I think some serious pollution/ industrial mishap, that the Chinese PTB want to dis-info and forget about.
OR wait, I just found this

And since in the article about china, they talk about heavy rains, this might be the case

Without a water sample, No accurate analysis can be given. Very interesting pic ( The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood like that of a dead man; and every living thing in the sea died.) Revelation 16:3... About six months ago I was watching a nova
special about this very subject. Experts said the algae were responsible.

looked into this before, no one knows for sure what causes it..
and then you need to wonder again about the pollution.
Chromatiaceae bacteria (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromatiaceae) is said to do this, (turn water red) I'm sure low oxygen isn't the only reason.
Those pictures of the salt are incredible.

What ever causes this is airbourne & has nothing to do with salt.
I live a couple of hours drive from the Camargue, & my water comes from a 240 meter deep bore well, if I fill a bottle with water it never turns red, whilst the bowl of water outside for the dog starts to go red after 24 hours !
The local (freshwater) river has never gone red, however some pools next to the river left by its fluctuating level do go red.

When I lived in Devon, England, we sometimes got red tap water after a heavy rainfall (soil contamination), I also remember seeing red (not pink) clouds over England following the eruption of Mt. St.Helen's.

There were a few quakes in that area that had the same color of dust that was disturbed, I think that is the connection.

Plague of roaches next.
naw......Frogs...God did not do the cockroach thingy.....he can't stand the crunching sound when someone stomps on one.
the plague were be in this following order
The plagues as they appear in the Bible are;
Water, which turned to blood and killed all fish and other aquatic life (Exodus 7:14–25)
Frogs (Exodus 8:1–8:15)
Lice (Exodus 8:16–19)
Flies or [5] wild animals (Exodus 8:20–30)
Disease on livestock (Exodus 9:1–7)
Incurable boils (Exodus 9:8–12)
Hail and thunder (Exodus 9:13–35)
Locusts (Exodus 10:1–20)
Darkness (Exodus 10:21–29)
Death of the first-born of all Egyptian humans and animals. To be saved, the Israelites had to place the blood of a lamb on the front door of their houses. (Exodus 11, Exodus 12)
The red river is not so bad....at least he did not make it rain for four thousand days and four thousand nights, would be a terrible waste of water.:nono::amen:

Why is there no videos on the net with exception of the photos seen here? Wouldn't you expect 1000's of smart phone You Tube video up-loaded by Chinese locals? Smells another rat to me.

Can see the orange colour on the bottle lining up with a brown area on beneath his arm, and a missing spot of colour which is brown then more overlapping orange on another guys arm.

The other images are probably pretty genuine, something like this would have already been checked out by other journalists and news agencies already.
