of permanence -- and are told that in order to maintain this false permanence we have to work.
And in order to receive credit for work, we have to work for someone who is backing up this illusion -- or we starve.

There is no freedom in a society dominated by banks. Ideas that don't make money, challenge big money, or permit the existence of "free energy" in any form (including human energy), are suppressed, destroyed, buried, or stolen.

I am less worried about "what kind of toys the gov't has" than how little the rest of us have.

We accept mediocre manufacturing products, mediocre education, mediocre medicine, mediocre leadership.

Anyone who is naturally ahead of the curve is either redirected or destroyed.

it is ALWAYS easier to hijack and redirect power/energy than to confront it.

The trouble with the USA is that it's so goddamned powerful, it can afford to confront almost anything.

Who wants to be called a traitor? :(

I don't even like capitalism LOL, and I was supposed to be some kind of smart kid once upon a time.

We suffer from a dearth of access to creative minds.

Thanks for your rant, I very much agree. However that is a wee bit off topic no?
