Contacting Your Spirit Guide

Many of us try to contact or consult with our higher self or spirit guide. And many of us have contact with our spirit guide. I for one are seeking a personal and comfortable relationship with my spirit guide on a closer basis. So after researching on how to contact your spirit guide I found this website that resonated with me. Thought I'd share with the spiritual community. Enjoy!

The term Spirit Guide generally makes reference to one or more entities who watch, teach, heal, and help you on your physical journey into spiritual awareness. They are above in higher frequency, while you experience the physical below.

Communication is generally telepathic, clairaudience,with archetypes and visual imagery, clairvoyance,observed during meditation, dream time, or just learning how to focus, look and listen to messages received. Some people call this method of connection, channeling. The more you practice, the easier it gets.

The number of spirit guides one has various within that person's experiences. The strongest connection is with the aspect of your soul referred to as your Twin Flame - dual aspects of a soul, above and below, programmed to seek reunion to feel complete, oneness. The twin soul reference to 'spirit guide' remains with you until you rejoin when leaving the physical body.

Spirit guides can go by many names. Often they connect with more than one people at a time, using identities that are comfortable to those they communicate with.

Spirit guides may be viewed as any type of non-physical, perhaps an alien ... however they are perceived.

Each guide generally comes to you for a specific purpose - creative abilities, healing issues, spiritual development, etc. A guide can save you during an accident, by entering your body or stopping time.

I have discovered that people who live in balance have humorous spirit guides and manifest positively in the physical, faster now than ever before, and in a healthy way.

Those with mental illnesses, even unrecognized, yet sensed, will attract negative experiences and blame it on their guides or dark forces. Not true in most cases. Guides ... are there to do just that ... guide you to the positive. If the voices in your head confuse you, place you in conflict, and drive you crazy, please seek professional help and get evaluated, especially if you deal with substance abuse.

To help get a point across, spirit guides work with you 'above' to create viable synchronicities that occur below. Synchronicities, in general, are experiences created by your soul to bring you into greater awareness.

I have always wanted to figure out who my spirit guide is. I tried to do the above suggested thing, but it did not work. I don't understand why it did not work because I am open minded, can see past things that have occured in places, often have accurate dreams about the future, and can heal with energy from my hands. I am kind of afraid that if I open myself up to a spirit guide that I will be opening myself up to scary bad things too. Is there any way to keep bad stuff away? I can't stand scary things!

Go to the site listed and read all the info available there. You will be able to connect the dots and be able to trust your higher self. The answers are there, the site is like a metaphysical cookbook. Short answer, use your higher self mirror (energetic shield) and reflect evil back onto itself. Seek and when you are ready the answer will find you. IMHO

Trust your intuition! Your innerself knows the truth. If it feels right than go with it.

I book marked the above site, 10 years ago, and loved it. Lotta cool stories there. But, that's all I got. Stories. I found William Buhlman, and he taught me how to go to my High Self, and now that is the only one that I listen to. Spirit guides, will not take you to your Higher Self. YOU, must find Him all by Yourself. YOU, are the only one that has the power, to find "Your High Self. YOU. You must go out of body, and go there PERSONALLY.

Do not put so much credence into science, Niki. Science is as limited as the imagination of those who practice it. Instead, look at some of the information out there that speaks to alternative science and paranormal science. You might want to look specifically at such books as Human Devolution (http://www.humandevolution.com/), by Micheal Cremo, that documents the excruciatingly meticulous experiments carried out by numerous researchers in the late 1800s and early 1900s on paranormal phenomenon in seances and other paranormal encounters, on poltergeists, bi-location, ghosts, levitation and such things. Subjective and relative evidence of the existence of the paranormal complies with the quantum nature of these events as proven by the double-slit experiment (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfPeprQ7oGc), which actually turns the idea of scientific "objectivity" upside-down.

There is no such thing as objectivity and the realm of spirit energy goes beyond what our formal science understands, as the spirit energy is consciousness manifest, the revelation of one consciousness, which is also quantum-based, in the form of quantum entanglement (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jh8uZUzuRhk). All is connected. The recent discovery of the "god-particle" or Higgs-Boson (http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/story/2012/07/04/f-god-particle-higgs-boson.html), is part and parcel of this, as evidence of the existence of a "super-particle" or the "ether", a realm of fluid manifest materiality, that underlies even the quantum level.

Science is catching up with what people have always known pertaining to the world beyond sight, for hundreds and thousands, if not millions of years.

Thank you for your suggestion. Yeah, I tried this on numerous occassions. It just doesn't work in the right way for me. I get messages about a cat. And then all of my cats come and try to sit on me. Or I see an image of California with the number 7.5 imposed on it. Or I see a guy hanging onto a door frame in my house getting blown really hard by wind.

I tried the writing thing. I get two different handwriting patterns. Pictures of flowers or squiggles or whatever, too. I saying hello and ask for a name. I get told my mother's name, but I know that is BS, because my mother would never use her first name with one of her children. Sometimes it or me or whatever would draw an arrow, so I looked up a saw a big white blob for a flash. But that is it.

I just can't do it. And I can totally tell that some other things are interfering. I know I am not talking to my twin flame or spirit guide or anything. Unless my spirit guide is a cat with bad art and math skills. I feel like I am playing with a cheesy ouija board like in junior high school.

Maybe I don't have a spirit guide. Or maybe it got bored and left me. Or maybe I don't have a twin flame. Maybe I am the twin flame that is supposed to be guiding a different part of me. I have a gut feeling that I don't actually have a twin flame though. I just feel that I don't.

I wonder if someone else can introduce me to my spirit guides. I can't possibly just have a cat that only draws pictures can I? Bummer.
