I live near Mt Shasta California. I am sure most are familiar with the legends about the Lemurians living under the Volcano. I became facinated with Google earth and started looking close around the area. I stumbled on to an area that has amazing geoglyphs or earthart.
I created a web blog to show pictures of it. To the right of the blog are pages with more pictures. Page titled 'Random Interesting sites' look close at the goat head, notice the praying hands?. Also, the eye mound is very close to the eye of Horus. Also notice the blue robbed man? He is climbing a stairway, he is holding a women in his arms.

I am not selling anything. But, I would really like to hear what you think.
I was only able to cover a small portion on the blog. I am beginning to think I found traces of a very ancient civilization.
Thanks

Hello thanks for sharing and I visted your site with some neat images of the glyphs. Could you help me understand the statement above? When you mention stumbled, was that in reference to Google earth or literally at a location of the glyphs? Thank you...

They are beautiful glyphs. How much surface does each one covers?

From the beginning which starts with the fertility site and ends with the ascended man is about 40 miles long. There are a lot of legends of giants that lived in this area. Google giants of pacific northwest. Skeletons have been found too.
I think its a ritual site. But it also tells a story. Because if you look close at the fertility site, the penis actually has a face made of white squiggly lines in the testical sack. Its a very creepy face and it is pointed at what looks like an indiginous women. On the other side of her is a pond in the shape of a baby. Notice the catapiller? The next area (I didnt put pics on) shows what would be adolesent symbology glyphs, horse, monkeys etc. Then you come to this penis on one side and headless horse on the other (like man controling his beast nature) if you follow the lines up from the horse you are taken to the Indian head notice that the chakra's are in the right place? Notice too that the crown chakra is also shown? To the left of this is the Ascending man. The steps he walks up on the left are related to the glyphs on the right.
I am waiting to hear from a couple of Archeologists before I release the longs and lats. I am concerned about looters.

I can see the images OK on her site, and from what I can tell from the comments above, some other forum members can see them too.
(And if I couldn't see them, since they are on another website, I probably couldn't help much.)

This is a fascinating collection of images you have gathered at your site MissKat.
Here are a couple of links that may expand on some the ideas you've shared.
Recently posted at Live Science is an article about the discovery of a mural still very intact in Guatemala. It is shedding insights on some of the assumptions about the Mayan Calendar.
Nevermind the Apocalypse: Earliest Mayan Calendar Found .
What I found interesting in this article, after having read what you wrote about the blue robed man, is that the King in this mural is wearing a cape of blue feathers.

Interesting also, in light of some recent posts made by Wade Frasier in his thread on Free Energy (FE) is his very brief mention of the first money being traded as obsidian. In this Live Science article, the scribes are referred to as Senior Obsidian, Young Obsidian, ect...
I've learned to make note of these seemingly odd details/connections between apparently disparate sources of information.
Additionally, and the true reason I decided to post in this thread is that today, I stumbled onto a site explaining the Geometry of the Land (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=pe%20sla&source=web&cd=8&cad=rja&ved=0CEQQFjAH&url=http%3A%2F%2Fgeometryofplace.com%2Fbkhills.html&ei=ILJYUPC_MciTqwGSmYHoAw&usg=AFQjCNGcP5iVsW-nNToKeQyMit-1TB7wkA).
Recently, the Sioux nation has been calling the peoples to help/contribute in buying back a part of their Sacred Land, they call it the Heart of Everything... Pe' Sla. (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=pe%20sla&source=web&cd=3&cad=rja&ved=0CC0QFjAC&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.indiegogo.com%2FPeSla-LakotaHeartland&ei=ILJYUPC_MciTqwGSmYHoAw&usg=AFQjCNFucf4eFWdgw5-Tcn3e6f6fbu9xiQ)
The website Sacred Black Hills (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=pe%20sla&source=web&cd=8&cad=rja&ved=0CEQQFjAH&url=http%3A%2F%2Fgeometryofplace.com%2Fbkhills.html&ei=ILJYUPC_MciTqwGSmYHoAw&usg=AFQjCNGcP5iVsW-nNToKeQyMit-1TB7wkA) sheds some light onto the thinking of the Native American culture's way of connecting the land to the stars, something that also seems to show up in ancient Egyptian, and Mayan, and perhaps Lemurian cultures.
Sacred Black Hills (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=pe%20sla&source=web&cd=8&cad=rja&ved=0CEQQFjAH&url=http%3A%2F%2Fgeometryofplace.com%2Fbkhills.html&ei=ILJYUPC_MciTqwGSmYHoAw&usg=AFQjCNGcP5iVsW-nNToKeQyMit-1TB7wkA)
"In total the Black Hills resemble a heart - from an eagle's point of view. As the seasons change the coloration of the hills change giving the appearance (in time lapse imagery) of a beating heart. Native Peoples refer to this unique geologic formation as 'the heart of all that is'.
The heart of the Great American Plains, the Black Hills is 'THE' metal deposit on the continent. The massive conquest invasion of the west with iconographic miners is an indication of its rich mineralogical complexity. Gold, silver, uranium, copper, lead, lithium, bentonite clay, limestone, basalt, sandstone, and ... all mix into this alchemical brew.
The 'Heart of All that Is' is an amalgam of the elements at the center of Lakota cosmology: Star Knowledge, and North America's Great Plains".
Would you happen to have a source link to some of the legends of Lemurians living inside of Mt. Shasta. This is the first I've heard of this sort of legend.
Your eye of seeing what you have discovered through google maps is very keen. I hope to revisit your site often, and learn from you. I live in the Southwest, and it would be interesting to me to see what I may discover in my area, especially the area surrounding Chaco Canyon, and Dine' peoples.
Thanks for sharing MissKat... :)

