View Full Version : Checkpoint Of The Future

While watching 9/11 anniversary propaganda CNN style a few minutes ago, they did a bit touting the "Checkpoint Of The Future". There were no details, just how wonderful it's going to be, and how TSA in bending over backwards to help our airport security experience to be more pleasant, and more speedy. (Gosh that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, knowing how much they care.)

So I did a quick Google search, and found out it's already taking shape at Dallas' Love Field. Of course it's like Orwell's 1984 being showcased centerstage as the end of our worries, and this whole piece from USA Today is well worth the read.
http://travel.usatoday.com/flights/story/2012-06-19/Faster-better-airport-security-checkpoints-not-that-far-off/55693916/1

Here are just a couple of my 'favorite' excerpts:

The cameras, capable of tracking passengers from the parking garage to gates to
the tarmac, are a key first step in creating what the airline industry would
like to see at airports worldwide

After checking their luggage, passengers would identify themselves not with
driver's licenses and paper boarding passes, but by scanning fingerprints or
irises to prove they have an electronic ticket.

Those who voluntarily provide more information about themselves to the
government would be rewarded with faster passage.

As equipment is developed, the checkpoint ideally would require three tunnels
for passengers. Each would be based on the potential threat that a passenger
represents. Travelers who provide information like PreCheck would receive the
least scrutiny. Unknown passengers or those with liquids would face the most
sensitive tunnel.

Ah yes, nothing like creating a problem, that winds up with people demanding a solution huh? Now where have I heard that strategy before?

Fred I agree with your thoughts, very big brother like. But then I think to myself, what are the other options?

Hi Apofay, here's two off the top of my head, for starters that is.http://nexus.2012info.ca/forum/images/smilies/newadditions/smile.gif Dissolve the TSA, perp walk the likes of George W. dressed in irons before the cameras, and let them explain to us who the real terrorists are.

Looks like my flying days are over. Never really liked to anyway. I remember when I read Brave New World and 1984 by George Orwell back in the late 80's (for a college Ethics class) how it's stretched my imagination that we could actually ever live in a world like that. I knew there was much that wasn't right in our world but not nearly as informed as I am today (and I'm sure what I do know accounts for very little of the true bigger picture). In fact, quite a few Sci-Fi movies come to mind as well. I'm beginning to not recognize this world anymore. How can anyone think these types of measures are truly going to make the world a safer place. Maybe it will, but for whom I wonder.

Also it occurs to me the classic cognitive dissonance being instilled. On the one hand this morning, we had the likes of Leon Panetta and Obama bragging about how we have decimated the leadership of Al Qaida, and that their scattered remains barely even have time to catch their breath before we are all over them again.

Then we get to hear how terribly dangerous Al Qaida still is. They're hiding behind every bush, they may even be you or I, and the only way we can stay safe is to bolster our security and military more than ever...

Suuuuure, makes sense to me. Kind of like in 1945, when the Japanese military was broken, beaten back inside their own borders, and their country nearly bombed back to the stone age. I mean geez, what other choice did we have to defend ourselves from that point, besides to test out our two new toys, the uranium bomb, and the plutonium bomb, on two cities we had purposely left unscathed. It's fun to test out new technology, and exact total dominance at the same time. Like one of Obama's puppet maters Rahm Emanuel famously said: "Don't ever let a good crisis go to waste".

Yes, we certainly have it all here. "Zero tolerence" in the "Land of the free". Kind of like a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup: You get two great tastes that taste great together.

Rant complete, carry on.(LOL)

Yeah...Not a smart name choice indeed.

Fastscan would be a better option, so it doesn´t look like Rapescan.

Anyway, if things are really going in that direction, people would have no choice but to consent, otherwise life will become very hard for those who decide not to comply with this system.

The only thing that can save us from this grotesque future is a revolution; now.

There is talk of a peace treaty. Does anyone really believe even if there is no "threat" anymore that the "security" we're under would change one iota? http://hotair.com/headlines/archives/2012/09/11/zawahiris-brother-i-can-make-peace-between-the-west-and-al-qaeda/ and a little clip as well... http://www.cnn.com/2012/09/10/world/meast/zawahiri-peace-plan/index.html

Hi Conchis, not a chance. This is a very minority opinion, but I really think TPTW are in full panic mode. Something's got them spooked, and they're trying to dig themselves out of a hole so to speak, with this massive buildup of...Well everything.(LOL)

They already have mind control still pretty firmly in place, almost all the money and resources, and the weaponry to squash any uprising. Yet they're furiously boarding up like a category 5 hurricane is barreling down upon their beachfront mansion. So what am I saying? I'm saying I don't think, that this current crop of controllers anyway, is going to achieve their Orwellian paradise. I'm saying I think they're in the act of destroying themselves, and preparing for the "big fall".

Problem is, they can cause a world of misery on their way out. But, if we can just simply keep our cool, keep our hearts in the right place, and know when to say no, we might just be o.k. http://www.bigtenfever.com/forums/images/smilies/cheers.gif

Oh, and I apologize for derailing my own thread...It's one of those days...http://nexus.2012info.ca/forum/images/smilies/newadditions/smile.gif

Hi - I was chatting with a friend this morning and we came up with an idea. It should be totally legal and not able to be deemed inappropriate at all whatsoever.

For males - we have created out of material that would appear as close to human flesh as possible. We then mold that material into the form of an extension we wear around our testicles (strapped so that this device remains in place while we function normally). The device resembles testicles that extend as low don as possible while wearing sweat pants or some other nonrestrictive clothing. We would be able to walk relatively naturally. Nothing about this device would appear to the naked eye in any way. We have in our carry one bag the box the device came in. The box states the device is a "proven prevention for testicle/inner thigh irritation and is meant for the purposes of ensuring relief for those who are faced with having to make long walks.

Then, when we go through the full body scan, we do our utmost to keep a straight face.

Remember, the device must appear that you have huge testicles and that the testicle sack extends almost to the knees.

Voila! The TSA begins to lighten up as they try their best to keep from busting out laughing.

Message sent and yet impossible that they do anything about it!

hahahahaha

We can come up with the same type of device for females in relation to saggy breasts. But remember, the device is marketed as a body irritant reduction device and cannot be visible to the naked eye!

Problem solved.
