In the last 2 weeks there have been a large number of Mag. 5+ Earthquakes in the Pacific rim area. Many in the Philippines, from where I've just returned (which is why I've noticed them), and on the other side of the Pacific - Chile, Alaska. Plenty in Indonesia (not unusual), the Marianas islands and other locations within the "ring of fire". Today we see reports of volcanic eruptions in Japan, along with serious forecasts of Mt. Fuji's imminent eruption.

There certainly seems to be greater activity than we normally see, which makes me wonder if there isn't a MAJOR seismic event coming our way.

Lets not forget about Costa Rica 7.6 just last week. :)

It seems to me that for sure we will have bigger EQ this year and the next one, solar activity as well.

Our friend Keith (light potential) has got good info on EQ and planetary alinements which could be the cause of big EQ.

We are definitely living in interesting times. There is no doubt tectonic and volcanic activity is increasing. To what end and how soon? We will most certainly see ... wouldnt that be something if it were sooner rather than later. A coincidence, to be sure, because 2012 is a bust, right? For the potential lives at stake and the possibility of massive devestation, let us hope that incremental and slow change over decades and centuries insues rather than sudden and massive earth changes. We have enough problems dealing with our social issues to start worrying inordinately about the ground beneath our feet.

Sorry, I had indeed forgotten that one, not intentionally ;)