A friend pointed the feather robed murial out to me a few weeks ago. Very interesting! I think we only look for what we, or our "cave man" ancestors were able to create. Thank you so much for your info. I will be delighted to check out the links. I grew up around here, so I have heard the legends forever. I think you can just do a google search and it will take you to some links.
What facinates me is that to the right of the 'steps' the blue robed man is climbing, has the steps of mans life carved. 1st step - fertiltiy area, 2nd step = scenes of adolecance 3rd has the horse/penis 4th is the indian head with the chakras. Above the indian with chakras is an arrow in a pond that points to the blue robed man.
I cant help but feel that there is something calling me to go look, but its in a very isolated place, and I am a big chicken.
I would like to keep in touch with you. I am sure this is part of a civilization lost eons ago. I dont know its Lemurian, but someone/or something created this site. There is no way its random.
Again thank you for your interesting post!!

I also want to point out that in Jewish Tradition, the high priest wore a Blue Robe over a white under garment. The white undergarment represented purity from sin. The sky blue indigo robe symbolized spirit.

thank you for these insights, I'll take a closer look at what you are describing, interesting the jewish tradition, too...
my understanding is that there once was a global culture, which may be one reason we see such a consistency in symbolic usage from diverse places...
The giant connection was also interesting. There were reports from the early explorers of the tribal people still speaking of giants, present even just a few hundred years ago.
I'll see if I can find a series of articles I had found last year about a cave that was excavated, in Utah, I think, remains of a giant found there.

I would guess that these are nothing. These are not man made or alien made. There are all kinds of shapes visible in topography. The only one that looks man made is the logging operation where you can see the roads they used. I have lived and worked in that area for a long time. I have never seen such a huge effort to apply some type of mythology to an area on the earth. All of the new age lore of that area is contrived and designed to draw your attention. There are no Lemurians under Mt. Shasta people. I wish that the mountain was valued for what it actually is and not all of these myths and legends that have absolutely no basis in fact at all. Not one scintilla of provable evidence. It has to be taken as a matter of faith alone.

Personally I think there are a lot better places to live, then under a volcano. I didnt really buy into the legends either, but I do think there is more to this site than just random earth anomilies. The site tells a story, through symbols and colors. I do not know if the Lemurians trully existed. But there is more here than our present civilization could have created. With our present technology we couldnt have built the pyramids either.

Welcome to Project Avalon. I didn't mean to degrade your work at all. I'm sorry if it sounded like that. I'm the eternal skeptic but have no problem accepting the possibilities of anything including what you are saying. Definitely possible and not just a fantasy type subject. I have an entire article I wrote about Mt. Shasta and the origins of the new age. In it I discuss what I feel are the actual beliefs and spiritual use of the mountain. Here is a link to the article. Please read and feel free to disagree as well. Either way I think you may find some info there that pertains to your studies! It includes an actual rationale for the Castle Crags Petroglyphs which have Theosophic themes that many point to as being 'Lemurian.' There are people who view the mountain as a spiritual axis and not in any sort of 'new age' way.
