Just found this photo floating about.. can't find any more info but it's a great picture.

If you tilt your screen back you can see more detail within the light. I have just got back from a long trip and I'm jet lagged, so sorry if already posted but thought I'd put this up and see what you all come up with.

Thanks Skib. I've seen several of these on videos. I believe the ones I saw are probably stills from the Antartic Research station. Interesting.

It looks like the sun but larger than normal and like it is dipping down through the clouds ... weird photo indeed.

P.S. There is also a light shimmering behind the mountains ... could it be a reflection on the clouds ?

perhaps the light shimmering behind the mountain is from the sun and this round thing is something entirely different??

Probably ... that big thing cannot be the sun (too big, only a half sun etc.etc.).

I have the 'feeling' we are looking at a sunrise from behind the mountains and the big thing is a ceiling lamp
reflected on the window glass ...

It got posted originally on a chinese twitter type of forum.

Many times I have gone to take a pic from some hotel and the room light is in the way. This is at a tilt so was done by someone with a mobile and what they were seeing was actually a quite nice sunset and they grabbed their mobile phone and just took a lazy photo.

Is this object actually penetrating our air space/atmospheric region and the sun/our Sun is what the reflection is beyond the mountains and not yet risen?
It looks oddly like that. Splashing into our atmospher that close?
Hmmmm....inquiring minds want to know.

It looks like that to me. As if a planetoid has just half entered our Earth's air space, and China just had a quake that no one wants to talk about? I wonder if Darth Cheney is still holding nations hostage with HAARP? And Why don't we hear anything about this equipment on our media, yet other developed nations are openly discussing it? Our villains have not been prosecuted and if they are doing this in our name, then it makes the country as a WHOLE responsible for the monsters unleased on them, regardless of whether enough American Citizens know of it. That is what they mean by innocent people killed for other's deeds. The karma of Iraq, a vengeance war, will not rest. I think I'm gonna do like John said in Revelation during the 3 woes and get me out the land of those who mock God and life. It's not worth me dying for a country that still doesn't recognize me as a human because of my color. I want just that peace, to go in peace. I'm just praying and rambling at the same time, but this is the time to free my mind of what is binding me here so I too can rise in consciousness. I will move to Canada. Canadians mind their own people/nations business and if "the inside job of Bush Family" wouldn't have happened Canada would have never been in Afghanistan. Canada doesn't get involved in other nations affairs, unless they are giving to charitable progressive causes to help the people. Medicine, education, training, opening a small entrepeneurial business, Women's groups on health.

America has NO business giving money to war like nations, and those nationalities know who I'm talking about. They start fires then call on America to put them out with our blood.

Generation X, Y, and Z won't be lead by people who's phychopathic tendencies are to kill and maim innocent families for the national resources of the country.

Woe one, and NO apology or repentance for the LIE that killed 4400 American Soldiers and million Iraqi citizens, as the leader of the nation, "on Christmas" laughed and joked while looking under the desk, in a drawer, and under a Christmas tree for WMD. Blatant braggadocious and dangerous leadership. Now they are arrogantly smirking US into another one, because they want to see who has the biggest smartest bombs of the 21st century. If they get away with it, then WE humans are toast.
