The Feeling of "Love"

I hope I'm posting this in the right place, if not, moderators please feel free to move it. I don't usually have "insights" during the daytime while I'm busy doing things, and if I'm lucky enough to have them they're almost always in the mornings just as I'm waking up. I had a strange one this morning about the feeling of "love". It was if I was asking out about love instead of information coming to me. My question was, "When you're not thinking about the person (including animals, spirits or whatever it is that one can love), do you still love them during that period time that you're not thinking about them? I love my kids and so many other people in my life especially my Higher Power, but do I only love them when I'm thinking about them? I don't why I was thinking about this, but I am a little puzzled by it. Any thoughts on that?

Also, I have found that in my dreams I can love the people in my dreams so powerfully that it almost hurts. I wake up still feeling the intensity of the love and it takes a while for the feeling to gradually wear off. Anyone else experience this?
